Quote: Heavy snow had plagued Destiny City for a few days and it seemed to take ages for the clouds to clear. When they finally thinned, there was something more surprising than just the night sky: a glorious display of colorful light danced over Destiny City. A myriad of colors paint the sky, twisting colorfully. Auroras are uncommon in this area, but it’s something unique to see. Of course, ‘unique’ in Destiny City isn’t always a good thing… The snow around Destiny City the last few days had been insane. While the winds weren't crazy the snow never seemed to die down. It piled up and blocked access to certain roads and made leaving the house a chore. So much of a chore, that Bluebell hadn't even really been going out on her usual patrols. Mostly because her uniform wasn't exactly built to help her withstand this sort of weather. It didn't even come with proper shoes. She knew there were certain ways to work around that, but it was tedious. Besides, her parents were spending more time home because of the weather as well.
It was certainly pretty in it's own way, but when it finally stopped after days things got even more weird. A large, colorful aurora was alite in the sky. She had never seen one before and they were definitely fairly uncommon in this area. She was definitely suspicious of it, though her parents simply thought it was a very pretty, very lucky sight to see.
She made up some excuse to go out, promising to be careful with all the snow outside. Once she was a safe enough distance from her house she took off her coat and boots before powering up and then slipping them back on over her uniform. Her legs were still cold, but at least now she could get around in the snow easier.
The lights in the sky were simply far too suspicious, had something dangerous used the heavy snow as cover to move in on their city? While she really had no idea where to even begin her investigation, she was sure there was at least something to find out. She was powered up for long before she felt the presence of a Knight, a powerful one at that. It could very easily be Hyperborea, probably also thinking these lights were quite strange.
She headed in the direction she felt the knight aura in and waved to her friend once she was in sight. "Hey there! So, you think this is weird as well?" She pointed up at the sky, not that her friend probably wouldn't know what she was talking about anyway.

Hyperborea stared into the colorful sky above destiny city as if she were trying to bore a hole into with her amethyst eyes. She had been finishing up her homework for winter break when she looked out her window and saw the strange sky that had appeared once the snow faded. She quickly rushed out of her house and powered up.
She stood on a roof top of some random store her cloak lightly fluttering in the wind. She stared silently wishing the sky would open up and tell her what in Cosmos' name was going on.
However it was not the sky that spoke to her but rather a new friend. She turned around and smiled at Tsih.
"I think weird is an understatement. I might like Lit more than science class but I do know this much Aurora's occur near the poles, it shouldn't be happening this far south." She agreed.
"I don't sense aura but its too bizarre to be natural plus along with all of the other holiday weirdness this year and last year I think it must be magical." She mused.

Tsih definitely had to agree that there was no scientific explanation for the aurora's above their heads. Though, she could only begin to imagine all the people on the news tomorrow trying to explain it in some way. Too bad many of them had no idea that real(ish) magic actually existed. What could someone possibly gain from this though? There didn't seem to be any negative effects, at least not yet. It could all be some sort of distraction though. While they wasted their time dealing with the pretty lights in the sky, someone could swoop in unnoticed.
"It's got to be something, but I don't even know where to begin." There wasn't any way for her to fly around in the sky and investigate, so the best she could do was wander around and maybe getting into a few fights to look for some answers. If this was some sort of negaverse trap, they couldn't all be in the dark about it.
"I feel like the most we can do right now, is patrol as usual. If we come across anyone suspicious, we can try to get some answers from them." A very clear smirk crossed her face, Tshi was not at all shy about her desire to punch some baddies in the face. She's probably never turn down a fight, even if it looked like a losing one. The fact that Hyperborea was with her, only made her more confident.

"All we can do for now is observe and look for patterns. Something must be causing all of this weird holiday magic, all we can do right now is hope it is not malicious." She said turning from the sky to look at the senshi.
"This along with the diamond snow that has been falling, its all too weird. These are phenomenon that I would expect on a wonder or a senshi's planet, some place with alot of magic. Not the earth." She mused to herself.
"I would agree. It seems like what ever is causing the is hidden well, or perhaps it isn't even in body, like the Code. But at the very least we might be able to find some clues." She said giving a smile to the clearly gung-ho senshi, in a way she reminded Hyperborea of herself when she was a page.

Hyperborea did have a very good point, there wasn't any reason to ust assume what was happening was something bad. It could be caused by the fact that more Senshi, Knights, and other 'magical' beings were simply out and about right now. It's not like they were the only high schoolers that had more free time on their hands right now. Maybe they were exposing Destiny City to more magic than it was meant to handle at the moment. That could probably cause some weird weather patterns to happen. Of course, she wasn't a scientist by any means.
"It could even be something just passing through." There was no way to deny the fact that aliens were very much real. Could something be passing by that was causing some sort of disturbance? There was really no limit to the possibilities, but if it was something that they could run off, she'd be around to do just that.
"Well, for now anyway, do you have any idea where to start? I was just sort of...roaming around myself." Standing still, she was starting to loose some of the body heat she had built up from running. There wasn't much she could do about her bare legs in this cold.

"An interesting thought but even then I don't like the idea of something none of us know just passing through. We are supposed to be guardians of the cosmos. If we can't figure out magical phenomenon who can." She of course wasn't speaking about the two of them specifically but rather order as a whole.
"I wish I could speak to my Princess, she might know more about this. But she only comes down in emergencies and I don't know if this would warrant her attention." Further Hyperborea wasn't even really sure how to call out to her princess, did she just pray to Cosmos and hope she hears.
"Well from my experience the weird phenomenons tend to happen in the less populated parts of the city, so maybe we should start with the park." She noticed the senshi shivering. She took off her cloak and draped it over the other girls shoulders, it wasn't much but it would offer a little more protection against the cold than the girl's uniform. The cold didn't bother Hyperborea very much any more. So she was fine in just her armor and dress.
"Come on lets get moving." She said as she jumped down from the building.

Tsih had only gotten a very brief crash course from Cass about the war, in during that she had never mentioned a Princess. As far as Tsih was concerned, Hyperborea was like a Princess in a way. A very badass Princess that could dust a youma with a stomp of her foot. She decided not to bring it up though, after all the other girl seemed sad that her Princess was out of reach. If she was so out of reach, what was the point in having a Princess?
"Well, it's up to us to scout out what's ahead." She gave her friend a smile and pulled the cloak that was offered to her around her shoulders. It did help with the wind, it was enough for her to ignore the cold a while longer anyway.
She jumped down from the building and followed after Hyperborea. She hoped the park might hold some answers, but you bet she'd search all over town that night if she had to.
