Anaiise just smiled warmly at her childhood friend. She knew he could get embarrassed easily, so she tried to always be as warm and approachable as possible. That was something she wanted to remain a constant even with her new position; she wanted people to feel like they could talk to her. She was still a person.
"Why am I not surprised? You always did have more of a fondness for plants than people....which is why they always responded to you better than most. I'm sure you'll be wonderful with your studies." She giggled a little but her smile was a bright as ever. It was good to hear he was pursuing something he enjoyed.
"It is! I'm honestly surprised to see anyone that I know these days. Things are so hectic....but I've always been one to keep busy." If that wasn't an understatement, she didn't know what was. These days, though, it felt like everything she ever did beforehand was paling in comparison to being both a full-time student and full-time political figure. Still...she was happy to do what folks needed her to do.
"Me? Oh....goodness, where to start...well right now I'm focusing on Sociology and Law and then I'll be looking into World Religion, Anthropology and History as well. I want to make sure I do my new role justice, after all." She smiled at the dryad with a happy swish of her tail....then she felt like she might have unintentionally sounded like a braggart.
"I mean...I'm just trying to make sure I do the best job I can. Knowing about Rosebud as a citizen is great but I want to make sure I am educated on other things that could be related, as well. Are you taking anything else along with Botany?"
