Something about this winter felt much colder than he was used to. More likely than not it was just because he was out side more in the dead of night than he used to be. The addition of being a knight added hours to his time outside, after seeing that he could be of use to other fighters out there. Not much help, but still some.
Honestly, he was awful at fighting other people. Youmas? Sure. It was a little scary fighting things with giant sharp teeth and claws that wanted to kill him, but in the end they just seemed like angry uncontrollable animals. They weren't people that had families at home waiting for them. So there wasn't any guilt in fighting them... And when it came to the Negaverse, well, the only experience he had with a soldier went awfully so there was no rush at all to meet another.
One could say he was less likely to meet a Negaverser if he stayed powered down, but with the Judge still out and about tonight, Susquehanna wanted to at least make sure that the small pathways he had to travel to his car was safe. So outside he was, shivering in the cold with his meager uniform, exploring about. And to his surprise, he wasn't alone. Somewhere nearby was a person like him, powered and sharing the same sort of warm aura, though more powerful than his own. He really wanted to find out who it was, even if the warmth of his home seemed so much more appealing. How many other knights had he met? Three? Certainly it wouldn't hurt him to meet someone else.
It didn't take long to find them either, their aura a clear beacon in this otherwise dreary night.
"H-Hello... A-are you a knight as well?" Of course they were, it was a foolish question to ask, but he asked nonetheless. Better safe than sorry.

Alphubel had been out and about again, though this was the last time he was going to be able to go on patrol for a while. Unfortunately, with the last... encounter he had had with a Negaverse agent, he had been feeling less than enthusiastic to go out again. However, the semester was about to start, and Alphbuel wanted to get one last patrol done before he had to focus solely on school. After all, he wanted to graduate this semester with good grades. He didn't want to fail and be held back! January was being unusually cold, even for the Polaris knight, but he wasn't feeling it as much considering the the uniform he had one. He didn't think the robe would be quite as warm as it was, but the combination of it and the outer robe, along with what was underneath all of it, made him quite warm and it was easier to walk about like this than it would be if he was just in civilian clothing. Although it was of no help during the summer. He wished that senshi's and knights had two different types of seasonal clothing so they didn't have to freeze or burn. However, he suddenly felt the aura of another knight who seemed to be heading in his direction. Since they were already coming to Alphubel, he just stayed in place rather than going towards them, though he could have gone to meet them half way. However he did have a planned route for tonight, and it seemed to be a page that was coming to him. When the other did come, Alphubel couldn't hold his surprise at the other. He wasn't sure what type of knight the other was, but the clothing the man had on did not look warm at all, and he looked like he was a lot older than Alphubel, and shivering. Alphubel wanted to throw a blanket on the man and usher him inside where the page could be warm! It was awful out here, especially in that uniform. "Yes... I'm a knight of Polaris. I'm a squire, Alphubel. May I ask what your name is? Do you need any help? You're freezing!" A silly and obvious statement at this point, but Alphubel just couldn't help himself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Alphubel." Finally! It seemed to be a friendly face instead of someone who wanted to hit him right away. Susquehanna even managed smile at the man in an earnest way, though it fell away after a moment when he realized just how cold he was.
"Ah... Y-yes it is cold... I didn't really think the weather through... But that's alright, really.. I-I'm Susquehanna, page of Jupiter... It seems like you're far better suited for this weather than I.. Ahaha..." A nervous, or maybe cold, laugh left him as he stepped a little closer, using the man as a slight shield against the blowing snow. "I was on my way home, though I don't know.. If I can make it this way... My Civilian clothes aren't the best either... M-maybe I should call a cab or something.. B-but don't worry too much about it, sir, I can make it home... You're not going to be out too much longer a-are you? You shouldn't be cold either..."

Alphubel wasn't sure what to do and was now starting to panic a bit. How could they possibly think that clothing like that could possibly be okay in a place like Destiny City that got so cold during the winter! Honestly, maybe Guardian cats and whatever made knights awaken should wait until that person was actually living in the correct climate according to their outfit. "Uh, nice to meet you Sus-que-hanna." That would take some getting used to. Alphubel wondered if the page had some sort of nickname. Suddenly though Alphubel had an idea, though he wasn't sure if the other would be so accepting of it. "Well uh... maybe to get a bit warmed up we could spar or something? After that we can call you a cab to get home, but if you want to warm up, it might not hurt?" Well, maybe it would. He didn't exactly know at what temperature frostbite started.

"You can call me Hanna if it's easier... S-sorry, it's a mouthful." He had been to the river that his wonder was based off of, read the history, but it was still a mouthful to say. Hanna was shorter, so hopefully that would help some.
The very thought of having to battle spar out here in the snow was so very unpleasant in the poor Page's mind, but the other had a point. It would warm him up. And then he'd be sweaty and even more cold... Maybe it would pass the time until the cab would arrive.
"Oh.. Um... How about instead I'll call the cab, and we c-can quickly spare before they arrive..? As empty as it is, we shouldn't have a problem seeing them approach and power down before they get too close... I-Is that alright?"

Alphubel smiled. "Hanna is a lot easier." It was good that the page gave Alphubel a nickname to use, otherwise Alphubel probably would have been calling him 'you' all night. Alphubel thought the other's plan was a good idea. "That sounds good. If you need a cell phone, I brought mine. We can spar while waiting, that way you don't have to be standing here in the cold." Or wander the streets somewhere. Honestly, Alphubel was feeling a bit sorry for the page. He knew how much one may have wanted to patrol but... Alphubel had been awakened in the winter, it had been no problem then. But this guy... he needed to bring a sweater or something! Kapoodles We can skip to after the phone call if you want.

"No, no.. It's fine.. I can do this." Out of his own sub-sbace he pulled out a burner phone, a trick he learned from a knight who saved him not so long ago.. He had learned alot of things from that knight, Mamertine, especially since it seemed like every time they ran into one another it was a time of stress.
Cab called, phone put away, and a time estimation obtained, Susquehanna found out that he had just enough time to do a little sparring.. Unfortunately... God he was tired.
"Alright... I think we have about twenty minutes... So.. Uh.. What's your weapon? I have this.." In the blink of an eye he summoned his little oar to his hand, holding it out to show out somewhat proudly. "It's not much, and it's a little broken, but I think it's good..."

Alphubel waited patiently as the other called his friend. They would have to wait for some time, but at least the other knight had someone who could pick him up now! Maybe it would be Alph's turn to have to go back when it came to summer. His outfit wasn't too good in the warm weather. Alphubel smiled at the other and just held up his lantern. "It's this lantern. I didn't really use it when it was just a lens piece when I was a page, but I feel more connected to it now. I'm sure that oar will become something amazing once you become a squire!" Or at least it would gain magic, and that would do a lot more than just the first item. Though having to carry something around like that all the time made it so that one couldn't help but be attached to it. However, Alphubel's magic wouldn't really do anything in this spar against the page, so he wouldn't be using it. "All right, you ready to do this then?" He asked, getting into a defensive stance as he re-attached the lantern to his uniform. Kapoodles I am so sorry for taking so long to get back to this! We can finish it if you still need it/want to do it!

"I'm hoping that's the case too, but... I think we'll find out soon enough." Hanna was in no rush to speed up his progress. Slowly and steadily he pushed forward, trying to do what he could to make the world safer. If he eventually managed to connect to his wonder while focusing on that goal, then that was just an added benefit.
With a brief nod, he got into his own fighting position, waiting for the right moment to start the spar, then he launched forward, taking a quick swing towards the other's side with his oar.

Alphubel wasn't too sure if he was in the right pose to square off against the page, but couldn't really worry about it as the page suddenly took a quick swing at him, and Alphubel was only barely able to dodge. But it did put a smile on his face, at least Hanna was willing to do this! Though Alph wasn't sure if he was the best fighting mentor. Alphubel did what he could and tried to grab at the arm that was now out with one hand, though he knew that his side was now vulnerable because of it. He tried to side-step just in case he managed to miss the other's arm. Kapoodles Sorry for taking so long to reply!

Hanna was surprised himself that he attacked with such intensity right off the back, and he silently thanked his dear friend Alexei for that. It was thanks to his confidence boosting sweetness that he had the gal to do anything out of the norm, including responding to being grabbed!
The moment Alphubel's hand made contact with his arm, he lifted his own arm up high, pulling the other knight's arm with him and made a swift punch into the soft tissue right under his armpit.
He knew from experience that getting hit there was enough to knock him right off his feet, so he did try to make it as gentle of a hit as he could without taking away from the real fighting of it all. The action left him twisted though, so he had no choice but to take another step forward and hope it threw Alphubel off balance just as much as it threw him off.
