School was finally over for the semester, and Kami had decided that he would do what he hadn't been able to do in a while... get into a fight. Unfortunately at Azure Valley Academy, they were quite strict on any physical fighting, so for the entire semester he had to resort to mental fights.
But now, as a senshi? Well, if there was one thing that made him a bit excited, no he wouldn't admit he lost a lot was fighting, and if he could fight evil agents? Even better! And now he actually could stay out late to do it! When he wasn't in school, his father at least didn't care where he was, and so he was no free to stay out late, and sleep in as long as possible. Though he didn't do the latter as much. After all, he was already too good for any beauty sleep.
He had gone to a slightly different part of town than usual, and it was the more Mom & Pop type store area, one he sometimes frequented for miniature garden products. He had often wondered if he might find an agent or someone else here, but had been a little reluctant to hang out in an area while powered, in case someone saw him change. So he had come from a different direction instead. His efforts were rewarded though, but he wasn't too sure of the aura that he was feeling. He followed it anyway, but he couldn't recognize it. It didn't feel like any agent aura... He walked around a couple of buildings, until he saw... what seemed to be a senshi?

The click clack of heels on cold uncaring asphalt never ceased to put a smile on Alum's face. Sure, it might seem odd, but in the din of the daylight, people made the sound drowned out, a dull thing that could not be isolated and enjoyed for the way it echoed in empty streets or made you feel powerful. What made it even better was when that click was followed by a click of someone following. Someone trying to catch him while he sought to catch a starseed or two for Metallia.
As the order power ebbed closer and closer, Alum's smile got wider and wider until finally, he felt it just near enough. Spinning around with a flourish, his long collar twinkling in the faint light Alum's grin stretched across his face. "Oh- another senshi. Been a while since I had a chance to meet one of you."
He certainly is confident. Kami thought to himself as he heard the other speak once Kami had gotten close enough. And the other seemed to have purposely put some flair into the turn and looked eager to fight. Well good, then it wouldn't be too hard for Kami to start the fight.
He had to admit though, he felt a bit jealous of the flair the man had. Kami would have to incorporate that into his powered interactions somehow.
"Well, a lot of people want to meet me, so you're lucky." Ah, now he remembered, this was one of those corrupt senshi. Hopefully this one was more fight crazy rather than... crazy crazy like the last one had been. "Seems like you've been looking forward to it too. We might even be on the same page on what we want at this point... a fight perhaps?" He raised an eyebrow at his own question, almost daring the corrupted senshi to answer no. Kami really was asking for it at this point, but he was practically celebrating the end of finals, and had some extra energy he needed to expend. Even if that meant 'tieing' a fight. Not losing, they would 'tie'.

There was always something fun about fighting to Alum. The risk, the reward. It boiled down to perhaps, Alum's love of chance and adventure. Risk was involved and it just got him moving, blood pumping- it was a thrill, a rush, and he adored it so. "Famous then?" Alum's fingers interwove, a smile now showing white teeth in the hopes that perhaps harvesting this starseed would gain him more favor that others. How fortuitous for him then, and unlucky for this senshi. "And yes, I do so love a good fight. But you see, I often run into this tiny tiny snag often enough." Fingers fell apart, a gesture of forlorn mock sadness gracing Alum's face. "I lack a rather useful weapon you see, so the cosmos saw fit to grant me one better than all others- ah but I forget my manners!" A clap his hands brought together, Alum winked.
"Alum, at your service. Since I doubt you'll be leaving here alive, I'll give you the first shot." A dismissive gesture of his hand- "Come on then, tell me who you are in that classic little line and we'll begin."
Kami raised an eyebrow at the other. "Unfortunately for you, no. But that's because most people don't realize they want to meet me until after they've seen me." He couldn't possibly go in the spotlight, and become famous. Sure, he would get lots of attention, but attention like that was exhausting and Kami didn't much care for it. No, better to brighten each individual's day a bit more with his presence instead of blasting all over.
He felt a smile coming onto his lips though. This... corrupted senshi was definitely out there. And he had found one of the seemingly more... crazy agents. Why do I keep running into those? Kami thought to himself, slowly going into a fighting position, but making sure to be defensive as well. If he had let this senshi go on his own, there would be someone, probably without a starseed tonight. That couldn't happen. Kami had a job to do, and it was to stop this exact sort of thing.
It was silly what this other senshi was saying. Of course they wouldn't give weapons to corrupted senshi, they already had magic. So he really had no idea what this 'Alum' senshi was trying to be dramatic about, but it almost made Kami laugh.
Instead though, he decided to humor the other a bit. "Takamizawa, but you can call me Kami. Though you won't be leaving my corpse tonight." He hated to admit it, but some powers were just better than his, if he had to run he would. He wouldn't be risking having his life taken away because of a crazy. But perhaps he could stop the other, just for a bit or have them run. "Thank you for being so kind. Here, Surgeon's Cut!" He said, making a quick slicing motion with his hand. He knew that it wouldn't do much damage, but at this point it was mostly used as a distraction.
Sailor Scout Attack: Surgeon's Cut Focusing on a target, Kami makes a slicing motion with his hand as if holding a scalpel. Down the middle of the of the target's chest a thin line appears and it feels as if they are being cut open for surgery. Feels like getting cut by a knife (player can choose pain amount, on a scale of 1-10, between 1-3 on the scale). Line remains for 25 seconds and can be used 3 times in battle.

Alum had been expecting a lot of things as of late. More power, perhaps a promotion, a chance to get to make a fruitcake and not have all the fruit sink to the bottom because dang it that recipe from the great british bake off sounded legit as all heck. But physical pain was not among them. Magic that could make a metaphysical cut that felt real? It burned in his skin and he let out a hiss from the sudden lash of pain.
"So-" His hand felt for blood, and finding nore, his golden eyes darkened with a knowledge. It was magic. Painful but nothing lasting, nothing real and damaging. That he could see at any rate. Later he'd have someone look him over in the rift maybe, ensure nothing internal was going on, but for now. "How like you normal senshi. All bang and bluster nothing solid, nothing concrete. Nothing useful. " Like him. The connotation burned under his skin. He'd show everyone the merits of his power and abilities. He'd show how useful he could be to a cause. "How about I show you want real magic can do. All you have to do is Fall."
SSBrosB
Sailor Scout Attack: Fall Targeting a single person, Apollo makes eye contact with their target, and puts them into a state of sensory deprivation/hallucination. It can be used twice in battle and last 30 seconds. In this state the target cannot feel, see, hear, taste, touch anything- their mind is active, and they hallucinate that which is their darkest fears. They can still move, attack/lash out and talk, but they cannot infer anything happening around or to them.
Ya'll ******** seen Age of Ultron we're pull'n some scarlet witch s**t up in here.
Kami had wanted to say something about what constituted 'useful' to the other senshi, but already the illusion was working on him. At once he knew he couldn't use any of his five senses, and only tried to think of what a defensive pose was since he couldn't really feel himself doing it. He would have to tough this out. If there was one thing he had learned about these illusion attacks, was that they weren't real. They felt real, but they would eventually go away. But... they also lasted quite a long time too, which left someone vulnerable.
The hallucination had already begun, and Kami refused to describe it. One would have thought it was learning that he wasn't as amazing as he thought, but instead it did have something to do with his family, one in which he knew was a possibility, but that he would try everything in his power to prevent.
All he could do was last through this, and he was sure that the other was probably already trying to reach for his starseed. Kami couldn't let that happen. He would make this senshi pay. So, Kami did the only thing he could think of doing, since he couldn't use any of his five senses, he lashed out, flailing his fists wherever.

When the attack took hold, Alum had a few options. One, was to run, get out of dodge. That was in the event he knew he'd lost but no, this time, he had just started, and thus, was determined to try. A beat passed and as it did, he slinked forward, ever cautious, knowing how volatile some could become when under the magic of his attack. His hand reached out, brushing the fabric of the other senshi's tunic when the other managed to figure it out. Or, had reached an apex of their own fear, lashing at a force they couldn't see.
A fist caught his arm painfully, and Alum was forced to take a step back. He didn't want to get hurt, but he also didn't want to disappoint. So he went for something else- intimidation. Grabbing at a wrist he planned it tight, waiting for the other senshi to catch back with reality. "How annoying," he muttered, wishing he could do more than grab and hold a stray limb by chance alone.
The hallucination was finally starting to go away. Kami was starting to feel the rush of blood through his limbs and feeling like it was finally going back to his head. It made him stumble a bit and lose his balance, which was when he realized that there was something that felt like it had caught his right wrist. Not good. He thought. He was sure it was the other senshi, though he could have been wrong and it could be some civilian, which was highly unlikely, or the senshi's backup, which was more likely.
Kami's vision was coming back, but he could only see spots and could tell that there was someone in front of him, though whether it was the senshi or not he couldn't tell. He did know however that he had to get away, and since his dominant hand was now caught, he had to try to use his left hand to cast his magic. Whether or not it would work he didn't know, he hadn't ever tried it with his left hand.
Before he was totally recovered, Kami aimed at what he thought was most likely the hand that had caught his wrist, and weakly said, now that his voice was coming back, "Surgeon's cut..." as he made what he thought was a slicing motion at it. Whether it would work was another story. The person holding his wrist could easily just let go and he would miss, or possibly hurt himself. He really hoped his magic couldn't do that.

Alum, for all his bluster, was a coward on many fronts. Pain made him flee, and when he felt it, that prickling of magic right before he caught the other senshi's words, the corrupt let go just as he felt the sting of a blade pass through his sternum.
"s**t-" He stumbled back, hands grasping at his chest, heart hammering away. He'd been too slow and- A distant tug, he felt the call of chaos, beckoning him home. Hissing Alum looked at the senshi, clearly annoyed and angry. "This isn't over," He spat, the call of chaos ever growing.
His hand still clucnhed his chest, the phantom pain burning. "I've only begun."
He didn't have anymore time. With a final pull, Alum was summoned back to the rift, leaving his intended rival alone in the dark.
Kami thought something had happened, or at least he had heard some muffled words, or what he thought had been words, before the large, blurry figure in front of him disappeared. Kami felt himself fall forward, unable to catch himself before he hit the ground, which he did so with an "oof". However, it seemed that his eyesight had now cleared, and he couldn't see the other senshi anywhere. In fact, he couldn't sense the other senshi at all.
It was weird, Kami would have thought that the other would have stayed longer, after all it seemed that the other's power was much stronger than his, in terms of usefulness. But the other senshi was no longer there, and Kami picked himself up, brushing dirt off of himself. He glared, trying to figure out what to do next, but suddenly felt how tired he was, and decided he would go back and sleep. This battle just showed he had a lot more to learn. And with that decision, he powered down, and started on his way home.
