    "No."
It was her final word. the word that meant to turn around, leave, and not come back. You were rejected, done, and unable to continue. You were so close, only to be turned away at what felt like the last moment. You could strike at her, you could argue, you could try to turn that 'no' into yes.
But Ka'tija's word was final. You were NOT getting that stone. End of story, thank you, come again.
Blind eyes scanned the room momentarily. Snapping her fingers, the door that led down into the storeroom shut, locked, locked again, and was then sealed by another door covered in wards. Without considerable magic, or her own hand, no one was getting in. The same was done to the entrance to the place. Her home, her business. Sealed by roots with runes and enchantments carves discreetly into them.
Not too far out, she made her way down a well-travelled path. Feet found the way, ears listened for anything incoming, and her affinity towards auras helped with finding the plants she needed along the way. A few here, a few there, a small detour towards a large patch of something vibrantly purple...
It was a nice walk, at least.

x Amalasuintha was enjoying a much-needed break. After spending months poured over books in her first semester of college, she was mentally tired. She was more than happy to start her vacation walking through a nearby forest. The femme didn't even care how far in she went. Ama was sure she'd be able to find her way back to civilization when it was time to head home. Or maybe she'd spend her whole break in the woods. Her dad would understand... As long as she made sure to warn him of her intent. Ama made a mental note to do so as she marked her sixth hour amongst nature. She shifted the bag on her back before her ears picked up the sound too similar to jewelry and clothes shifting. She debated on finding the stranger (presumedly a fellow nature lover) or continuing on her way by herself. It might be nice to talk to someone about something other than classes, Ama decided. She turned the way of the noise and went to make a new friend... Hopefully.

With her thoughts drifting in and out of the day's events, it was far too easy for her to doze off. Even in the midst of gathering petals from the vibrant purple flowers. With little to no breeze, the forest speaking in whispers to her, Ka'tija felt wholly at home and at peace. These were the times that she could feel the forest. Feel the animals. Feel the...
Disturbance?
Ears perked up at the sound of someone rustling around nearby. At this time, younger students should be in school, and her young son knew better than to come home early. And anyone else...well, they would have made an appointment and she would have already recognized their footsteps' sound. Though in no way actually alarmed, she was curious, but not enough to get up and look for herself. The clearing was easy enough to find, and anyone entering it would be greeted appropriately.

x Within moments Amalasuntha found herself in a clearing with beautiful purple flowers. She took a moment to take in the wonderful feeling of the sun's presence before looking for the source of the noise she had followed. Near where she had entered crouched someone with long maroon hair. Ama watched as the stranger picked the petals from the flowers. She felt a pang to see the color be removed from even a small part of the field. But as someone who made use of plants for potions and charms, Ama knew ingredients came in all forms. Just because something was pretty didn't mean it wasn't also useful. Her curiosity piqued, the flower petals provided a perfect conversation opening. "Hello," Amalasuntha called out to the stranger. "I hope I'm not disturbing you but I can't help but be curious about those petals you are picking. Do they have a special use?"
