Dalema is a young and lively troll who can hardly keep herself in one place. She loves keeping her conversations as energetic as herself and with a good dose of intelligence. But focusing more about actions, better yet, to just go out and do it. There is no greater joy for this greenblood than pushing boundaries and discovering and using new things and ideas. Dale goes through life leaping before she looks, fixing her mistakes as she go, rather than sitting idle, preparing contingencies and escape clauses. She lives in the moment and dives into the action– pretty much she's the eye of the storm.

The child tends to make a lifestyle of risky behavior, going on and on trying to become a detective at a young age even though she's just a kid. Being raised by a fast-paced lusus, Dalema tries her best to keep up with them. So whenever they share a special moment, like taking over a stolen van to catch evil doers, she overindulges to keep that fast energy going! The more sugar in her system, the more energy she has to do all the things she loves and the more her lusus will notice her.

This troll also enjoys drama, passion, and pleasure, not for emotional thrills, but because it’s so stimulating to her logical mind. Mysteries stimulate her the most-- as she tries to figure out the cause or the culprit and other's intentions or past. Therefore her lusus encourage her to make critical decisions based on factual, immediate reality in a process of rapid-fire rational stimulus response. If she wants to be a detective, then she must think fast!

Sadly one thing that comes with an action packed life is danger, and she is very danger prone. Always getting herself into trouble, or a potentially dangerous situation. This doesn't only happen while she's out meddling, but also when she claims she can fix something or make one of her many contraptions but but does more damage in the latter. Of course, she claims she doesn't look for trouble, trouble just finds her!

Schoolfeeding institutions and other highly organized environments are a challenge for Dalema. It certainly isn’t because she isn’t smart, she can handle it, but the regimented, lecturing approach of formal education is just so far from the hands-on learning that she enjoys. Thus she tries her best to avoid places like that, even if it goes against her lusii's orders. She can be found in crowdy places like malls, arcade stores... where the action happens!

Watching her lusii's technokinesis abilities inspired the child to create her own machines and inventions. She loves mechanics and tries to put them to use in her everyday life, specially designing some to help her catch the bad guys. However, as they are made by a mere child, they don't really work as they should, frustrating her in the process.

The hemospectrum, she claims she doesn't identify with it. After all, this future detective can't be biased by rules, order and regulations! Highbloods can be just as guilty as any lowblood, so that shouldn't cloud her judgement, right? So she just pretends is a thing that normal and boring trolls should worry about, certainly something not for "super interesting" ones like herself. This only applies for business, not for her social life.

Being so complicated, her views on it shift constantly. Dalema wants to look good in front of those above her, to feel good-- to feel "highblooded." If she hangs out with highbloods, then that makes her part of their crowd and means having friends that could pretty much buy her ANYTHING. So even if she's nice with her lowblooded friends when the big trolls aren't around, she would very much ridicule, shame or backstab them for a highblood's friendship.

Strengths:

?BOLD: Full of life and energy, Dalema has no greater joy in life than pushing boundaries and discovering and using new things and ideas. She loves to experiment with new ideas, solutions and putting things together in ways no one else would think to. The child never hesitates to do anything, in fact, she's always very eager to do them! Parkour? You got it. Climbing a tall building and parachuting? You bet it! Dale grabs the bull by it's horns, and loves a good challenge.


?PERCEPTIVE: Dale can notice small changes, and puts it to use when she plays hidden object games or when she's on a self proclaimed case. Whether a shift in facial expression, a new clothing style, or a broken habit, she picks up on hidden thoughts and motives where most would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. This ability helps her notice when things change– and when they need to change! Small shifts in habits and appearances stick out to her and she use these observations to help create connections with others.

Flaws:

¿COMPLICATED: Just like her traps, Dalema is difficult to understand and predict. She's problematic, convoluted, torturous, difficult and inconsistent. Dale often has a serious random personality in her, which no one can ever be quite sure how she will react when exposed to certain truths-- like the fact that she pushes herself too hard to do things way out of her league. Not only that, the child tends to make things complicated by trying to fit in. Stay cool with the highblooded crowd she wishes to impress and wishes to get beetles out of. But trying to be someone else in order to fit in just makes things complicated. She has to lie and put on many excuses to keep her cool appeal to others. That involves molding herself into someone she's not to be liked.

¿INSENSITIVE: What are feelings? Everyday she observes changes in trolls, and she uses these observations immediately once she's uncovered the "truth." Dalema calls out the change and ask questions, often with little regard for sensitivity. Not everyone wants their secrets and decisions broadcast, and oh how she does this relentlessly. Sometimes these observations and actions are what’s required in some environments, specially in emergencies, but everyday?

If Dalema isn't careful though, she might get too caught in the moment, take things too far, and run roughshod over more sensitive trolls.

Her hobbies involve reading and watching mystery and action packed pieces. Also, Dale loves to FLARP, and tries to bring her private eye persona, Pettra Remeda, to life! She comes up with different dramatic backstory to her character and wouldn't be strange to see her in-character at certain times. She aspires to become the best detective out there, and out smart, outwit anyone who's on the same path as her, yet they're not "as good." She also loves building traps, and contraptions she dubs as "-inators", which are intended to make her life easier.

Dalema's lusus is an electric anaconda and leech-like creature she likes to refer them as Ampère. Ampère is able to absorb and eject electricity and can inhabit electrical devices, controlling them from the inside. Usually they cause any electronics to malfunction, this isn't done on purpose as Ampère can't handle certain amounts of electricity and must get rid off the excess before it kills them. In their hassle, they leave it inside the first electric machinery they can find. Therefore machines fry and malfunction afterwards. They can multiply if split in half. Ampere can regenerate damaged parts at a slow rate and they can shed such parts as a means of defense. The portion with the head may grow a new tail if the cut is after the segments that contain vital organs. While the tail portion will be able to regenerate a head obviously showing signs of fibrosis, but will not be able to function properly. That newly regenerated portion will continue to wiggle until the nerve cells die. They love collecting technological junk, they see them as toys! Toys that one day Dale can fix and they can try to control without blowing them up.

Ampère's favorite "toy" is a van they found sweeps ago, and they try their best not to blow it up when they use it. (If they do, they just get another one and pretend nothing happen.) They are 17 ft long, making it easier for them to coil and cover enough ground to control a large machine. As they don't only absorb it through their sucker but also their body surface. It is quite difficult when dealing with more complex and smaller machinery. As they might produce more electricity than needed. So they slowly try to figure out the right amount by swallowing it and fasting their jaws to give out small amounts of electricity. In feeding they slice their way through the surface of their host to prevent immediate malfunction.

The lusus exist to have "fun," which in their case is to cause trouble wherever they go. While they cause a lot of damage, Ampère isn't chaotically evil, in fact they are not openly hostile to others. They just merely lack any self-control or sense of the danger they may cause. However, Ampère will openly attack if they are provoked. They're philosophy is simple, "You Only Live Once", since they primarily feed on energy, if it runs out at some point they would die. Which is why they try to eat more than they should. The blood they eat acts as a conductor, which worsen the physical discomfort whenever they overindulge. Ampere gets really anxious waiting for their end therefore, they try their best to enjoy every waking second of their time alive. Sometimes they're too preoccupied with their fun, destructive games that they exclude their charge from them. More if they know she can't handle it.

They consider she should spend her time doing stuff like learning things imposed by society-- things Ampère doesn't have time to explain since they're so busy enjoying life to the max. Other times, when they do try to include her in family activities, they get impatient and can't stop to wait for Dale to catch up to them.

Dalema does her best to do as they say and tries to get their attention by building the most obnoxious contraptions she can think off. She wants to be acknowledged by them and wants them to be proud of all the things she accomplishes.
