If someone is even the slightest bit kind or friendly towards her she tends to return the favor tenfold, which can be either well received or seen as off-putting,depending on the person. Naturally kind and caring, Dagrun is always willing to give as much as she possibly can to the people around her, even to her own detriment. She feels genuinely miserable when someone is hurting and there is nothing she can say or do to make them feel better.

xxx»» Dagrun is a bit of a perfectionist. She often spends far more time than necessary on things like a drawing or a letter, and likes everything around her to be very orderly. She is also very conscientious about her appearance at all times, always trying to comb her hair or make sure her shirt is wrinkle-free. While not obsessively neat, Dagrun does like to know that any chaos around her is organized chaos, or at least chaos that makes sense to her.

xxx»» Dagrun is usually on the more quiet, reserved side, though she isn't shy and enjoys making friends, nor does she despise small talk. But she tends to go unnoticed, or at least feels like she does, especially in a group. This rarely bothers her, as she doesn't like being the center of attention at all, but Dagrun doesn't know when she needs to stand up for herself or take credit for her own efforts. Her more downplayed nature is easily taken advantage of by others.

If told that she needs to do something, chances are that she will straight away do it. If she starts something she'll refuse to stop until she's done, and this can make her quite mulish and single-minded at times. But she feels better knowing that she puts her whole heart into everything that comes her way.

While she tries her best not to hold grudges, everyone who knows her is aware that she is not someone you necessarily want to have gotten on the bad side of, since it isn't exactly easy for her to just 'let things go'. If Dagrun sets out to do something, she is going to do it, come hell or high water. Unfortunately this makes her absolutely terrible at arguing, since she tends to just buckle down on her original point and refuse to engage past a certain point.

- CHILDHOOD
xxx»» Dagrun is the biological daughter of Rubin Eide and Anika Kleinman, a Scandinavian wizard and a German British witch. Her father moved to Britain a few years after graduating from Durmstrang, where he eventually met and married her mother, and the two settled down together to raise a family. Dagrun's older sister Drew was adopted before she and her twin brother, Donner, were quite unexpectedly born. Donner inherited their father's metamorphmagus ability, while Dagrun did not, although she was never terribly disappointed about that. Over time the marriage of her parents began to suffer, as her mother seemed to be increasingly involved in her work and rarely home or present in their lives, and the couple filed for divorce. Dagrun lived with her father and siblings but rarely saw her mother, who never seemed to be around, and after learning that her parents divorced without bothering to explain what was really going on to their children, withdrew somewhat, preferring the company of her twin brother and big sister to any adult. Eventually her father began dating his former therapist, Niall. Dagrun found this very unsettling, as she didn't like the idea of a man who knew all of their family's dirty secrets suddenly being part of the family itself, although she did like Niall's daughter Elvira.
SCHOOL YEARS
- FIRST YEAR »» Dagrun was sorted into Hufflepuff, while her twin was sorted into Gryffindor. Donner was initially upset by this, but Dagrun was unfazed, reasoning that it would be good for them to have their own identities after being 'the twins' for so long. She enjoyed her new common room and house character, and liked most of her classes and professors.
SECOND YEAR »» Dagrun tried out for the Hufflepuff team and made second reserve keeper. She also spent more time exploring the castle and grounds, as she was less concerned about getting lost or being late for class.
THIRD YEAR »» Dagrun endured a trip to the ice cream parlor with her twin and her father's boyfriend Niall over the summer, and had a quiet year focused mostly on her new electives and Quidditch.
FOURTH YEAR »» Dagrun spent most of her fourth year preoccupied with Quidditch and homework. She did manage to develop a mortifying crush on a sixth year Ravenclaw. Alas, James found a seventh year girlfriend in February, and Dagrun experienced her first heartbreak when she witnessed them unabashedly snogging in the Great Hall.
FIFTH YEAR »» The highlight of Dagrun's fifth year was a train ride to Hogwarts with the Hawthorne twins, and not necessarily in a good way. (Although she did strike up something of a friendship with Jack, who she viewed as the more peaceable of the two). Mostly, she spent her free time extensively studying for her dreaded OWLs, and at Quidditch practice.
SIXTH YEAR »» Dagrun had a fairly eventful sixth year, in that she found herself on a not-date with Will Hawthorne, who then proceeded to leave in the middle of it and avoid her with a passion for the rest of the year, and that she started her first relationship in May, with a rather serious Slytherin named Graham.
SEVENTH YEAR »» Dagrun's seventh year was not a complete wash-out, although the quidditch season went terribly and her relationship with Graham soon became tempestuous, as she felt he was overly critical and at times controlling, and he felt like she was dismissive of his opinion and too stubborn. The fact that he'd found out she'd had an impromptu snowball fight with Will shortly before winter break did not help matters at all. They finally broke up for good in May, shortly before her birthday, and she was more relieved than truly upset over it.
