Personality: Suffused with a simmering anger that only truly cools for his dragon and those he unconsciously deems in need of his help, H'win is a keenly perceptive individual with a level of empathy that borders on the supernatural. Where that might have left another person more understanding and kind over time, H'win has remained hyperfocused on the bad in the world and all those who suffer because of it, and boy, has that outlook left him salty. He thinks that most people are self-serving shits, out for only themselves to a detrimental degree, and he is not afraid to tell them so. It is surprisingly easy to get away with acting high and mighty when one has a dragon at their back.
Thankfully, his attitude rarely prevents H'win from being exceptional at his job. He prides himself on his "impression rate", keeping a mental tally of the number of Candidates he personally searched who Impress, and he is fiercely proud of his duty to his weyr, though it is rare to hear him say so. He finds that life feels nicer if you don't expect much from it.

History: Born to a pair of High Reaches kitchen workers and raised amongst his fellows as a future Candidate, stringy, bookish Hadwin always assumed he would Impress, he just wasn't particularly looking forward to the inevitability. He was secretly terrified of the thought of the return of Thread, and every day while he cleaned up after sick dragons and avoided his more boisterous peers, he dreamed of aging out of candidacy and taking to farming or winemaking, perfectly respectable careers that wouldn't leave him responsible for the well being of all of Pern. But that was not meant to be.
He attended his second hatching at the age of fifteen and was chosen by Suuth despite his best intentions (aka crouching behind two of the most promising Candidates on the sands in an effort not to be noticed). In the years since, they have traveled far and wide, seeking out those well suited to a dragon bond. H'win has grown antsy with the resurgence of Thread, but he hopes that if he keeps his head down, all will remain as it has been.

Physical Description: Suuth is an entirely average dragon on the outside. His hide is a lovely mix of blues, always well-oiled and shimmering, but his limb length, stamina, overall size, cheekbones and everything else? Completely unremarkable. He doesn't seem to mind.
Personality: What Suuth lacks in physical flashiness, he makes up for with his sparkling personality. He is one of the kindest dragons you will ever meet, quick to console the despondent or call his rider to do so if he deems his own presence too intimidating. H'win was the first lost soul he was ever drawn to, and though he never quite managed to completely cure the lonely, angry boy of his anger, Suuth has most definitely kept His productive and fulfilled in the years since they met. H'win is certainly not lonely anymore either.
