 What is your OC's most cherished memory?
The day she finally brought Moo Moo home... well, she didn't exactly bring him home.
After filling out all the qualifying paperwork and going through the process the adoption agency sent out a tiny UFO, which contained the Zurg baby. It was the during the first snowfall of the year, just as the sun was setting and the stars were coming out. Astrid opened her front door only to see it hovering there, and once she was close enough it slowly beamed Moo Moo down into her arms before zipping back to the Zurg planet.
Gaians have the stork delivering babies. The Zurg have a Mini UFO.

What is your OC's hobby?
Science. But that's also her job. It's her "jobby."
She likes reading? She'll often pick up an instructional manual and grind away at whatever it's trying to teach her to do until she can successfully do it. Otherwise she likes watching documentaries and also reading research papers.
She is the most boring person.

Their favorite holiday?
Halloween. She and I have that in common, but her reason is a bit more personal than mine.
Astrid loves Halloween mostly because of Halloween 2006. That night changed her life forever, because it introduced her to her boss, the Zurg, and the love of her life as well. If that night hadn't happened, who knows where Astrid would have ended up.
And that's the main reason she loves Halloween.
Also because Moo Moo has dressed up as a cow for the past three years and it's the cutest thing.

Any bad habits?
She's married to her job. Taking the family to Lake Kindred once a week or so to let off steam aside she's in a lab for roughly 19 hours out of the day. To the point where she has brought Moo Moo into work in his Ethical Baby Zurg Deluxe Carrier whenever G-BOT couldn't watch him.
And she has a lab at home she works at. She literally does the same thing whether she's being paid or not.

Their absolute most treasured possession in whole wide world of everything?
It's hard to say. She doesn't put a whole lot of stock in things. Some might say it's her G-Bot, simply because she couldn't live without it. But she doesn't really consider it a thing at this point.
But she does have a few momentos from the Gambino family -- an old photo of Johnny, a G Pin, and a valentine she got back from Gino that one year he actually replied to her. Those are pretty precious to her.

your oc is goin' out to lunch/dinner/whatever. where they goin' an' with who an' what they havin'?
If Astrid is going out for a meal she's being dragged kicking and screaming. Ok, maybe not that dramatic, but it's not her favorite thing to do. You gotta be real special to convince Astrid to eat any more than what is absolutely necessary. She'll join you, and maybe order some fries or a small bowl of fruit, but that's kinda it.
She took awful care of herself in her teenage years and the behaviors have lingered into adulthood. The consequences of being the workaholic she is have ruined both her sleep schedule and her appetite.
I really should have put that in the bad habits answer.

what is your OCs favorite spot to hang out, and with what kind of people?
More often than not, if Astrid is "hanging out" it's at that big ol firepit right in front of her house. She's not the most social but she's got oceanfront to share, so she's down to bring whoever there.
As for who, well, it's normally her son. Sometimes it's a friend. Fingers crossed that it's Gino at some point.

What is the most immoral thing your OC has ever done?
She became a teen mom.
By itself, not particularly immoral. But hear me out.
She adopted a baby at the age of 14 with the intent to study it. Moo Moo was supposed to be an experiment, and she didn't really think about the consequences of adopting a baby alien long-term. That said, she's really stepped into the role of mother over the years.

When is it that any trait of their "naughty" side can be seen?
She can be a biiiiit of a b***h to her coworkers. But only if they're ribbing or chastising her when she doesn't see any need for it.
Sometimes she comes to work a little hungover. But she's damn good at her job and she doesn't want to skip a day just because she may have had a little too much to drink the night before. If a coworker has a problem with it but it's not hindering her performance at work then they can, in her words, eat a d**k.
is that what you meant by naughty?

What is your OC's greatest fear?
Something happening to Moo Moo.
She would be devastated if something happened to anyone in her family, or any of her loved ones in general, but Moo Moo is her son, so she tends to worry about him more. If something happened to her she knows Delilah and Beaker could survive on their own, G-BOT would probably just tend the house or find use elsewhere, but Moo Moo is a baby. She's got multiple emergency contacts on multiple planets just in case.
For perspective, if she can only save one and has to choose between Gino and Moo Moo, then Gino can choke.

I'm gonna cheat and answer both of these at the same time.
Site developments. Events and plot updates are what mainly contribute to Astrid's development. Don't ask me what the spark was that got her started because that was over a decade ago and my best guess is Halloween 2006. It certainly happened during that time, but anything more specific is lost to history.

Astrid has a grunny named Delilah, who she got for her fifteenth birthday. Grunnies are surprisingly long-lived. It's her she takes to Lake Kindred, and thank Gaia for that place. Ever since it opened they've visited weekly, and it has really improved Delilah's demeanor. She doesn't have all that pent-up energy and rage anymore, and she bites a lot less.
Delilah is a real scrapper at Lake Kindred.
