For being a 'modern metropolis' Destiny City was rather boring to Vladimirite's mind. Coming from a country where history was practically at every street corner and mordern things wove through relics with ease. Here in the states everything was a mash of time periods and various styles, no consistency, nothing...timely. There was a disconnected that he wasn't fond of. Just as much as he was not fond of how utterly busy he was now at night with his new 'job' of harvesting energy from people. It was convoluted as to why they, the negaverse did so but, he rather liked being alive so he didn't question all that much. Tonight however, he got the feeling at something nearby was less than pleasant, and as he wove through an abandoned lot, the feeling of unease grew.

Coincidentally, the one that was probably causing the feeling of unease was feeling some unease himself. Cor Caroli kept telling himself he had to go out and fight Negaverse agents. He kept pitching back and forth. Which decision was the right one? Could he really keep fighting on the side of Order, or should he just go to the side that seemed to have itself put together? A small spot of darkness registered on the corner of Cor's senses. There was a Lieutenant around. He sucked in a breath, wondering if it would really be a good idea to engage and see if might made right. Well, at the very least, he'd get a look at who his future cohorts might be. With that, he advanced on the signature, bounding across rooftops to same some travel time. The Lieutenant appeared to be by himself with no terrain to protect him; that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Still, Cor dropped down and approached. "Howdy, Lieutenant," he said, giving a somewhat excessively casual wave. "What are you up to?" He kept his voice as neutral as possible. Whether this ended in a fight or not, he wanted it to be on the Agent's terms, sort of as a test. He didn't feel much like making decisions right now, anyway.

The sudden sickly feeling on his skin was matched by the sickly expression he wore. Vlarimirite realized far too late that it was some order fellow near him, and when the senshi appeared, speaking to him using that god awful american slang the expression on his face was utterly repulsed. "No wonder I was beginning to feel ill." He said, hand resting on the empty scabbard. "Seems something rotten and disgusting has been near me and I didn't even realize it." Pulling the scabbard up from his belt, the agent held it aloft, poited at the senshi. "Let us skip the rest of the usual diatribe however. Vladimirite. I am here because those are my orders. Now please do ready yourself for combat, I'd hate to kill you without making it a fair match."

"Rotten and disgusting? You have no idea." Cor Caroli gave a small chuckle. "Absolutely no idea." There was a lot rotten in the state of Cor Caroli, as far as he was concerned. He arched an eyebrow at the Lieutenant. "All you've got's a sword sheath, huh... I guess I have to do something before you get a weapon to fill it, huh? Fair enough." He took a deep breath and assumed a fighting stance. Since there were no real weapons involved, there was no need to worry about being cut to ribbons before he got close. Clenching his fists, he darted forward, hoping to land a solid body blow. He was still a painfully non-combat senshi though, so he wasn't feeling that confident in his accuracy.

A sneer ran over his face as the senshi only confirmed his insult. It seemed that apparently some of the celestial soldiers were just as bad as his fellow officers had told him. "Being disgusting is not a thing to be proud of." He said, tapping the end of the scabbard to the pavement. There was little room to even quip after that, the senshi darting forward to strike him. He might not yet have a sword, but that did not mean the scabbard was useless. Stiff leather and steel could harm well enough if used properly. The fist grazed his face as he brought up his scabbard, seeking to have it connect with the arm. Disable then complete the mission. And try not to get too hurt.

"Never said I was-" Cor Caroli made a weird noise when the scabbard whacked his arm. Would that leave a mark? He wasn't sure. "Ow?" The questioning inflection was something of an accident. He sucked in a breath and growled as he took another swing. He didn't want this go on for too long; he was feeling exceptionally flighty today, and also not really feeling the battle. It was out of indecision and obligation that he even approached in the first place. Anything could happen, he supposed.

The fist got him and Vlad hadn't been anticipating the pain to be as much as it was. He'd forgotten that senshi had strength equal to his own. Cringing and shaking off the pain best he could he lifted the scabbard with the intent to stab the man when he felt a tug in his lower gut. He was being called. "It seems I have business elsewhere." Gritting his teeth, Vlad backed away. "Looks like we'll have to postpone this confrontation for another date."

It might have been a feint, but his opponent was backing away, so Cor Caroli lowered his fists as well. "If you say so," he said, maybe being a bit too casual around the guy he'd just gotten into fisticuffs with. "Go do what you've got to do. Maybe we'll meet again someday." Cor backed away as well in preparation for breaking off. He gave a dissonantly cheery "Byeeee!" before finally splitting from the scene. Hey, if he was being given the opportunity to get out, why not do so?

Vlad preferred to finish what he started, but he doubted he would be entirely successful if he pressed. Senshi and their magic were unpredictable while all he had was an empty scabbard. "Perhaps." Was the only cryptic reply he could give the senshi before he left the area, and in the back of his head, the agent hoped it would be none too soon. After all, he'd technically just failed in his nightly duties and he loathed the upcoming chastisement.
