Caliban puffed and tried not to inhale another breath of icy-cold air, but it was no use. The cold air invaded his esophagus against his wishes, and he felt like cursing. Destiny City had gotten cold. TOO cold. It was not supposed to be like this. Snow? Sure. Some cold temperature? Sure. Ice? Going below 0 degrees way into the negatives? No. Nononononono. He grudgingly trudged around on patrol, wishing that he had some sort of coat to summon when the weather became this ridiculous. He almost wished he could blame it on the Negaverse. Though, if they were the ones promoting global climate change, that would explain everything and mean he could blame this weather on them. Which gave him even more reason to try and stop it. He sighed. Luckily, the magic that apparently came with powering up helped him stay warm with stuff like this, though it still felt like a good 40-something degrees. He just wasn't turning red and losing his fingers. Yet. He was so busy being annoyed by the cold, that he didn't even sense the aura of a senshi nearby that seemed to be coming towards him.

Xenia was pretty sure they were too far south for it to be this cold. Except, of course, it obviously was that cold, no matter how much she wanted it to not be. So she was out powered up, and she'd even gone the extra mile and tossed on a scarf and a sweater because she was warm enough as a Senshi, but it was a lot better when she had just a little extra layering. Sure, the poofy sleeves of her fuku made the shoulders of her sweater puff out ridiculously, but she could handle looking stupoid if she was, at least, not freezing.
She could feel another Order aura, and she wandered to it casually, because it would at least be nice to find someone to pass the time with - better than being out in the bitter cold all alone. Pretty much anything, she figured, was better than being uot in the cold all alone.
She spotted him, finally, a Senshi she'd never seen before (not too much of a suprise, there were a lot she didn't know), and she jogged up, waving.
"Hey!" Xenia called as a greeting, fairly bright and cheery even given the awful weather. "How are you doing? Not too cold, I hope?" She probably sounded like her mom, fussing over some stranger, but honestly, it was cold as all get out and she was worried about pretty much anybody who was gonna be walking around in this weather, especially since as far as she could tell he didn't have any extra layers at all.

Caliban barely heard the other senshi as she called out to him, but eventually, in a fleeting moment of not feeling like he was going to have to move to the tropics, he felt the other's aura, and suddenly noticed that she was there. He almost jumped in surprise, but managed to catch himself. After all, he couldn't expend too much energy getting surprised, he had to use all of it to keep warm! He sighed, looking at her, almost glaring since she asked such a silly question. Seriously? Not too cold? What rock has she been living under. "Uh, I'm okay. Not the warmest, but I'm okay." And now that he answered her question it would be time to go home right? This had been a bad idea from the start, and now he just wanted to go back and put on some sweats and a hoodie. He sighed, starting to turn around to head back to his apartment. "Look, girl. I have to get going. It's just way too cold to actually have a conversation tonight, so no time for conversation." Especially with a basic who probably wouldn't be able to help anyway. He wasn't thinking like he usually did, but it was too cold. Just too darn cold. Xenia frowned. Here she was, trying to be as nice as possible, and apparently she'd run into the Grinch on his way to steal Christmas. Or, well, okay, it was a little late for that, but....whatever. She liked the comparison and no one else had heard it, so it didn't matter that it was dumb and not timely at all.
She crossed her arms in front of herself, eyes narrowing just a little. She wasn't usually in the habit of, like, hitting people just for being jerks, but this dude was a lot of jerk. She was also not fond of being called girl in the kind of mocking, condesecending way that suggested it was something that made her...less. Like she was too young to be treated seriously.
"Are you normally this much of a jerk?" She asked. "Or is it too cold to like, be nice to people?" Part of her kind of wanted to hit him, because wow, she really really did not like being condescended to. It was dumb, and she really shouldn't do it, but it wasn't like she had to worry about people order side liking her. She was going to join the Negaverse as soon as she could anyway.
So she gave into the urge.
"Leanr to be nicer to people that are just trying to be nice to you," she said, and she drew back her fist, and threw a punch at his gut without so much as a hint of warning, and then she shoved past him to stomp off.

In a moment of clarity, when Caliban could actually try and think about things, he actually realized that he was being quite awful. He sighed, turned around towards her, and was about to apologize, when he felt a fist land squarely in his stomach. He gasped and let out a 's***!' as he fell to the ground on his knees, trying to catch his breath as the air suddenly went out of his lungs, and refused to go back in. He watched as she stomped past him and off, and he figured that it was definitely time to turn in. And next time, he would go and take a hoodie or something with him. This weather was just crazy, and it definitely made him more cranky. Even the aurora crud couldn't make him this cranky, and he was freaking tired then! But apparently get him cold and his personality got as cold as the air surrounding them. It took a few more moments to finally be able to breath correctly again, and he went back in the direction of his apartment, and powered down once he was sure she was no where near him. He did not want that girl to know what he looked like as a civilian! Noir Songbird Awesome! Love these quick rps and thank you so much!
