Earth is the realm commonly referred to as "The World of the Living." While most focus is shed on Karakura, it is not insane to expect that spirits may be in other parts of the world, just not as concentrated, so RPing in topics set in other countries may happen.

One secret organization keeps tabs on spiritual activity in the world, Section Nine. They have recently noticed that with the Jokaisho Pillar invasion and other threats to the world, that a time for heroes is now, and have begun recruiting strong spiritually aware individuals into their cause for justice and Earth's Defense.

Faction Races Allowed: Humans, Modified Souls, Quincy, Bount, Telekinetics
Description: Section Nine, the Agency which oversees spiritual activity and recruits special talents to assist has an open enlisted process called The Defender Program, which allows spiritually aware races of Earth to enlist and become a Defender, a Hero to the people. While not all Defenders are self-less heroes of justice, some work for themselves and assist the Defender Program as a means to an end, or an easy pay-check. Some even do it for power and control. Section Nine only dictates that a Defender must eliminate spiritual threats to the realm. How it is done is of no concern as long as no unaware Human lives are put at risk.

Ranks:
C-Class -: The lowest grade of Defender, and were most start out in the Defender program. Most C-Class Defenders are local heroes and personalities with powers that are undeveloped and need more practice, or may lack any real talent at all, but the heart of a hero beats in their chest and even working as a lowly C-Class is enough to fill them with pride. They handle minor threats, but sometimes may push themselves to take on something stronger in order to advance in Class.
Permissions Ability to perform One-Star and Two-Star level missions if posted or assigned by an S-Class, once per two-weeks.

B-Class -: B-Class Defenders are the working force of the Defenders program, often handling threats that are too insignificant for higher class Defenders to waste energy and resources on. They are often seen as potential rising stars, but for the most part, grunt work is their life until they earn a higher pay-grade.

Permissions Ability to perform One-Star through Three-Star level missions if posted or assigned by an S-Class.

A-Class -: A noteworthy Defender, you are given some credit in defeating a number of stronger enemies and for your own personal prowess. A-Class Defenders usually handle the work of being a disciple or assistant to one of the ten mighty S-Class Defender. Some work alone. This is generally were most Defenders stagnate unless they are truly made of some serious metal.

Permissions Ability to perform One-Star through Four-Star level missions if posted or assigned by an S-Class Hero.

S-Class -: One of Earth's Elite Defenders, a true hero of legend. Many know your name, and even aspire to be just like you in your exploits of fighting monsters and spiritual threats to the realm. Even other Heroes might seek to challenge you to a fight to see if you're really worthy of the title of S-Class. There are only ten Defenders of Earth allowed to hold the title of S-Class at any one point in time.
