Some nights were exciting, some nights were pretty boring. Tonight had been rather disappointing so far for the lieutenant. No one had really put up a fight, and a bored Harmotome was a worse one than usual. She dropped the thug she had just taken a starseed from, her lips curling in displeasure. The disgusted look disappeared though, as something new and promising popped onto her radar.
Oh, good. An order signature. Her lips pulled into a grin now as she started to head in the direction the signature was coming from. It was right at her level, which meant more of an even playing field...and well, since it was a power signature, it was already guaranteed to be more of a challenge!

Nereid's last two patrols had been a nightmare, if she was gonna be frank. Taste testing for fruit cake had been major mistakes and she shuddered just thinking about the high they gave.
And their major crash.
The blue haired senshi adjusted her gear, tightening so it didn't fall in combat and looked around. The prickly sensation of something sneaking up on her alerted her that their was a enemy moving this way and quickly.
Nereid took a deep breath and looked around. If they were going to initiate an encounter, she wanted to be in the open. That way the agent couldn't back her into a wall or anything!
Plus then she could use her magic.

Harmotome couldn't help but grin in anticipation. They weren't even going to try running, huh? Good. The lieutenant landed with a thud in the open space Nereid had secured, and scrutinized the senshi. "Vell, vell~" She drawled. "Look at vhat ve have here." Her grin widened. "This is how it goes: I am going to fight you. If you can not stop me from taking your star seed, it is mine! Simple, ya?" That was the only warning Nereid got before Harmotome rushed her, drawing a dark fist back in preparation to sock her.

Well.
That was one way to introduce oneself. Nereid didn't even get a chance to say much before the woman was launching at her with speed and power. "Whoa!" She just barely managed to move for the fist, falling back on her hands and then using them to propel back into a back flip away from the woman.
"That sounds like a simple enough game." Nereid breathed in, the effort from the backflip had been strenuous and this was the first agent that had straight out attacked her. They weren't like corrupt senshi at all.

"It is!" Harmotome replied, her grin splitting her face ear to ear as Nereid was making it more interesting for her. "Just do not bore me!" She kept the charge going, and instead of lunging at her with a punch, the lieutenant look to sweep her off her feet. Not like a prince charming, sadly. Harmotome spun on her heel once she was close enough, her body spinning in a round house kick.

Nereid also managed to avoid the leg sweep but it cost her the minute that Harm spun into a round house kick, connecting firmly with her ribs and sending her flying a bit to the side.
The air knocked out of her and she gasped trying to collect it again. The pain hurt so bad.
"Wow, ******** fast. Your speed stat is unreal." Nereid held up her hands, calling for her magic as quickly as she could. "Waterfalls Wall!*"Lucyal Waterfalls Wall! Nereid calls the name of her attack, and holds out her arms. A thick circle of 6 feet water appears over her intended target's head and then comes crashing down. It acts as a wall between the target and everyone else, and last for 25 seconds. Anyone in the circle of 6 feet cannot move outside of it until the attack is over, and vice versa, anyone outside the circle cannot force themselves in. She can use this attack twice.

"That is not the only thing that is unreal---" Harmotome was about to follow up and swoop down on her prey, but she unleashed some of that pesky senshi magic. She snarled as she was encircled by a rushing waterfall, and she immediately tested it out. The lieutenant snapped her hand back as the rushing water hurt. It felt more like a cement wall than one of water. "You are in for it once this bullshit is over!" She roared.

Well....WELL.
WELL. s**t. Nereid had trapped the powerhouse but she didn't have any kind of like back up plan to keep the lieutenant at bay. How was she suppose to keep the powerhouse from beating her to a pulp?
She struggled to breathe with the rib pain, pretty sure one was cracked and debated what to do.
Did she intimidate the woman? Find a weapon? Her gaze fell around the open field around them and settled on a medium sized rock. IF she could get one hit, she was going too.
"Okay. Okay. Come and get it." She beckoned to the lieutenant as the waterfall magic disappeared.

Harmotome spun in the direction of the voice, and if her glare was a laser beam, it'd be steaming that waterfall wall. As soon as the magic dropped, she was moving. The lieutenant lunged at the senshi again, one arm outstretched while the other was tucked behind her. She summoned her fork from Negaspace, and was ready to taint it with more Senshi cooties, according to Pyrophanite. As she ran towards Nereid, she flung her arm forward and chucked her fork at the senshi.

The fork totally hit her but didn't like stick in her or anything. She threw the rock in return, aiming at the woman's shoulder or like....chest area.
"You threw a fork at me!" She blinked as she looked the spot it hit, with deep red indents. She was not...SHE was not digging this pain that was going on.
As Harmtome drew closer Nereid brought her fist back to aim at the woman.

Nereid had no skill, and thanks to the boosts given to her by chaos, it was with ease that the lieutenant dodged the rock. She noted the senshi pulling her fist back, and grinned. Whatever she thought she could deliver, Harmotome wasn't worried in the slightest. She'd take that pathetic hit, and trade Nereid for one of her own. One that was better. She pulled her own fist back, and once she was right up to the senshi, Harmotome slugged her fist into the other girl's gut as hard as she could.

Nereid did get a pathetic hit in and she was returned with a punch to her gut. Her ribs already ached and now....NOW?
She couldn't catch a breath, and stumbled to the ground. She wanted to try to get one more hit in but....her body responding with a lot of no's. So much no's.
She brought her leg up to push the woman away.

" Disappointing." Harmotome sneered. It was with casual nonchalance that she caught Nereid's leg, and her hands wrapped around the girl's ankle. The lieutenant whipped the senshi around in a tight 360 turn, and then flung her at the nearest light post. Right after, she started to stalk towards the girl. Not too quickly! At an easy swagger. She briefly contemplated letting the senshi go to get stronger...or, hm. Maybe she could beat her a** a little more just to make her stew, and then let her go? Snagging a star seed right now just seemed like such a let down when she didn't even have to fight much for it! The lieutenant hummed over her choices as she moved towards the girl.

Nereid didn't know how to breathe. Her ankle was grabbed and she did her best to fight the lieutenant. She was literally lifted up from the ground and thrown into a light post, the fixture bending from the impact.
She could hear the crack of her bones as she hit and fell to the ground. Blackness started settling around her vision and she knew this was it. If she fainted her, she wouldn't keep her starseed.
This boss battle was way to strong for her and she just couldn't do it.
"No..no." She breathed out as Harmotome took her time before calling her magic one more time. "Waterfalls Wall!" The senshi waited till the magic hit and used every second to get herself away from the woman.
Once she was away, and near a group of people in the city, she powered down and blended in. There was a call to lyft and a very immediate trip to the urgent care as she held her body from the immense pain.

Harmotome was snapped out of her thoughts by the sound of the senshi calling her magic attack. "No!" She snarled, and tried to lunge before she cast the spell, but it was too late. A series of curses in her native tongue left her lips as the wall of water surrounded her again. She could feel the signature getting away, and by the time she was free, it was gone. She would remember that cowardly senshi.
