CHILDHOOD Ryder was born in the family country home in the south side of France. It was on the outskirts of a small town with a rich art scene. Despite the open minded artsy community just beyond they're door. The Bolton family was not quite as accepting. They seemed to be a perfect family, Ryder the youngest son of two, and then Mom and Dad, a stay at home mother and a doctor respectively. The boys had very little to worry about in life.
SCHOOL YEARS:
xx--------- Then it came time for Ryder to start school and the family soon after moved to Paris, as their father had obtained a new prestigious job at a city hospital. So the family of four began to live in a home in the south side of the city. Ryder was an average kid, no excellence in sports or studies. But a growing talent for music. And so music became his life. His older brother, Eddie, grew a protective streak and did everything to keep the younger boy safe and happy. As years went by Eddie got a loft in the America to attend university. Ryder discovered his own attraction to the same gender. And Ryder's life started to shake apart. Apparently that was a bit to much for the distaste of the parents. And so Ryder was kicked out, with Eddie making the trip to bring him to stay with him. The brothers stayed in the loft from then on. Until the accident. It was Ryder's 16th birthday, the pair were on their way out to celebrate when they were struck by a drunk driver on the main road. The car flipped and everything went black. Ryder came to in the back of an ambulance. The sound of the paramedic's sigh of relief on how his pulse was back. Ryder had been dead for a moment. But when revived his powers awoke to. In the Hospital Ryder discovered his abilities, while in recovery from several broken ribs, a broken leg and a concussion. He shared a hospital room with Eddie, who was in a coma, his injuries more intense. When Ryder was released it was only a short time after when a slip in his powers got the attention of a group of mutant hunters. Setting out on the run, Ryder left the city for his own safety. Wishing he could at least have said bye to his brother.
