] Taking to the rooftops, the fuzzy pair of senshi and cat had found themselves safe from the police that showed up shortly after the demise of the youma. Called by some of the patrons in the restaurant (that likely heard the youma's distinctive roar), they began to search the area for the "rampaging animal" reported by the caller and other witnesses. Their lights and sirens echoed against the concrete and glass of surrounding buildings, but they would not think to check above. Safely nestled in Meissa's arms, Itsuki took a ten minute catnap to refresh himself enough to give the newly-awakened bobcat senshi the information and tools she needed to start successfully on her senshi journey. He would stay by her side and train her for a few days, keeping in contact with her via phone after in case she needed anything at all. With a giant stretch of all four limbs, Itsuki yawned. "Much better! Domo arigato, Meissa-san. That beam is very tiring. I'm still tired, but it's not so bad now. Now, there's still more things I need to explain, and then, if you don't mind, I can stay with you where you live to keep an eye on you."Squirming out of Meissa's arms, Itsuki flopped onto the rooftop and shook himself to fluff up his fur. Then, the lilac point turned to face the senshi and sat down. "First thing's first! You'll want to add allies in your senshi cellphone! You can add me, just by taking a picture! Oh, what else? Let's see..." Itsuki lifted a paw and began to count on his squishy bean toes. "Youma and the Negaverse... and... knights... oh, and learning how to sense other people with powered starseeds... uwah, there's quite a lot to cover... Gomen nasai, Meissa-san."

Once safely ensconced on the rooftop Meissa had gently kept Itsuki deposited in her lap as she fiddled around with the phone that had been presented to her moments earlier. The teen still wasn't sure what she thought of all of this: being awoken as a magical warrior and all. The other issue for concern, at least in her mind, was this outfit. Would she always be seen out and about in it? The whole barely almost there piece of clothing across her chest was a bit worrisome. The boots and gloves though, she could definitely get used to them. Smiling she ran a finger over the other oddity to her costume before shrugging softly. 'Guess the ears have to stay as they complete the look.'
It was about this time that Itsuki began to rouse himself from his brief catnap and Meissa let her attention refocus on the feline. Was it weird to admit to oneself that finding out cats talked wasn't freaking her out more? Taking the henshin pen that Itsuki had given her she studied the object before placing it down beside her to bring the phone up and snap a picture of Itsuki counting on his toes and grinned at the image before noting the phone automatically placed Itsuki among her rather empty contact list. "Okay, so I have your contact information now?"
She was still tempted to ask what made her special but held off on asking that question just yet. Instead she went over the first little bit of what Itsuki had inquire of her. "I live on the outskirts of the city on a farm. I don't know if that would help you out but there would be plenty of places we could go without being disturbed," she paused before glancing around as if realizing something, "I kinda think this whole being a magical warrior needs to stay a secret, yes?"
Meissa sighed softly before rubbing at her calf muscles. The sensation of being tired from running for so long was fading but the landing she had made jumping onto the roof had jarred quite a bit. Innocently she glanced to Itsuki before pondering asking her own questions, "I know I have a lot to learn but why did you save me and why do this?"

Itsuki's ears drooped, slightly guilty for foisting such a heavy destiny on a young lady. "Hai, you have my contact information now, but I'll stay with you for a little while, to help train you! There's a lot to learn, but, gomen... I know it's a lot of responsibility you didn't ask for, Meissa-san."Without the real scope of what was going on in Destiny City behind the scenes, Meissa may not have fully understood what awakening really meant in the grand scheme of things. It was up to the Mauvian to give her as much information as possible, so she could make that decision. "A farm is perfect, Meissa-san. There's a lot I can teach you without us being disturbed! Hai, your status as a senshi should be a kept a secret. Your identity is protected while you're Sailor Meissa - there's a glamour that conceals who you are. It goes away when you power down! To go back to your civilian self, you just have to think of your other self, and the fuku will melt away."Well, that was a couple things covered - the glamour and powering down. Meissa had an excellent question, though - why awaken her? Itsuki sighed deeply, as the heat of battle wasn't his preferred time to awaken anyone. "I knew I couldn't destroy the youma without your help. And if you weren't awakened, there was a possibility that the youma would devour you. That's what they do... youma eat innocent people here in Destiny City. Gomen nasai, Meissa-san. I know you didn't ask for this, and I was really worried for you. If you don't want to be a senshi, I can't force you to."Pawing at the rooftop, the Mauvian's ears twitched. "There's a terrible organization called The Negaverse that's trying to take over the city. The youma are their pets, and their agents hurt people and sometimes kill them. It's up to the senshi and the knights in the city to help protect it, and we Mauvians are the ones who can awaken the power in a senshi. That's my job. I try to awaken and train senshi so they don't feel alone." The lilac point laid a paw on Meissa's thigh.

Meissa was glad that the news about living on a farm wouldn't impede Itsuki's need to train her; whatever that entailed. Suddenly there was a brief sensation of apprehension that washed over her. What if she was awakened by a mistake? Sighing softly the teen continued to listen intently to Itsuki's instructions. Her mind was working overtime as she stored the information away to analyze at another, more opportune time. The knowledge that no one would be able to recognize her from this form was encouraging. Not normal in the most ordinary of occasions it would be terrifying if someone would find out about this new secret she was now forced to carry. Meissa gently reached out to scratch Itsuki's ears. "I'm not upset Itsuki. I think it is more of a shock to say the least. I think I'll need a bit of time to adjust is all but if you found the need to awaken me was that strong than I guess I need to thank you."
The fact that there was even more knowledge to impart was starting to be a little much and Meissa rubbed at her temples. A headache was not something she wanted to deal with right now but it seemed as if being a senshi didn't make her immune to such things. 'Maybe I can ask about that later.' Dutifully she listened intently. It was probably most important to get all this noted and out of the way in one go than over multiple sessions. Although from what Itsuki was explaining to her it sounded like there was still info to pass along in these training sessions.
Staring at the young cat Meissa waited to see if more would be said before sighing softly and asking another question that had been bugging her, "Is it safe to stay in this form for long periods of time?"

"Hai, you can stay like this as long as you like, but not everyone in Destiny City is happy to see a senshi, unfortunately..." Ears drooping, Itsuki scratched at the ground. "The Negaverse had their hands in a lot of things, Meissa-san, including the media! Senshi are the terrorists that you hear about on the news. You're not terrorists, though! Senshi work hard to keep the city safe from the Negaverse and from Chaos. It makes them look better to lie about Senshi, though..."There was so much to go over, but trying to dump it all on the brand-new Bobcat Senshi seemed... almost mean. And it was too much information to foist on someone so soon after such a crazy event as destroying one's first youma. Oh! But Themi-chan's sister... Raising a paw, Itsuki's demeanor perked up a little bit. "Meissa-san, I almost forgot. There's a app on your phone - it looks like a book? One of my senshi, his older sister wrote a primer for senshi to access as soon as they get their phone. It talkes about what I've mentioned, so you can reread it any time! Maybe that will help. I know it's a lot to take in."The lilac point was already coming up with training sessions to work with on the farm - it would be the perfect place to practice sensing power signatures in safety! Itsuki could hide in various places and Meissa could try to find him, like magical Hide-and-Seek! "There are all sorts of senshi and their allies, called Knights, in the city! But there are some basic techniques I need to teach you to keep you safe. When you're a senshi, you have a magical radar so you can sense people with powers at a distance. You can sense youma now too! You can even sense me! This will help keep you safe as you travel~"The practical training would help solidify a lot of this information, but Itsuki certainly didn't mind touching on anything and everything Meissa had questions regarding. It was his job, his duty, and his responsibility to new and young senshi just brought into the fold.

Meissa was taking in everything that Itsuki was telling her on this night. Heck it wasn't everyday that one found out that cats could possibly talk and explain that you are a magical warrior. And of course it would make sense that the real enemy would be the one that painted the good guys in a bad light. Sighing softly Meissa glanced back down at her phone and saw the icon that resembled a book. So that was a source of information that she could access at any time? That would be a big help for when Itsuki wasn't around. The Bobcat senshi thought about what Itsuki had mentioned before earlier and concentrated on the main point that not everyone would be happy seeing her around. That would most likely be the enemy then,
Stooping to stretch a muscle in her back Meissa glanced at the rooftop that she and Itsuki currently resided on before glancing in the direction of where her home was situated. "Okay, I think I understand what is going on. I not sure I'm alright with the changes that have been wrought tonight but I'm going to do my best to make this work out."
Here Meissa paused. Already Itsuki had told one truth: she could sense him. And that was perhaps her first clue that maybe things could work out. She would just need to learn her lessons well. She was uncertain about what her future would bring going forward but she believed that perhaps this was something she could handle. "Itsuki thank you for aiding me this evening."
Reaching down she picked up the kitten and gently ruffled his fur. "Would it be better to power down now or late?"

The lilac point tilted his head at Meissa, one ear flopping to the side "Hai, Meissa-san. Not everybody wants to be a senshi, and... I can understand that. I'm just glad you're safe. Even if you don't power up again after this, I'm glad that your power at least saved both of us!" With a shake of his fur, the Mau trotted to the edge of the building and looked down, performing a scan to see if the coast was clear. "I don't sense anyone else around, Meissa-san. I think... it's probably a better idea to jump down to the street and find a private place to power down. If you head home in powered form, someone could possibly see you or track you. I can dampen your signature, but it's still kind of risky." With a nod, Itsuki returned to Meissa's side and bumped her leg with his head, just like Earth cats might do - a show of affection. "I think we're both due for a nap, though!"Indeed, Itsuku would keep her safe as best he could, cloaking her powered signature as long as she remained in senshi form. Whichever way they headed home tonight, at least there was one less youma roaming the streets.

Giving a thoughtful frown Meissa nodded at Itsuki's words. It would be a lot easier if she were to get to street level and then power down back to her regular self. Oh, if that wasn't strange enough thinking about the situation and readily accepting what Itsuki had told her and what was happening then she didn't know what was normal. Shaking her head Meissa glanced to the roof ladder. Guess normally one would climb down that to get down bur Itsuki mentioned that she could jump down to street level and she had jumped up without the need of a ladder to get onto the roof.
Feeling Itsuki bump against her leg Meissa smiled and strolled over to the ledge and swung her legs over so she was sitting on the railing. With the phrase, 'here goes nothing,' running through her head Meissa pushed off from the railing and landed on the ground seconds later, none for the worse for wear. It probably wouldn't be the reasonable thing to keep trying, jumping off buildings, but Delaney had to admit to herself that it was kinda cool that it was possible. Grabbing hold of the side of the building to steady herself Meissa waited for Itsuki to join her and once the feline was at ground level she began the search for someplace to power down.
Once she had resumed her regular appearance Delaney set off in the direction of the farm that was her home. She'd hide Itsuki before her parents could even catch sight of him.
