They would not see humans as equals.
Against the odds, they fought. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Upon arriving at the front gate of the estate Guan halted before looking to the two males on his back giving them a tired smile and then to the small sparrow that was in fact Honey. The mission to rescue them was complete with minor injuries though he still had to face Eros, which he dreaded for that man has quite the temper for a shy stallion. Looking away from the pair and to the estate.
"This will be your new home now, as for you Prince Yamaki... welcome home. Your father will be overjoyed to see his darling son again. You both are in the best hands, Yusuke Yamaki would never treat you like that filthy mongrel did.. you have my word."
Guan stated as he gently helped the two down as he winced in the process, but once they were safely off his back he looked to the sparrow using a small amount of his healing winds to repair the shoulder so Yusuke wouldn't flip out.
"With that I must return to the stables and rest. As well as get a lecture from my second in command...take care you two."
Guan turned around and heads for the stables to recover from todays battle. With each step he took he limped as he held up his front left leg making the walk quite slow. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ The humans rose to crush them.

Honey transformed back into.his self, thanking Guan for healing him, before watching him walk away. He did not envy Guan right then. Eros was a worrier at best and a mother hen at first. He was going to be postal when he found out his Commander was hurt. He was ridiculously protective of the other centaur. And the lecture that would accompany the scolding. No. Not envy him.at all. He shook his head before turning to the two. "Come along, you two. Lord Yamaki is waiting for you." he said to them gently.and softly, gently.pushikg them through the gates and to Yusuke inside.

hope for tomorrow."  As Honey pushed them through the gates Yusuke was standing outside waiting for them as he looked right at his son as his golden hues well up and tears of crimson role down his pale face, he was so overjoyed to see his son after so many years. In his hands he held a crimson robe that was neatly folded and on top of the robe was Lord Shou's sword that he held onto until the Sukikyo heir had returned. He bore a truly happy smile that he almost forgot he had.
"Shou.... Souken, welcome home... you two have been missing for some time and it brings me great happiness that you have come back to where you truly belong... if only Edenia and Lord and Lady Sukikyo were here to see how much you two have grown. Shou, I bare no ill will for what happened, you had no choice... I am truly sorry you had to suffer because of that filthy mongrel. You are safe here, no one will hurt you here, That I promise you. Here, these belong to you..."
Yusuke stated as he held out the robe and sword to Shou hoping that he would accept his gift that were originally from his parents. He managed to salvage the crimson robe from the ruins of Sukikyo palace that was nothing but rubble. It hurt him greatly to visit that place, seeing it destroyed and nothing but rubble. He would have to discuss about rebuilding Sukiyo palace at the next council meeting, but for now he focused on his son and Shou, they were top priority at the moment. "The important thing

Honey stood away several feet and just watched, happy and ecstatic that Yusuke had Souken as well as Shou. He leaned back against the wall.as he watched the scene, feeling slightly tired from the fight. Guan healed his shoulder but it still hurt and he tried not to wince when he moved it. He didn't want Yusuke to worry about him. Not when Souken needed him so much more. "Lord Yusuke...should I leave? " he asked quietly as he continued to watch the scene before him. Somehow, he felt like he was intruding on something he should not be. It was an odd feeling.

A light shining beyond that, only your smile is ◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎It was slow moving but eventually they came to a familiar sight and Shou felt relief just wash over him. It had been too long since he had seen the welcoming walls of the Yamaki Estate only this time he wasn't seeing it tinted with red but its true color. It was a sight he wasn't sure he would ever see again but it also made him wary. With that feeling in mind he looked to Souken, whom he was extremely worried about, half expecting him to run off the minute Shou let go. However he was pulled from his thoughts at the sound of Guan's voice and he nodded in response, though on the inside he wasn't quite ready to trust these people just yet. It was at this point he slid off of Guan's back with a little help from the centaur since in his relief he was starting to feel his exhaustion weighing down on him. He then helped Souken down and held him, so he wouldn't panic and run off. He then blinked when the sparrow that had been riding with them transformed into a human but just shook it off, after all they were all supernatural in some way shape or form. However he did not appreciate being pushed through the gates as Guan limped off and was about to say something to the person but stopped when he heard a familiar voice. He then turned and froze in place, fear and guilt rushing over him at the sight of the male before him. However when he saw tears streaming down the older male's face and a smile so full of joy his tension waned some. He then relaxed more at Yusuke's words but his heart did sink some, this wasn't truly his home, his home was rubble but he had come to terms with that years ago. At the mention of his parents his eyes filled with a deep sadness and he sighed, that was still a sore spot for him and he wasn't sure he would ever get over it. It was at this point he saw what Yusuke was holding and a different feeling washed over him, he knew that sword and kimono all to well and was honestly surprised both had survived the attack. He took both items from Yusuke and a small but rare smile graced his features, the familiar weight of the blade and the feel of the fabric in his hands brought him a sense of completion that he hadn't felt in some time and he was overjoyed. "Thank you," Shou thanked Yusuke and his smile widened some.◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎Overflowing with the warm emotions I clung to

Yusuke watched shou take the items from his hands, seeing that smile on the males face made him happy but he could see the sadness in Shou's eyes which in turn made Yusuke slightly sad. He knew all too well that this wasn't Shou's true home but he will do something to bring Shou some sort of closure, for he knew Shou needed it. Yusuke reached out placing a hand on Shou's shoulder with a sense of reassurance as the male smiled.
"Shou, I am aware this is not your true home, but I fully intend to discuss arrangements to have Sukikyo Palace restored to its former glory at the next council meeting. We will make sure that you have closure once it is rebuilt. In the meantime, you are more than welcome to stay here, my son could use a bodyguard just in case the enemy tries to take him from me again. Don't worry, my men can be trusted for they'd never harm you or my son....though, I'd be wary around the Infrantry Commander, he's got the worlds worst temper and not to mention he is a bit bull headed."
Yusuke explained before pulling his hand back and took a step back before looking to Honey with a soft smile.
"No need to leave Honey, I am just glad to have my son back where he belongs and out of that pigs reach... I trust you will keep an eye on him when Shou is not able to? I'd rather not have a repeat of 13 years ago..."
Yusuke added as he turned to head inside the estate but not before taking out his flask and opened it taking a swig of it's contents. "The important thing

Honey blinked but had to fight back the blush that threatened to bloom on his face when Yusuke smiled at him. He didn't know when he had fallen for his friend but he had. He pushed the thoughts aside for now. It was not the time. He watched as Yusuke took a drink from the flask, a frown on his face but he wiped it away before turning to the two boys. "Would yoy like me to show you to your rooms?" he asked softly so as.not to spook them. He could tell that they were already tense and loud noises would probably.not be welcomed right now.

roll over" Souken looked to Shou then to the man talking, he was so confused. Who was this man? What was he going on about with restoring Shou's home? Souken was nervous as hell and he wanted to bolt right then and there but decided not to for Shou's sake. He jumped slightly when he heard the soft voice of the man's advisor which made him more curious about who this man was and why did he resemble the older man.
"I want Shou to stay with me... I don't like being alone... also, who is that guy that is talking to shou? My memory is hazy and I forgot who that man is.."
Souken uttered timidly as he clung to shou for dear life. Souken was nervous and knew nothing outside of the hell he lived in for the past thirteen years and his nervousness was making him ill to where he began to grow into a fit of coughs and gasping for air slightly as if having a panic attack right on the spot. Honey looked at Souken Sound when he asked that Shou stay with him. "Yes. He can stay with you. That is no problem." He said in the same soft, soothing coo e once he saw that the Yamaki heir was starting to get nervous. Damn. What had been done to the poor boy that made him so skittish and so afraid? He blinked when. Souken asked who Yusuke was. "Oh, that bas---!" he started but then stopped, took a deep breath and then calmed down. "That man is you father, Yusuke Yamaki." He replied to the question, vowing to kill thw shadow made whenever He saw him again. To make a sonmforget his own father...thefe were no words to describe how he felt about that. "Hey. Hey. Deep breaths, young one. It's okay. You're safe." He said, hoping his voice calmed Souken down a little.

My outlines are fading ╔═ ✧ ☽◯☾ ✧ ════════════════════════════════════════════════╗A faint whoosh was heard followed by the sound of metal hitting the ground, the flask that had once been in Yusuke's hand now on the ground with a knife stuck blade first in the dirt next to it. "Alcohol isn't good for you y'know," a cheerful voice rang out from behind them. As they turned they would spot a tall male with white hair and wine red eyes lounging idly on the wall, munching on a lollipop as he leaned against the fence. The male known as Zephon grinned and jumped down, landing perfectly on his feet and the remains of the lollipop hanging from his lips. "Honestly you never listen to me, it's my job to have the unhealthy habits not yours," Zephon teased as he walked over and pulled the knife out of the ground, spinning it idly in his fingers before returning it to his belt. Once done with that he turned to Yusuke and continued, "Also I noticed you have a few new guests, so you finally rescued them hmm? Guess that means our little plan has finally come to an end and I am free to return to the ranks of the Blue Rose, never thought I'd see the day. However I have one more thing to do." At that Zephon reached into his bag and pulled out a pendant before turning to Shou and Souken. "So the princes return, about time if you ask me. This is yours Souken, your mother would want you to have it, I was suppose to give it to you sooner but I never got the chance, here," Zephon stated and then placed the pendant in Souken's hand before backing away. He then grinned and finally greeted them properly, "With that done I can finally say welcome back both of you, but this time try not to disappear again, okay?"╚════════════════════════════════════════════════ ✧ ☽◯☾ ✧ ═╝The Days have turned into Night

hope for tomorrow." Yusuke blinked as he felt the flask being knocked out of his hand and fall onto the ground with a metal clank which caused yusuke to quickly turn to face the person responsible giving the male a dark glare before clicking his tongue in an annoyed manner.
"How many times must I say this, it's Bloodwine! Not nearly as potent as normal red wine... honestly, such worrywarts I have under my employ... I mean really!"
Yusuke stated with a cute pout before he turns his gaze to Souken as his golden hues widen as he watched his son have what appeared to be a panic attack. He soon rushed over to his son placing his cold hand over Souken's forhead and quickly pulled away.
"He's burning up... just what the hell happened to my son?! How did he become like this!? I demand to know!"
Yusuke shouted with worry in his tone after seeing his son in such a stated gritting his teeth exposing some of his fangs as he wondered how his son came to be in such a dreadful state thst he was currently in. "The important thing

Honey gave Zephon a look before shaking his head at his antics. Really? At a time like this. He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair which had fallen out of its custom braid and into waves, stopping at his waist. Ugh. He was going to have to wash it later. Along with the rest of him. Honey started when Yusuke got angry. "Lord Yamaki. It might be because he's been...well, I don't know but I do know that it had something to do with being held in captivity for so long..." He replied, calling Yusuke by his family name instead of his first while watching the scene before him. "Maybe Lunis can help with the fever. Is he not a potions master?" he added after a minute.

roll over"  Souken continued to cough as his whole body trembled when the male placed the pendant into his hand. Souken looked down at the trinket as he grips it tightly while trying to calm down which was easier said than done. Souken was put through utter hell in the past thirteen years, from experimentation to molestation and eventually rape. It was hard to talk about things like that and being malnurished didn't help matters either, Souken was almost starved to death.
Cue Flashback
Sitting in his cell with his knees curled to his chest as he could hear faint footsteps that grew louder as he looked up to see his captor stand outside his cell with a sickly sweet smile as the scientist opened the door and reached in gently pulling the boy from his cage. Souken was struggling as best as his young body allowed but Ordin had a firm grip on the boy.
"Oh little prince, the more you struggle... the more I want you... you cannot escape this fate, no matter where you run or hide... I'll find you and bring you back, you're mine little prince only my touch will satisfy your desires... who knows, you may grow to enjoy such pleasures my little prince. Mmmmm, your trembling excites me, let me see your body..."
After such depravity he was brought back to his cell with his clothes dishelved and tears streaming down his thin pale cheeks as he sits in the corner of his cell silently crying.
"Someone.... please save me!"
End Flashback
Souken continued to cough as tears well up and stream down his pale face as he clung to the only one who had been there for him all those years.
"Help.... me.... I need you..."
Souken pleaded as he wanted this pain and suffering to end as his coughing grew worse by the minute. "When the nights are long

The kimono had actually been his father's so he was overjoyed to have it in his possession but the implications behind it were what tortured him. He knew his father was gone, his home was gone, he had been told by those traitorous bastards, but seeing the kimono solidified that knowledge. At that he had to bite back tears as he tsked, clutching the fabric and sword tightly, he had failed his family and he would never be able to live that down. It was at this point he was torn from his musings at Yusuke's touch and words, only nodding in response. He then watched as Yusuke began to walk off and turned to the soft voice of the shape shifter that had helped them, nodding once more at the shifter's question before moving to follow. However when he heard a familiar timid voice finally speak up he turned to Souken and pulled him close as the younger male clung to him. However when he heard the familiar sound off coughing he attention was drawn to Souken completely instantly. He knelt down so that he was at eye level with Souken and gently began to run his fingers through Souken's hair as he hummed, the tune a familiar one to Souken since Shou had used it plenty of times to help him relax or sleep. However when the one known as Honey approached Shou was immediately on the defensive, moving so that he was in between Honey and Souken. It was at this point another joined the crew and Shou growled when the male approached but relaxed when he just handed over a pendant and backed away. Shou then startled when he heard Yusuke's shouting and faltered just enough for Yusuke to get close enough to touch Souken. Shou then sighed when Yusuke said that Souken was burning up and held the smaller male close. Shou then growled when Yusuke continued to yell and snapped, "SHUT THE ******** UP! Keep up your damn shouting and you're just gonna make it worse." At that Shou turned back to Souken and felt his heart clench at the sight of Souken's eyes full of fear, a sight he was all to familiar with. At Souken's plea Shou gently kissed Souken's forehead and wrapped his arms around the smaller male as he spoke to him softly, holding him in a comforting embrace, "I've got you Sou, just breath and I know you hate it but would you please just feed for once, you're just gonna get worse if you don't."◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎--------------◎Overflowing with the warm emotions I clung to
