"Alright kids, so, remember, you've got to put a lot of effort into this sort of gig, so you shouldn't just give to to the senshi, when the time comes. Make 'em work for it, y'know? Gotta get something out of the deal or why did you bother in the first place?"

Claws clicked against the cold surface of the Negaverse castle's floor, the large orange Mau making his way out of the Control Center, two black kittens (hopefully) right behind him. Traveling to Romano's to use the portal had been a pain, but he'd made arrangements in advance with the lovely lady Citrine to meet up here... well, ten minutes or so ago, but still. Paperwork had to be filed with the Big Bosses and that had required extra time going over with the kids, so Bob felt no remorse in his tardiness. Their tardiness.

Initially, he'd figured he'd come alone but when he'd managed to stumble across the Dynamic Duo, a thought had popped into his furry noggin: why not teach the kids another life lesson, while the opportunity was still there?

Glancing back, green eyes checked to ensure both furry rascals were still behind him, fairly certain that the senshi had arrived as well - however it was that basic senshi found their rides, these days.

Silk REALLY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND why Bob invited a wet blanket along. That was his sister. He made sure to say this repeatedly to the older cat on the way too. In the meantime, he also commenced his usual hobby of harassing Lace. "Then stop being a sissy!" He retorted back after smacking her with his paw. He looked around as well, narrowing his eyes, and then looked to Bob. "Why do you want to make them work for it?" He asked.

"Didn't they already do the work to get upgraded in the first place? And isn't it our job to get them upgraded?" While he thought Bob was pretty cool most of the time, and pretty wise, sometimes he wondered why exactly things were done a certain way...

He snapped his attention back at Lace. "I'll stop picking on you when you don't take s**t from damn fruit cakes like Theodore." He hissed.

He offered the woman a toothy grin, canines gleaming as the young woman sauntered towards the Mauvians’ direction. Basic or not, the gal had class and for a brief moment, he almost regretted bringing along the tots because of censorship reasons.

Ah, well. He could probably manage some alone time afterwards with the hottie, if he played his cards right.

“Sure they earned it,” he glanced back towards Silk, who was sounding suspiciously eager to give up his talents for free. “But you have to work, right? And don't folks normally get paid to work?”

Making a point to step forward and thread himself between the senshi’s legs, he let out a satisfied rumble, purring as he nuzzled his head against her fishnet stockings. “Figured the squirts could use a lesson in senshi upgrading, baby doll. You know, gotta teach the next generation and all that.”

Pausing, his head nodded in the kids’ direction. “Silk, Lace. This is Citrine. Lace, honey, did you wanna ask the nice senshi for her pen?”

Silk rolled his eyes so hard he was pretty sure he saw his brain. Bob. Being Bob. Between earning it and clearly putting the smooze on this senshi, he was something else. Having hung out with the older tom a lot by now, he was used to his ways, but still. Being a kid made what Bob did incredibly boring and lame.

For once he didn't mind that Lace was hiding behind him, as he was just glaring at Citrine. At her hair, specifically. "Did you lose a fight with a weed wacker?" He asked her. "Cause only half your head is shaved." He informed her, as if she never looked into a mirror on a daily basis.

Her catty comment made his grin hike up another inch but he didn't respond - they could banter about it later, outside of the kittens' ears.

Turning towards the smaller of the two black cats, he stepped forward and eyed both the pen and then little Lace.

"You got her pen, now it's time to give her the crystal we got from Whatshisname," he explained, doing his best not to glance over at the senshi in her knelt position and generate inappropriate thoughts, "The crystal is going to do the upgrading for her but she can't transform into it again without an upgraded pen. Remember what we talked about? Focusing on making the pen stronger?"

Eyes darted over to Silk to make sure the other Mau was listening, offering as much of a paternal look as he could muster.

Kids. How in the world did anyone stick around long enough to raise 'em?

"Lady, I am one, and if you wanna go I'll make sure that the one side of your head matches the other." Silk scoffed, and he acted like he wasn't really interested in the procedure, but he was. As his team's Guardian Cat, it was really important that he knew how to do this. So he was acting like he was staring off somewhere else, but he was watching out of the corner of his eye.

Intently.

He was analyzing and committing to memory everything Lace was doing, and then immediately looking to Bob to see if the older Guardian approved it or not.

Although he'd only seen a handful in his time employed by the Negaverse, it never got old to see a senshi transform into a stronger, cuter version of themselves.

Unless they were dudes - those were just okay.

Bob let out a low whistle as Super Citrine's new boots clicked against the flooring. She'd grown a skirt and a few new touches, overall still looking as hot as ever (even if she did seem to become more... conservative in appearance). Her aura radiated more power than before, a formidable foe to all of the underlings she now held rank over. And he didn't even have to do any of the flipping! Talk about making one hell of a deal.

"Alright squirts." His head turned towards the kittens as his long tail moved out to affectionately brush Lace beneath the chin. Silk got a respectable headnod - bro-appreciation, of course - before he gestured for them both to head back towards the Mau's communication base. "Time for you two to scram. The lady and I have some chattin' to do."

"Just try it lady." Silk sneered. "Not only am I more precious than you are in this organization, but if you laid one ugly nail on this fur my General would kick your a**."

The kitten definitely liked the process more than the result, considering who it was that was the beneficiary of it. When Citrine stepped as a Super, he made a show of looking very bored. Instead he looked towards his sister for any final notes he needed to take, and then towards Bob. Bob had nothing to add though, and seemed to be pleased with how things went down. Now him and Lace were being dismissed.

"Gross." He gagged at the senshi and the older Guardian cat. "Later, Bob! Smell ya later!" When Lace approached, he turned and scampered off, not waiting to see what Bob and Citrine would do.
