Jerami was deep into the work he was doing on another skirt for himself when he first heard the sounds that his kinfa was making. It was this low, displeased sound, one that he knew well because it was the sound that Bruin made when something wasn't to his liking. If there was something that Bruin didn't mind doing it was letting others know when he wasn't happy about something. It seemed as though today was one of those days. Lowering his in progress piece to his lap he looked from side to side, then toward the kinfa, "What is it, Bruin?" Surely he wasn't grumbling about Narcys again? No, he'd gotten used to the little glowing beast that was often times on Jerami's shoulder acting as a living, breathing light source. It had to be something else then.

Setting his project safely aside so as not to risk messing anything up he walked over to the kinfa, giving him a pat on the head, before he set to inspecting the area that the large bird was glaring at. Just before he was able to ask again what was wrong a pair of brightly color, glowing lizards went scattering to either side of the basket full of odds and ends cloth that he kept near his dresser. A squeak of surprise escaped from Jerami and instantly Bruin was puffing up, wings flapping, looking more then a little displeased. It seemed that between them being inside and them scaring Jerami the kinfa was ready to eat the little lizards that were now running around his room, seemingly having forgotten how they'd gotten into the room in the first place.

"I should probably deal with those." He mused, reaching up to pluck Narcys off his shoulder, setting the bright green lizard down on a book shelf before he moved to pursue the adorable little interlopers. Best that he caught the pair and sent them on their way before his family thought that he was adopting even more of the adorable lizards. While Jerami would love to have a whole horde of them he didn't know what his family would think about that. They were odd little things after all, they were quite bright at times, and they ate a lot in the way of insects and fruit. He already had to keep up with meals for Bruin and Narcys, he wasn't sure if he could cover the meals of another pair of lizards. Now if he could get help with the task from Drexl then maybe? At the same time though he didn't want to have to put the dark haired boy to work on something that should be Jerami's work.

Giving a little sigh he followed along after the little lizards, trying to keep up with them, and more importantly trying to make sure they didn't escape his room. Best that they stayed in here while he tried to catch them. Once he was able to do so he'd send them out the window and on their way, with his family none the wiser.

The little sitara really were fast, weren't they? Not to mention a bit smarter then they first looked. They were able to duck under short things, skitter passed him, climbed up and over things, and seemed to always be just out of reach. There was a part of him that kind of wanted to call out to Shima or Jhana for some help in securing the little beasts but he wasn't sure if they would even help him. Would they leave it to him? Would they tell their mothers to get their aid as well? Were either of his sisters afraid of lizards? He couldn't quite picture that as they were both tough, Shima especially. Either way he'd do his best to take care of the little lizards on his own.

As one of them went racing by he knelt down, hands out, and was able to catch hold of the little creature. There was a moment when it went stock still, the light on its tail getting brighter... and then it set to squirming and flailing. Not wanting to risk hurting the little thing Jerami did the only thing he could do, he let it go. The moment he did it race up his arm, down his side, and once back on the floor it ran off once more. Jerami stood there, eyes wide, before he gave a bit of a sighing sound, "Alright... time for attempt number two." He murmured to himself, moving along to continue chasing the little beasts. Hopefully the next time would work out a bit better for him.

After a bit of chasing the lizards around his room Jerami had to sit down, catching his breath while he tried to spot the pair. It was kind of impressive that despite the fact that they were glow in the dark beasts that they were able to get away from him so well. They had to be hiding under something or perhaps in something, it was the only way to explain how their lights were being suppressed at the moment. As he sat there scanning the room Bruiin set to stomping one clawed foot, as though he was trying to flush the little sitara out of hiding. Something that made him wonder for an idle moment how that would end. No well he'd guess as he didn't want to see the little guys get eaten just because Bruin was in a mood.

Pushing to his feet once more he walked over to the kinfa, giving him a pat on the head, "Shhh, it's alright. Don't make too much noise or someone is going to come see what's going on." He didn't want his family to come running because they thought he was in trouble due to all of the noise that Bruin was making. Especially since, before the sitara invasion, he was enjoying a simple sewing session. There was no reason for them to worry about him and he'd rather not have Bruin imply that there was.

Once he was able to calm the kinfa down, or at least as calm as Bruin ever got, he return to searching his room for the pair of sitara that weren't supposed to be inside. A short time later he stepped close to a set of shelves that he kept various knick knacks on and the pair went racing off from the bottom shelf, having been hidden among the things there until he got close. It was enough to draw another squeak from him before he once more gave chase. This time as he followed along after them he found himself wishing that Drexl was here. He was bigger, faster, more athletic. He bet that the big guy could catch both of the sitara at once, one in each hand, and send them out the window and back to wherever it was that they came from.

That was of course if he was even allowed to come into Jerami's room. The two of them were dating so it might not be something that his mothers would let fly, huh? Even if theirs was a pretty innocent relationship he was sure that his parents wouldn't let his boyfriend just come and go as he pleased. As such there was likely no asking Drexl for help when it came to the sitara. Not to mention that if he went out to find Drexl the lizards might get out of his room and start to invade other parts of the house. He didn't want them to get in trouble with his mothers, his Alkidike mother especially, so he shouldn't risk it. He just have to keep trying to catch them on his own for now.

Jerami gave a bit of a sighing sound, hands resting on his knees, trying to catch his breath. He'd gotten close, so very close, to catching the little sitara. At the same time as well! He'd scooped them up, juggled them a bit, and was able to catch them to his chest. From there he'd started toward the window in his room, eager to send the pair on their way... when both of them started to chirp in a rather loud manner that he was certain was going to get him in trouble with his mothers. He'd hesitated, his grip on them loosened ever so slightly, and then they were on the run again. It was to say the least, embarrassing. How was he letting them get the best of him? Should he give up trying to catch them by hand? Should he use his magic to capture the little beasts?

He didn't like wasting magical power that could be used for more important things but he was starting to think that it might be for the best. He could use a little wind spell to capture and eject them from the house. It would be easy and without risk of harming them in anyway. They were super cute and the last thing he wanted were to see the little critters harmed in anyway. All he wanted was to see them safely outside where he didn't want to worry about them anymore.

It was what he wanted to do but he was getting a bit exhausted from all the running about. Maybe he'd just let them hang out for a while and try to catch them again later or something.

Jerami had given up on capturing the sitara for a while, having gone back to his spot on the floor, sewing resuming. It wasn't as though they were hurting anything and even Bruin calmed down after a while, right? It didn't mean that he could let them come and go as they pleased but he really didn't want to keep chasing them. If he kept at it for too long there was always a chance that they would end up stressed out and that wasn't good for anyone. If anything he would just have to make the attempt from time to time to catch them but not chase them around too much. He wanted them to remain healthy even if that meant allowing them free run of his room for an undisclosed amount of time.

"I really do need to figure out a way to kick out your friends in a way that isn't mean, Narcys." He told the sitara that was sitting on his shoulder at the moment. While he was all well and good with Narcys he wasn't sure about the wild ones. What happened if he just let them do what they wanted? Wouldn't that mean that they would start to tell their friends? Next thing he knew his room was going to be taken over by hundreds of sitara because he was too nice to kick them out. Giving a little sigh he looked from side to side. He knew full well that he could be a bit of a push over. He was small, he was light weight, he was easy to get the upper hand on... and he was really, really nice on top of it. If it came down to it and he thought they would be safer he wouldn't kick the sitara out... and that meant that he'd end up with every sitara in Jauhar in his room.

Giving a rapid shake of his head he said, "I can't let them take over! My family wouldn't be happy." He had to figure out a way to keep them from invading. Maybe... maybe he could set up a feeder for them? He'd seen people do that for small birds before, it was a way to entertain themselves by feeding snacks to small birds. If he did that then he could see the sitara, feed the sitara, but keep them from bringing all their friends back into his room. Surely keeping a sitara feeder would be cheaper then trying to keep them all as pets since they would only snack at the feeder but still feed themselves in the wild as well.

Once the skirt was finished up he pushed up to his feet, draping the piece over the back of a chair, and headed out of his room. He'd see about setting something up now, maybe it would help to lure the two in his room back out through the window. And without having to running anymore then he already. Best to see if he could deal with the sitara issue in a peaceful manner.

It took a bit of doing on his part but he set up a little platform outside of his window to his room, something he hoped would help to lure out the sitara that were still playing around in his room. He could only hope that they weren't getting into trouble while he wasn't looking. He glanced around, noticing that they were watching what he was doing from the top of his set of shelves. He starred at them before he said, "It's for you guys. Snacks. You should come over and see." He hoped that they would actually come over and do so, it meant that he wouldn't have to try to catch them by hand again.

As he finished up the makeshift feeder he then set to filling it with food that he knew Narcys liked. It took but a moment before the green sitara abandoned his shoulder to skitter off to the feeder. He starred for a moment before sighing, "Narcys! You're not the one that is supposed to be going outside." The only thing that made up for his own pet rushing off to the feeder was that soon enough the other two followed his lead. Sighing again he murmured, "At least that worked." Not exactly how he'd thought it would since Narcys went outside too, but it still worked. He'd have to take it.

"When you're done eating you need to come back inside. Alone. I don't need those two coming back in and trying to take over again." He told Narcys, giving a shake of his head, then walked over to where a puffed up Bruin was sitting. Digging into his pocket he got a treat for the kinfa and said, "It's alright, Bruin. Shhh... you relax, I will do my best to keep them from coming back in I promise." A promise he hoped he'd be able to keep from here on out.
