Avaline wasn't born and raised in Barton Town, but that is where she chose to live, and she's proud of it. She was born, raised, and turned into a vampire on Earth, and came to Gaia on an invitation extended by the goddess Gaia herself.

She didn't even have a proper home for several months because she couldn't come out into the open until after the chaos Vladimir Von Helson caused, and it was only once the dust settled and Barton proved to be fairly vampire-friendly that she made up her mind about living there. Once she got to know some of the locals, Ian and Rina especially, there was no question about where she'd finally settle down.
