The Topic Role Play forum will also have a topic dedicated to this as well, but I think this topic, and discord will be a much more efficient method. Lastly, I'd like to clarify some posting rules in our guild. You cannot post in this main sub forum. That is reserved for crew members. You may ask for permission of course if it is guild related, though it will be temporary and eventually moved to the Archives. Also the one place you may post topics freely is in the Şcream ℉orum! This hidden gem, is your little home. It feels wrong to call it a gem, its more like a burnt marshmallow than anything else. Please sit down at one of our tables and introduce yourself! If you have read this include something terribly silly in your introduction post.
*Discord is a proprietary freeware VoIP application. In other words we can type and speak to each other using this app in browser, or on your computer as long as you have internet connection. It is our main form of communication outside of gaiaonline. I highly recommend you get it if you do not have it. Also I don't have any financial relation to discord, I just love the app.

FAQ
(1) What systems do we have in the guild? Is it tedious? - NO! Our main system is just a post count system! As you post in the guild, both in the Role-play and in OOC, your character levels up! If you have less than 100 posts you are level 0, if you have 100 to 199 posts you are level 1, and if you have 200 to 299 you are level 2, up to level 3! Once you have 300 posts your character has maxed out on their power. Its that simple. Combat is purely based on needing to be a certain level to beat a Grimm. If a Grimm is level 1, you need to be level 1 to beat it. Nothing else. When you team up you can add your levels together to beat higher level Grimm that you could not otherwise defeat! Our system is simple, but gives you incentive to post and be active in the guild and join/create a team!
(2) Well what about multiple characters? I only have one post count, how does this work? - You can have multiple characters, but you have to specify their post counts that you have dedicated to that character, not only in your profile, but in your post apparatus. You do not need to constantly update it, but you cannot all of the sudden boost up a RPC before a fight. You must increase your character's post count at least 3 posts away from the beginning of a fight. In general you'll want to show your level on your post apparatus, so this isn't much of a big deal!
(3) I also see a quest system, how does that work? - We will have a quest board for the guild. Typically you must have a team of 4 to actually take up a quest. These quests don't grant money that you have to have a mod approve of to place on your profile, or anything complex. You simply go on any quest you can and complete it! You get small perks and bonuses for some quests. Like graduating with honors from beacon academy if you complete a quest for each year (4 quests). What are the other incentives? Well that leads us into the next question.
(4) What is the plot? I missed it. - The plot is that Grimm have overtaken the world. Vale has been cut off from the other kingdoms and is now in a struggle against the wild grimm to reforge a path to the other kingdoms. Currently we are trying to UNLOCK Atlas! In order to do that we must complete 10 professional level quests. Each of these quests involving Grimm. There are also bandits who don't want Vale to succeed. They often attempt to foil quests from being successfully completed. At the end of the 10 quests we will have a boss fight.
(5) Where can I start? - Everyone will start at beacon for now! When people start to graduate we will open up the possibility to join the military, or bandit group!
(6) Where can I get more details about how combat works? - We have "two" combat systems. Pretty simple though, one is just a dueling system for those who want the public to judge who Role-played better, and the other one is as I described above: Read: RWBY: Ūnique ℞ules & Şystэms
(7) How does death work in NARxRWBY? - This issue is rather trivial to most of you, but some of you are well acquainted with the classic RWBY debate on whether or not human and faunus become dust when they die, or just a rotting corpse like in real life. The crew has carefully analyzed RWBY canon materials and have decided to implement a hybrid system for this. We do generally like corpses getting dusted, but haven't found enough evidence to support that side fully. The hybrid system will be that A. bodies full of aura upon death will become a rotting corpse, this corpse will slowly turn to dust, but rot fairly normally for days [This will not be useable dust] and B. Bodies with little to no aura will insta-dust upon death. Lastly, C., bodies that are destroyed through high aura abilities will also insta-dust. This is the ruling the guild crew had voted on. Now, this may prove wrong in the RWBY series, but if it does this ruling will stand until otherwise notified.

narxfang I'm way excited too! Already had our first natural person join us which is cool. Soon we'll visit all other RWBY guilds and suck away their players to our much better designed and handcrafted guild! xD Makes me feel so evil, but good xD
