Arthur has slipped out to wander the streets, wanting to stretch his legs and get rid of some of the housecat pudginess from being indoors too much. Stretching out on a stone fence, he watched the sun overhead make it's way to the horizon. It wouldn't be long till it got dark. Winter days were always so short.
Walking down the fence, his tail bristled at the spark of Order ahead and he meowed out a call of welcome.

From the other side of the fence, a head popped up.
"HELLO THERE!"
The head of a sleek, brown cat popped up, eye wide, paws propped up on the fence. Wendell gave the other cat a bright, cheerful smile, then hauled himself up onto the fence in front of his new best friend, tail curling behind him, coins jingling merrily.
"Who might you be, fair traveler sir?"

Arthur leapt straight like a rocket into the air at the sudden shout and appearance of a cat, landing straight back down before stumbling back and right off the fence.
It took a moment for him to leap back up, clawing at the fence to get back to his original spot, his white coat and tail puffed out as he caught his breath.
"You could have given me a STROKE!" He huffed back, placing a paw to his chest and taking breathes. "My blood pressure."

Wendell just watched.
Eagerly. And probably with more bright cheerfulness than any cat should have, but he was Wendell and Bright Cheerfulness was his middle name. He beamed at the white cat, then loomed forward abruptly, head tilted to the side to stare at him.
"A stroke of genius I would say!" Wendell said amicably. "Who are you? I am Sir Wendell!"

Sir Wendell?
"Arthur." He said, not with any official title. "Are you with the knights?" Is that where the SIR came from?

Wendell gave a gasp.
"SIR ARTHUR!" He said excitedly, giving the cat a wide, beaming grin. "No, I am not with any knights at present, but I am a captain of a ship and a purveyor of justice! I am here to help those who might be in need of help, therefore I am a good sir, and so are you! Are you bonded to anyone, good sir?"
