Horseback riding - This hasn't changed much, although Emmett now attends a different stable, one quite a far distance from his own to avoid overlap. Having grown up with his family on a large plot of land, the Whybourne family - Emmett's previous family - had a stable full of horses for their children's convenience. He grew up knowing how to take care of them as well as ride, and has his own horse still there. There isn't much opportunity for riding in the middle of a crowded city, but Emmett goes when he can and he still has a great love of horses and everything associated with them.
Cooking - Emmett is rather adept at fending for himself, and cooking is no exception. He's done a great deal of cooking all throughout his childhood and teenage years, especially because he's been living alone for quite some time. He takes risks, often including ingredients that are questionable and possibly dangerous (such as puffer fish and blood clams), mostly because he likes taking risks in this sort of way (he doesn't ever consider it an actual risk). He still cooks now, and has turned a lot of his attention towards cooking, instead of his audio/visual work.
Virtues:
Gentle - He's a kindhearted soul, never meant for the Negaverse. Emmett's heart has always been a little secluded; he isn't used to receiving or giving affection, and it's something of a new thing for him now. He doesn't show his emotions well and doesn't speak well, but it isn't for a lack of caring or a lack of trying. He simply expresses himself differently than most, but steadily he is unfolding and revealing that gentle heart of his.
Careful - Nothing is done without prior consideration. Everything Emmett does is very thoroughly thought through, sometimes to the point of over thinking because he wants to make sure that he gets it right. He will never be reckless or rash; he is too cautious for this and too determined to make sure that he and those around him are careful as well.
Flaws:
Sheltered - Emmett's sheltered life means that on top of his somewhat backwards nature, he's both ignorant of a lot of things and overly self sufficient in other ways. He doesn't know how to ask for help - doesn't even know that he should ask for help most of the time, which can often land him in bad situations. His ignorance that stems from a sheltered lifestyle means he doesn't always know what's happening or what's right or wrong; it is a very slow learning process that often hinders his relationships and his everyday life.
Socially backwards - He has no idea how to socialize, period. Emmett has no social graces, no subtlety, and little to no knowledge of when he's being tactless. He sometimes says or does things that are too much, not enough, borderline rude, and often frustrating, and he's sometimes brutally truthful and honest without intending to be rude - but is rude nonetheless. He's never been taught to be tactful before.
