hello!
what's up i'm nep and i have 50 billion children please help............
i stroooongly suggest looking through these before posting, i wrote them for a reason!
Not all of my Nightmares/Daydreams are very pleasant people. Please keep in mind that the actions of my Nightmares/Daydreams do not reflect my personal thoughts or feelings! I promise I'm a nice person;;;
I am almost always up for roleplay, but please keep in mind that I tend to get very busy with staff responsibilities and may forget to reply in a timely manner. It is okay to poke me for a response if I haven't posted in a week.
I am open to all kinds of roleplays. Friendship, romance, enemies, violence, I'm down for it. I just ask that we take the time to talk things out before jumping into something. ; D
Do you wanna back plot? I'm totally down for back plotting. We can totally say our Nightmares/Daydreams have been friends for a long time!
While I am up for romance plots, I am hesitant to guarantee a romance to anyone. This is because muses tend to be picky and fickle and I feel terrible if I have to tell someone never mind on a plot. I am always happy to plan for things to go in that direction, but nothing is guaranteed until it actually happens in an rp or we've like, reached Critical Feels in one-on-one conversations.
In addition to that note on romance, while I do prioritize personalities having chemistry, I am also a bit picky about coloration. Meaning, if I have an unnaturally colored kid, I will probably be hesitant pairing them with someone who has purely natural colors - this is entirely from a colorist perspective, though. If they have good chemistry, I'll probably favor that!
Note: During Summer months I am incredibly busy and will probably fall off of the RP planet entirely.
Rules are subject to change as I see fit.

NPCs... sort of?
The characters in this post are either staff at one of the schools in the shop or are lore-important! These characters function half as my own, and half as NPCs. some rules and such for how they can be used in your own rps apply- but they're also available on a 1-on-1 basis as well.

Please keep in mind that Kirket goes above and beyond for his patients, absolutely no abuse plots pertaining to Kirket mistreating any students are okay. You do not have to contact me to state you're using Kirket as a background character in your NM/DDs life, but I'm always happy to hear about it!

People interested in Necromancy as a theory can reach out to speak to an officially licensed Necromancer. Malnir is able to leave the compound he lives on but only under strict supervision (though it may not be apparent that he is being watched). Malnir was still an apprentice during the war, but finished his official training once it ended. Litches that would like to know more about their racial exclusive magic can also reach out to Malnir, though he is forbidden from sharing information on how to actually practice Necromancy.

He is not very used to technology though and often gets confused or lost. He's also open for interaction with NMs/DDs that haven't the faintest idea who he is- he'd find it refreshing! Nagoro can come off as very stoic and serious, but he's a trickster at heart. Keep in mind that he is 152 years old.

He's also open to talk to for other Sluagh that were either born in Below or other parts of Above, or even Sluagh hybrids. Being an Inner Circle member, he is privy to a lot of Sluagh secrets. He values his people immensely, which is why his door is always open for other Sluagh to seek him out. He spends half of his time in Elysium, and the other half in Below albeit only in designated areas. He's still very lost on how most of Below functions, so if anyone would like to show him around that could be fun! And maybe get him to loosen up- he's the definition of a workaholic.

The characters in this post are graduated from university or dropped out of the academy (basically they just aren't in school anymore) ! they have their own careers going on... or maybe they don't? if there is a character listed in the singles post that is not in this post it's most likely because i couldn't think of anything to write down for them - but they're still open for plotting!

Quote: Name: Corben Iksaet Occupation: Teacher - herbalism and botany Plots: Corben has 2 children, Leif and Bean. He wants to have a huuuuuge family though, so he's definitely interested in settling down with a partner or two (or more?) and seeing what happens! Corben is very energetic and hands on with pretty much everything, especially nature. His ideal day is spent outside just living life as it happens. He tends to be a little... overzealous with his affections as well. Corben does a lot of experimental magic with his plants, some of it doesn't always turn out very good....... It's never a boring day with Corben around, basically.
Quote: Name: Amalthea Occupation: Creative Writing Teacher / Book Critic Plots: Amalthea is the serious type. He's not really one for goofing off and in fact prefers to stay away from loud, boisterous people. His favorite pastime is curling up in his armchair with a mug of something hot to drink and a good book. While he is pretty introverted, he's not adverse to spending time out and about with good friends!

However Tethys is not really on speaking terms with any of them - if he can help it. He is very self conscious about his mutation, even if it's very subtle (he has colored pupils). Tethys enjoys illusion magic, and social studies (he used to teach the latter at the Academy!) and despite being fairly introverted himself he does like to be around other people. Just... from a distance. He is raising Tybalt on his own, and is not sure he's doing this whole parenting thing correctly.

The characters in this post are still in school, whether it be at one of the 3 universities or community college. if there is a character listed in the singles post that is not in this post it's most likely because i couldn't think of anything to write down for them - but they're still open for plotting!

Quote: Name: Starlet Studying: Astronomy + Divination Plots: Starlet is pretty monotone... He has a bad habit of giving long, soul piercing stares without realizing he's doing it. He strongly takes after whomever his litch parent was, as his emotions and reactions are dulled. He tends to seem to just move through life without much interest in it, but that would be a false observation. Starlet is very interested in the world around him- he's just more interested in the world outside of the actual world....... He has a few children, though he has a very hands-off approach to parenting. Most of them stay at the Academy full time and he periodically visits or brings them to his apartment for sleepovers.
Quote: Name: Ganymede Studying: Fashion + Illusion Plots: Ganymede intends to create his own fashion line of special clothes that have illusion magic embedded in them. Gany is a cache child and was raised at the Academy- which has left him feeling rather disconnected from his culture. He tries his best to live by Geist norms, but since he's never actually been to any of the Geist territories he's not sure he's doing it right... He's got a serious case of resting bitchface and tends to snark at just about everyone. Ganymede is definitely the sort to start yelling before he starts crying.

She's aiming to be one of the best band managers in the business- and she's already managing her friend's band but she's still got a lot to learn. She has one child she's raising in addition to her work and school life, Corona, who was accidentally awakened during October.

They're not really aware of it, but they've got a serious case of depression that leaves them feeling disconnected from the world around them. They're just counting off "life events" that they think they have to achieve, since what else is there to live for? While they aren't actively suicidal, they definitely don't have anything they'd really say they're passionate about or interested in at all. Life is just a series of events they're going through... but maybe they could get some help and find something they're actually interested in.

Quote: Name: Lior House: Eldritch Plots: Lior is completely blind, but he doesn't seem to mind at all. He's a sort of walking hurricane, though. Despite having a walking aid, and numerous other assistance to help him get around, he tends to... lose everything... and just wander. He has a knack for getting into exactly the thing he should not be getting into, but somehow always seems to come out unscathed. He doesn't ever know what he's putting on, so he tends to look like a thrift store threw up on him. No amount of telling him about how much of a fashion disaster he is seems to help at all. Lior just doesn't care what he looks like.
Quote: Name: Jericho House: Enoch Plots: Jericho was one of the unfortunate students that got infected during the cannibal attack on the school. He was already a jumpy kid, but the events of the attack has left him even more jumpy. He was planning to become an accountant in accordance with what the family who employs his family wanted, but his heart's just not in it. He really loves to sing, but has zero confidence in his skills. He's at a crossroads in his life right now, between deciding to live up to the expectations placed upon him, or doing what he truly desires.

He takes his heritage as a Litch very seriously, and still maintains a lot of the traditions that he remembers from his time at home in Boreas. He tends to stick to other Litches, or Litch hybrids, since he still gets homesick pretty often. Prometheus believes Necromancy to be a sacred art, and that the fact that it's now illegal is a grave insult to his people. He fully plans to study it, and become a Necromancer himself, regardless of the cost. His village needs help, after all. He is also extremely protective of his brother, Xeizii.
Quote: Name: Saerun House: Arkham Plots: Saerun is a Hallowed kid with a chip on her shoulder. She is extremely wary of others that are non-Hallowed after being severely bullied at the orphanage she was at before being adopted. Despite being in a loving home and receiving immense support, she still struggles with a lot of self-confidence issues. She tends to be much friendlier with fellow Hallowed people, especially ones with more severe mutations. She's not sure what she wants to do with her life, having only recently come to terms with the fact that she hadn't really thought she'd ever... grow up.

His personality is mostly an amalgamation of what he absorbs from others, and then amplifies. He has a knack for cruel pranks, unfortunately... He behaves well enough around Nagoro, but as soon as his grandfather's eyes are elsewhere, all hell breaks loose. He is capable of being nice, though.

He falls asleep a lot, even in the middle of class, and despite getting more than enough rest. When he is lucid, he tends to be unusually childlike for his age. Silas was brought to the Academy after his parents were found guilty of severe neglect, so he's behind on a lot of things but slowly catching up. Because of how his early childhood was, he has a lot of abandonment issues with people he does get close to.

He's friendly, but not extroverted, so being around a lot of people often makes him tired.
Quote: Name: Kahoni House: Eldritch Plots: Kahoni's eyesight is severely dampened due to their mutation, so they don't really rely on their eyes to get around. Kahoni takes after their father Kaleo in that they are very passive and don't like confrontation at all. They really enjoy fashion, but lack confidence in designing anything themself. Instead, they tend to focus on history and different clothing styles throughout time.
Quote: Name: Kahoni House: Keola Plots: Keola is a bookworm, they spend most of their time in the library reading just about anything they can get their hands on. Like Kahoni, Keola takes after their parent Kaleo in that they tend to be very non-confrontational, but Keola is slightly more willing to tell someone off if they push their buttons too much. Keola doesn't really have any particular career in mind for when they get older, but they supposed someone will need to help their parent with the flower shop he owns.
Quote: Name: Kahoni House: Kekoa Plots: Kekoa sticks out like a sore thumb among his siblings. While Kahoni and Keola are willing to let people do whatever they want, Kekoa is aggressive and in everyone's face. He's definitely a bully in the making, not at all shy about throwing his weight around to get what he wants. Despite his mutation, his eyesight has not suffered at all.
Quote: Name: Halcyon House: Enoch Plots: Born mute, Halcyon communicates almost entirely using sign language. They were adopted by Ambroze after begging him to teach them how to use magic. They now study with him after school, though since they're still a junior they haven't learned any actual spells, just the theory of them. Halcyon aims to master water magic, as well as any healing spells they can find. They're not that self conscious about being Hallowed, but definitely get defensive if anyone mentions their third eye.

Quote: Name: Damien House: Enoch Plots: Damien is sort of like one of those super villains that always have the most ridiculous plot they're working on and are always foiled at the last moment. He isn't really evil, but he's definitely up to no good (in the best ways). At best, his antics are amusing, at worst they're a minor inconvenience. Unless we're talking about stolen sweets- those get eaten immediately. Either way, he's a loud and flamboyant personality.
Quote: Name: Orpheus House: Arkham Plots: Orpheus is a cache child, and while there are a lot of kids like that, he doesn't really take comfort in it. He longs to know who his parents were, and why he was left in the cache. Though the school has many caretakers that play the roll of parent, Orpheus longs for a real family - a parent or few to call his own, and maybe siblings! He has a tendency to get unusually attached to older kids, especially ones that pay him any sort of attention for an extended period of time. Usually this ends in heartbreak when the older kid realizes what's up and sets the record straight.
Quote: Name: Deimos House: Arkham Plots: Whether he was born mute or just is by choice, no one is really sure. Deimos doesn't speak, but he does watch. Always. Most of the time he seems to be a rather agreeable child, happy to do whatever everyone else is doing, but there are moments where his personality seems to do a 180 and suddenly he's throwing things and causing a mess. These outbursts are far and few between, but seem to be getting a little more frequent as he grows older.

Briar's primary parent, Rozen, is a costumer for stage plays so they've sort of gotten an interest in that through watching Rozen work. They're starting to prefer sculpting though. Briar is a little self conscious about their wings, but they try not to point that out to anyone.
