On the rare occassions that Mintaka powered up since her fiasco in the mirrorspace, the woman had found that her powers still felt unstable and sickening.
To her mind's eyes, the chaos that had tainted her, overwhelmed her, dripped from her uniform into her skin and her blood. She didn't want to power up because the allure of mirrorspace called to her and sometimes....sometimes she wanted to disappear back into it.
Sometimes she wanted to just let everything go, as Mintaka and live back in the mirrors like they were her only home.
Instead though, she channeled the energy into draining and patrolling for the night. At some point though, she became mindless, draining anyone that she could find. Tonight was one of those nights as she stood in the middle of a house party, teenagers laying on the ground around her from her sucking their energy, her wraiths summoned and cleaning the house.
Her eyes showed no emotion...they showed nothing like the true Mintaka would have.

Hydrus powered up far more often than Mintaka did, and entered Mirrorspace where she did not. Yet he dared not do that around her, for fear she would follow and never return. He did, however, keep tabs on her when she powered up and followed her at a leisurely distance. Tonight was one of those.
He cautiously stepped into the house and surveyed the damage. The whole house was passed out as the wraiths made their way through. He rubbed his arms.
"Mintaka..." he said, approaching her. Hydrus looked her over and tensed. s**t. He summoned a mirrorshard of his own and released the wraith within. "Drain Mintaka." The command rang through the quiet air and he grimaced. He hated having to drain her; Aurostibite was not here though, and it fell to him to keep her in check.
The wraith floated towards her, to begin draining her as instructed.

It wasn't intentional on Elsa's part, following Mintaka. But he'd sensed two other Dark Mirror auras, close together, one Eternal and one Super, and when he'd drawn close, one had definitely been Mintaka, but something was....wrong.
When he stepped into the house and saw the littered teenage bodies, he knew for certain that something was very, very, very wrong.
"Mintaka?" He asked, and he looked over at the other Senshi, eyes slightly wide. "Can she hear us?"
He doubted it, all things considered. Especially since she looked like she had in that awful mirror labyrinth. He called up his wraiths--draining had worked before--and gestured towards her, hoping this actually worked out.Pixie Nyxie resurrects bajillion yr old thread

She looked normal to them, beyond the glazed eyes.
To Mintaka though, she saw the dark black blood, flowing from her fingertips that were dyed with the same black. Chaos, chaos, Pandora's chaos. Deep and dark and terrible. Chaos that infected her soul.
Wraiths that were not hers joined the fray, and she could feel them sucking her out. No. No no no no. This was HER power.
This was her chaos.
"Origami Blizzard!*" She shot the magic at both of the dark mirrors, two boys that she loved, that she couldn't recognize in the moment. They weren't dark mirrors....just shadows that presumed to take her power away. a-disgruntled-dragon Origami Blizzard With her final upgrade, Mintaka can summon up to 1000 cranes, stars, flowers and various other small origami shapes that attack much like her two attacks before, Instead of just being blinded (but still focused on blinding), it reaches an actual damaging amount of papercuts. It stings, small cuts form in the most of annoying spots and are hard to deflect. This effect last up to a minute. Range is 15ft max and with the heavy amount of origami shapes, a deflection can only happen by violent winds...(Such as strong gust or gales of storm strength), or if the target is out of range.
