Who: Holle, Nina, Alexa, Zale When: Mid-afternoon Where: A craft store Weather: Sunny, but quite cold.

Holle squeezed Nina's arm tight and buried her head into the woman's shoulder, shivering hard enough to even cause the brunette to shake. She looked to the Frei apologetically and then clicked her tongue in annoyance. Nina wasn't one to let unfortunate circumstances receive her ire, but despite all of the preparation, Noah still got lost on his way to pick both of the Swans up. If it was just herself, she'd dismiss the man's apologies with a wave of her hand, but poor Holle was suffering from the cold. She simply didn't have the strength to brave the elements.
Changing her thoughts from cursing Noah to seeking out someplace warm, Nina gently led the Frei to a nearby crafts store located across the street from where they waited. Once through the door, the waft of warmth that hit them both was almost staggering. Nina shut the door quickly to keep the cold out, then hovered by the entrance as Holle released her arm and let out a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry about all of this, sweetie. I'm definitely going to give Noah a piece of my mind when he finally gets here."
"Oh, mama, please don't yell at Noah!" Holle cried. "Noah didn't do anything wrong!"
Nina sighed. Conveying her anger was for the Frei's sake was a tad difficult when Holle thought Noah did no wrong. Instead, she said, "I'm going to go take a look around. Maybe he's waiting for us a block ahead or something. Stay here, okay, sweetie? " Nina glanced about. "Look around if you'd like, but remember—"
"Look, but don't touch?"
"And?"
Holle puffed out her bottom lip. "...Don't buy anything without asking first," she mumbled.
"Good girl," Nina said. "I'll be gone just a bit, okay?"
Holle's attention was already diverted. "Okay, mama, okay," she said, receiving a small head shake from Nina before she exited to the cold once again.
Amethyst eyes took in the store with a sparkle of curiosity. Nina had let her get creative with construction paper and markers before, but never before had she gazed upon so many things that inspired the artist in her. She floated forward and studied the materials in a mystified way; fingertips tingly with a desire to grab.
Oh, mama said I can't! she thought. But, but, but I really want to!

While it had been a short shift for today, it almost felt like a millennia. The foot traffic had been unbearably slow, even for a weekday, and despite the sunny and bright day outside the management had decided to put Alexa on the registers in front of the large windows viewing the parking lot. Her eyes were sore and her skin itched, but at least the work day was over. While waiting for Zale to return, the woman had busied herself with wandering the store for potential crafts to keep herself buys whilst at home.
At first, upon catching sight of Holle, Alexa pulled down her tinted sunglasses to make sure she hadn't been imagining things, and indeed, she hadn't: there before her floated a Raevan! The poor girl had been pretty sheltered for most of her life, and while she'd seen pictures and heard of them, she'd never met one in person -- and yet, here one was!
"Excuse me..." she called out, taking off her glasses entirely while taking a tentative step forward. Her voice had come out far more timid than she intended, but Alexa wanted to tone down the excitement she felt bubbling in her stomach. Holding her hands together before her stomach, the white haired girl couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. "I'm terribly sorry to bother you, but... you're the first Raevan I've ever encountered, and I wanted to tell you how beautiful you are!"

Holle fought her internal dilemma for but another moment before a small voice inquired her way. Turning, the Frei expected typical customer service questions, and prepared to repeat her mother's distance message of, "No, I'm all right. Just looking around." But then, she was completely unprepared for the sudden comment.
Mirth sprouted like a blossom in her chest, and the tingly feeling to her fingertips grew worse. Holle cupped her cheeks to hold onto something, and it was only then she was aware they they were hot. Was... was she blushing? Oh, but this was too embarrassing!
"Th-th...tha-than... Thank you!" Holle burbled. "N-no one has ever told me that before... I-I mean, my mama said I was pretty, but she's my mama and she can say things like that, but someone I don't know has never said anything like that andandand... T-thank you!"

Holle's innocent reaction brought a rosy tint to Alexa's face as well, the spread of joy in her own chest enticing a gentle laugh. She clasped her hands before her chest and her shoulders met her ears as she beamed over at the Raevan. "Goodness! I'm so glad I could be the first, then, since you're the first Raevan I've met! You're so very welcome!" The woman gave her new companion a warm smile as she habitually extended her hand in greeting. "It's such a pleasure to meet you! I'm Alexa! I just got out of work so I'm free to roam with you if you'd like!"

Holle clutched her cheeks and swayed back and forth, her blush growing intensely. "And I'm also the first Raevan you've ever met? And being called pretty? W-wha-what an honor!" she cried mirthfully. "It's nice to meet you, Alexa!" A beat went by before the Frei realized she should shake the other's hand, and did so dutifully. Maybe a little too forcefully, actually, as her happiness seemed to spread to her limbs.
The chance to wander and walk seemed a fine offer, but the Frei glanced over her shoulder to the store's door and then to Alexa. "I-I would but..." The Frei thinned her lips. "My mama said I have to stay here. I'm sure she'll be back soon... Oh! But if you mean wander the store, sure! I would love to!"

The more Holle became flustered, the rosier Alexa's cheeks became as she smiled harder with each passing moment. Her over excited handshake had the woman laugh happily and she tried to return with equal energy. "My goodness! It's just the truth!" she practically sang, already in love with the Frei's aura.
"Well, what's this?" a voice called from the end of the isle, coming from a man clad in a nicely tailored, tan suit. He was tall and lithe, and he walked elegantly towards the two. "Have you found a friend, Alexa?"
"Oh, Zale! I was wondering when you'd show up!" the woman in blue chimed happily, beaming as she made eye contact. With her hand still connected to the Raevan's, she passed it over for the elf to take from her, and he did so dutifully. "Holle, this is Zale! He's my butler! He's very nice, so don't worry!"
As soon as the girl's hand was within his, Zale pulled it up towards his face as he bowed, planting a soft kiss upon her knuckles. He smiled while pulling away, giving her a pleasant nod. "What an absolute treasure you are, Miss Holle. You grace me today."

"Oh, oh well, y-you're absolutely pretty as well!" Holle shot back, shaking little fists vehemently. "You're so pretty, you, uh, you—"
The Frei quieted come another voice, and she turned her head in the direction of an unknown man approaching them. She suddenly felt inclined to have him support her argument of Alexa's loveliness, but her voice caught her throat; forming it a little ball at the base. Her entire face was the color of a dark cherry, red all of the way up to her ears, that she couldn't even give the elf a proper greeting.
When her hand was released, it hovered between the two for just a moment, before Holle pulled it back to her as if she touched something dangerously hot. She was unsure of such a familiar gesture; was it proper? But she dashed away the notion when she realized wanted to win her little one-sided argument.
"Oh, no! Not you too!" she cried. "I-I appreciate it, but I think Alexa is much, much prettier, right? Right, Zale? Right?" Holle inclined her head to him, urging him to agree.
