Hated Food: Anything "heavy" or too rich. She and her mom both struggle with a lot of foods so they're often limited on what they can eat.
School: N/a. Works at her mom's alchemy shop; Devil's Details. It's really more just a "potion"/herbal/perfume store but she prefers to considering it an alchemy shop. Ariel works as the cute check out girl.
Hobbies: Video Games -- Ree is a nerd, she didn't stand a chance between her parents. Her mother pretty much raised her playing video games and her favourite series hands down is Legend of Zelda. Her and her mother both played Ocarina of Time seeing who could beat the game first and really video games have always been a big part of their bonding as Ree grew up.
She doesn't really think of herself as more then a casual gamer in terms of how she plays but is very dedicated to certain systems and game series. She probably won't ever stop playing video games even when she's a little old lady.
Cosplay -- A fledgling hobby that Ree is really excited about and looking to improve on. Mostly she's made little accessories here and there and attempted some actual costuming but nothing full blown until now. Her mother is showing her how to do more actual planning of concepts and making her own templates, and she's been trying to study up on how to make more complex accessories and accents but so far it's slow going.
She hopes to one day to make her first full cosplay of either Zelda or true-form Midna from the Legend of Zelda series.
Collecting -- While she has several collections that are constantly growing (figurines, stuffed animals, pokemon cards just to name a few), Ree is really just a collector at heart. She'll even collect pens, pencils, sketch books, notebooks... she's not a hoarder but she just likes to collect things?? She's good about getting rid of things when she needs to, there's just something about adding things to her collections that fill her with joy.
Virtues: Self Relient -- For the longest time Ree's mom raised her as a single parent, trying to work and provide a stable home life for her daughter. Which meant that Ree had to learn to take care of herself from a young age. While her mom was getting ready for work, tiny Ree would be preparing herself breakfast and getting herself dressed. Once she hit school aged it came down to packing her own lunches, maybe even getting herself dinner depending on her mother's schedule.
Even now, moved into her own apartment, she keeps that same mentality of relying on herself to get things done, and doesn't often ask for help if she can help it. Bills are paid on time, she makes sure she's in to work on time, makes sure she always has a way in to work. Sure her mother owns the business but that doesn't mean she can slack.
That also doesn't mean she won't accept help if given to her, but she doesn't really go and do the asking.
Compassion -- While she may not know every one, or be known by everyone, Ree does her best to show everyone compassion. Always one for helping others she tries to become a friend when others need one. She will listen when ears are needed, forgive mistakes when no one else will, Ree just seems to understand the situation and helps in any way she can. Even if it's just by giving you kind words or a shoulder to cry on.
Flaws: Reticent -- Ree is absolutely abhorrent about talking about herself unprompted. She'll give you information you ask for but don't get mad if she fails to tell you something about her that you didn't ask about. ("You didn't tell me you made cosplay items!" "You didn't ask." ) She also doesn't like to talk about her feelings, or really in general. She's happier to just be a part of a group doing the talking and listening to them. This often makes her appear aloof, though really she isn't.
Other's First -- Surprisingly enough Ree tends puts all others before herself, be it their health or happiness. All of her problems, her sadness or her health pale in comparison to when others need her. It's surprisingly easy to forget about her own downfalls and stuggles when she's putting that effort into those closest to her.
All negative emotions are hidden deep inside and she's constantly checking for cracks in her flawless mask. And if some one should ask? Yea, she's totally fine. You didn't see a thing.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Green hazel but to look at them they look more of an almost stormy grey. They seem to change color with her moods, seeming either more blue/grey/green depending. Large and expressive.
Hair: See reference for style. Color is moonlight white, a silvery white that almost glows in bright light at night. Not that it does but it's just super shiney white.
Face: Round and very baby faced, makes her look younger then she is. =
Clothes: If it's comfortable she'll wear it, fashion be damned. She does try to match colors so nothing clashes at least. Usual outfit can be seen in the ref, though she tends to wear black flats since they show less dirt. Shirt should have a silohuetted galaxy rabbit on it in stead of words. Also has a tattoo of the
Shiekah Symbol on her shoulder (in place of the one in the ref) in a bright blue (as she isn't fond of the red). Bracelet is
lavender jadeite, instead of greed jadeite. glasses should match the color of her bracelet.
