Wing Stickers- Collect the Wing Sticker from the main event page. (They're only available during events.)
Wing Stickers are the currency of The Treehouse. This shop is periodically updated with items that pertain to events. There's no new xmas 2k17 items there yet.
12 Days Items- Collect each of the 12 Days items. Click the scary, floating-circle-thing in the header to be granted the item. It disappears once you click it. A new one appears each day (and is only available that day).
Even if you don't like the items, there's usually an item you can make at the end if you turn in all of the items. This hasn't been confirmed this year.. yet.
You'll be granted a box, which you can find in your special tab of your inventory. Select the box and choose either the human or paw version of the item. If you want both versions, buy the other one from the marketplace.

Decorate a tree (main event)- Create a new topic/thread in the main event forum to get a tree. Make posts in that forum to get ornaments. Place ornaments on trees (your tree or other users' trees) for rewards.

Lake Kindred - A new kin (Reign) has appeared in Fafnir's Peak.

All kins drop rewards like gold and rigs. The new kin, Reign, has a chance of dropping event items (or a kin egg) when defeated. He mostly drops gold and rigs though.
The items are dropped at random. It's possible to get a lot of multiples of the same item.

Caroling - Visit the shops to earn a set of items. There are 8 items total. Click through each of the shops. You'll get one item for every 22 carols. Wait about 30 seconds between shop visits.
Repeat 8 times for the full set of items.
Note, a red music note will appear on the shop icons you haven't visited. Prize and Joy, The Treehouse, The Factory and Dernier*Cri usually are glitched and won't show the music note. Visit those shops still. If you scroll to those shops in the overall page, you'll see the notes.

This is a real blast from the past. Apparently the only xmas events were from 08 and 09.
Every 2 hours and 19 minutes, you can click some presents under the tree in Barton.
You get a chance at the following items (or a naughty box spawns and you have to kill it):
