At long last, your Holiday shopping is complete! Every last person is checked off the list, and you have time to spare. Maybe you deserve something a little extra special, too? Or is there someone you suddenly remembered? Are you just imagining that you’re done? What if you actually haven’t gotten everything finished? This time of year is always so stressful—how are you handling shopping at all?

Deme had been out all day. Running from mall to mall. From store to store. All in search of the perfect Christmas gifts. Since he had so many people to shop for. First there was his family which was a rather small list. His mother who he bought a Christmas or well office warming gift. Since she had gotten a promotion at her newspaper so he bought her a special desk organizer for each of the people she over saw. Since all he ever remembered her saying is how hard it was just everyone dumping their files on her desk. Then his dad which was a super rare baseball card he had found the first edition for at the card store near his campus. His family dog a new star wars black collar with white letters and a light saber hanging from the tag area. oh and a giant dog stocking from the pet store. Every pet deserved Christmas gifts after all. He had bought drew a pass to the new museum exhibit for Egypt, a concert ticket for him to take a break, and last but not least a shirt for that concert. Since if they were gunna go have fun, they were going all out.

It was his best friend and he knew he needed a break. Even if his friend didn't know it and he hoped he liked it. Plus he thought it might be tons of fun! They hadn't really had any adventures or normal fun in a really time so it was much over due. It definitely wasn't right for best friends not to have some fun after all! At least not in his mind anyways and that's the only mind he normally followed.

The last people he had to shop for was his baseball team. a total of sixteen people. now they all wanted or needed different things. Like one wanted a new bat and not just any bat but one you could only get at one store across town they were all individual. Each one unique and signed. That was the team co-captain and he deserved it. Since without him they never would have won that championship. the other all wanted things like baseball caps, concert shirts, new cleats, some socks, and even gloves. he made sure to get every last one of them since being the team captain it was his job to take care of them and he planned to do just that.

As he was buying the last gift - he saw something. a telescope. a model he had never seen before. it looked beautiful and the sign said it could see more stars and constellations than anyone before it. That it was beyond its time. He looked into his wallet. somehow he had just enough left. he had never done something like this before, but he couldn't help it. As he walked into the store door he heard the bell chime and he was ready to make to make that scope his. Early Merry Christmas to him!
