Noemi's place among the trainee's kind of seem misplaced as she looked around. It wasn't often that mist hunters were called out to the field to practice battle skills but she wasn't NOT accustomed to fighting by now.
Even if she spent more of her time in the infirmary, there was no reason that she wouldn't be able to fight too. Plus she was kind of rusty and that was no good for the Milo dubbed Blue ranger!
She took a deep breath, clutching her trident close to her body and looking around. "E...Excuse me!" She waved a bit to a lightly hair colored youth, her face blushing a bit as she came closer. "Would...would you like to spar?" She hoped he didn't mind that she was a intermediate hunter either!

Not at all certain where he would be willing good fit along his peers, Henry had started hitting the training field hard and often. If hedidn't have anything else to offer up at the moment, at the very least he could be a good soldier and handle himself in a battle. So far, his efforts seemed to be paying off, he had lost a few, but he'd also won, and not just by the skin of his teeth. Of course, it remained to be seen if his new found confidence in combat would translate in an actual fight. Still. He blinked as another trainee wandered over to him and asked to spar, head tilting as he spyed the swirling designs on her coat. Another Mist, but not one he'd seen before. "Hi!" He was happy to see more people from his division, though. "I'm Henry, and sure."

"I..I'm Noemi!" The girl offered her hand, and then showed off her trident. "This is Melusine! We're intermediate mist hunter trainees." She took a deep breath.
"Have you been in the mist division long?" She hadn't seen as many mist trainee's, especially since she spent most of her time in the Life labs or Moon wards learning to heal and provide medical relief.
That and her trips at the outpost had been super long.

Henry took her offered hand, shaking it. "I'm Henry," he introduced, then summoned Niceven, grinning brightly. "This is Nicky. We, er I? Uh. I'm just a trainee. I've been here for a maybe a year and a half now? I don't really know, it's hard to keep track." He ran his fingers carefully along the bladed edge of one star point. "And you? You've been here a while, then?" Maybe not here, since he couldn't recall having ever seen her around, and not in the Mist meetings. Off island somewhere, maybe another base?

Noemi nodded again, blushing as he spoke. "I am from the island! I was here....for a long time. 4 years ago...." She paused, "But I was off island for the last year....in Canada's base."
She studied his weapon. "Hello to you too Nicky!" He was moving to prepare for battle so she did the same.
"I...I also..um...Work in the infirmary!"

Henry blinked. "Like as a nurse or a doctor?" He really hadn't had to pay the infirmary many visits yet, which was all luck, really. At least up.to this point. "Cause that's pretty awesome! I only know a little first aid, but I've never had to apply it before, I don't know that I'd be able to." The last time the s**t had really hit the fan, Henry had sort of frozen up. It'd been kind of embarrassing. But that was part of why he was out here, training. He didn't want that to happen again, and he wanted to be able to help people, and protect his friends. His initial attack did nothing to show the progression he thought he'd been making. Darting in, he tried to take a swipe at Noemi with the spiked on his star, but missed completely. It wasn't every day that Henry met someone as shy or unsure of themselves as he was most of the time, and t was a little surreal for him. He blinked up at the woman as she stuttered, head tilting a little in surprise before he grinned brightly at her. "I'm sure you're you're a great nurse!" She was an intermediate, so she had to have had a lot of practice! Logic. But this was a spar, so they were going to have to start actually hitting each other. Planting his feet, Henry rotated his upper body like he was getting ready to throw a frisbee, but it was Niceven he sent spinning through the air at the other hunter. HP: 40 DMG: 6 CHG: 1/3
