It wasn't the first snow of winter, and it wouldn't the last, but this one was certainly different. Stepping out of the mall with Terry, they'd had some holiday shopping to do, Seung stopped just outside the doors to the mall. "Looks different..." He whispered, reaching out for the others hand while pointing up to the snow which was falling.
It wasn't heavy snow coming down nor was it big fluffy flakes but this snow was glistening...it looked like it wasn't even snow. Judging by the people around them who were staring he wasn't the only one seeing it either, people were even reaching out to touch this strange snow. As a flake hit his fingers he tilted his head. it melted, it was wet and cold...but it didn't look right.
"Looks wrong..." He whispered as he turned his eyes onto his husband, wondering what he thought of this. Both of them being knights it wasn't likely they'd think this such an innocent and romantic thing. This city and holidays, from what he knew, didn't have a good history and as nice as this looked he doubted it was innocent. "First sign of unusual winter holiday?" He questioned his husband in a whisper, not wanting others to hear them, as concerned eyes met his partners gaze.

Terry hadn't seen what Seung meant at first as he was focused on digging his hand into his pocket for his cell phone, but when the other man spoke up and took his hand he looked up. The falling snow was certainly beautiful but it didn't take much to figure out that yes, it indeed was different then the normal snow they would and should be getting. The brunette stopped going for his phone to copy Seung in holding out a hand to catch the glittering snow with a confused frown. "I think you are right. Hopefully the snow only has a cosmetic change and not any other surprises." He whispered back, eyes darting around to look at the other people around them.
It didn't look like anyone who had been out and about in the snow longer had anything wrong with them at least but that didn't mean anything. It was kind of sad that ever since he had powered up he had noticed something going wrong around the holidays and they couldn't even necessarily blame the Negaverse for it either. However, when he looked back over to Seung about to ask him a question, his brain promptly paused and his heart skipped a beat. Even with the snow being wrong, even with it not being romantic since it was wrong, he couldn't deny that seeing Seung in the diamond like sparkles made his heart soar high.

"Think so...at least now...so nothing immediate." That didn't mean there wasn't something which would happen in a few hours from now, who knew. This holidays didn't act normal here in this city. He'd never had this happen back home, and for a moment he had the thought or packaging Terry and his family up and moving them all to Korea, though some of these oddities were pretty or even mostly harmless. Turning orange, like some people did this past fall, were mostly harmless and just embarrassing but still - not normal.
Tilting his head a bit, a smile in place, he was glad Terry saw it also and it wasn't just him or just him and these people outside. It wasn't just a select group, at least it didn't seem like such. "Should we call home...maybe collect some?" He questioned, thinking about that page at the last knight meeting mentioning trying to look into these holiday problems. Maybe something could be found with this snow?
Turning his focus away from the snow and onto his partner, his breath catching in his throat for several moments. The lights, from the malls outdoor decorations, hit the snow just right and they sparkled as they landed in Terry's hair and onto his clothing. Swallowing he found his voice after several moments. ""Like the rain at wonder..." He whispered, his hold tightening on the others hand. "Should go...find the car..." Trailing off, slowly,too caught up really in staring at his partner.

"Just so long as it ends up being harmless, though there wouldn't be much we could do if it wasn't I suppose other then warn people to stay inside." Terry said with a sigh. Hopefully it wouldn't turn out like how some of the creatures had with getting people sick like the bats and bunnies of the not so distance past.
He gave a hum in thought at Seung's question, pondering over just what it was they should do. "I'm not sure we have anything that could collect it on hand but if we do it would be in the car. We could collect some and bring it to one of the cats?" Terry offered up, not sure what else they could do, though it was likely that the cats were investigating it already.
Oh. Oh he hadn't even made that connection yet as he had been too busy just staring at the love of his life in the sparkling drops but once it was whispered he could see it. Just the sparkle snow wouldn't leave welts and bruises when caught out in it like the diamond rain of his wonder. Still, he couldn't help but leave over and press a soft kiss to Seung's lips before he answered. "We probably should." He returned, though just as mesmerized.

"Mmm, we could send a text to Matthew and ask, maybe he can put something out to collect some in." As it was likely falling all around the city and not just here. He really was hoping this snow was harmless, it was so pretty. Something this nice should be harmless - it should be enjoyed. "Samples the cats might like..." He was sure they would like it and anything they could do to try and help he figured would be appreciated, even if they had other snow samples.
Warmth filling him at the press of lips against his own, he didn't even notice if people were looking or staring, Seung reached up to thread his fingers into the others hair and drew him in for one more gentle kiss. "Mmm, we should. It's cold out." He whispered against the others lips. "We can watch from home - where it's warm." And he did plan to watch it, even if it might be harmful...it was pleasing to watch. "Come on." Letting go of the others hair in order to head towards where they were parked.
"Warm drink and blankets on the couch when we get home." And maybe they could check the news as well.

"Alright, I'll send a message to him when we get into the car. He should be back home right now anyway." It was a good idea, they would have jars and such at home that could collect the snow without contamination from drink residue at least.
Terry wrapped his arms around Seung's middle and brushed another kiss to his lips with a hum in agreement. "Cuddled together under blankets while drinking hot cocoa and watching the snow fall sounds like a plan to me." He agreed with a smile as he followed his husband into the parking lot, pulling out the keys to the car and pressing the button so it would be unlocked when they got to it.

"Should tell him to let your parents know...so they don't go out in it." As he said this, and they were walking towards the car, he was reaching for his own phone in order to send a text to both his cousins letting them know. As nice as the snow looked he didn't trust it and didn't want them out in it. He figured both would listen, they'd understand. His younger cousin might even be able to keep his parents inside, that would be a very strange thing indeed. Though that was if they had the day off and were home to start with, which he hoped was the case.
Reaching the car he opened the drivers side door for Terry before going to a back door and opening it in order to set their purchases inside. "Think we finished in person shopping." He just had a few things online to order and he had his cousin in Japan who was going to pick him up a few things...though that wouldn't be till the first of the new year - he had plans.
Once his bags were in the car he headed to the passenger side and got in, buckling up once inside, he went to check his phone as his little cousin had texted back and let him know she'd keep inside and keep his parents inside - their jobs had given them the day off.
"Let's take it slow on the road."
