This was it. Today was the day. It had almost sprung up on him without him realizing it, but thanks to the handy thing called calendar applications on his phone, he'd set the alarm to give him fair warning in advance because today was not a day he was going to forget. Now the present... well, that had been nearly an entire check's worth of scrambling for. Pen hadn't been exactly the most helpful sister when it came time to figuring out what to get Cassie on her big day, but he'd figured it out, nonetheless. Something that wasn't too hey, be my girlfriend?? but something that wasn't exactly hey, this is impersonal because I don't really care. Finding something in between was a LOT harder than he'd thought. So, ten til six, he came knocking on her door, wrapped box tucked behind his back in his free hand. Today was Cassadega Bright's birthday and he wasn't gonna miss it for the world.

Cass had taken the day off, Levi was pretty accommodating as a regular job's boss would be. Even if he hadn't ben, the woman was used to getting what she wanted and when push came to shove, the head honcho was a push over for her.
Of course, as far as she was concerned, most people were.
That meant her entire day was hers to do as she wished with. The morning had been spent in the company of her favorite siblings; an older brother and two of her younger sisters where they did brunch and gabbed about life. Cass might not have had much to do with the family once she moved out, but she liked catching up with the family she could stand.
A number that was smaller than it should have been for how large her family was, but she only kept around those that didn't criticize every one of her actions and were actually interesting to be around.
She'd spent some time with some of the dance crew working out a new routine for an upcoming dance off that she was pumped about and then, when he messaged her, she planned to spend the rest of her night with Alrik. He'd reached out first, which meant he got priority over her other playmates.
Her outfit was pretty lax, because she figured there would be no club hopping with Ali-bear and she looked absolutely delighted to see him when she opened the door.
Hellos were forgone as she slid her arms over his shoulders and drew him down for a nice long kiss in lieu of a greeting.

As much as he should have been expecting the kiss, Alrik Rey was not prepared. While arms slid around his neck and the shorter woman pressed against him, he nearly dropped the package out of surprise. Fumbling with the crudely wrapped box, hands flew out to take hold of her, or at the very least wrap around her.
The kiss itself was wonderful, soft, warm lips pressing against cold, chapped ones as the tall blonde stepped forward, relaxing into the greeting that she was oh so happy to offer him.
Pulling away, the dazed expression on his face was still there, color added to his tan cheeks as he grinned down at the gorgeous woman held loosely in his arms.
"Happy birthday, Cassie baby."
Talk about a fantastic start to the evening!

Cass enjoyed the way Alrik kissed her, the way he wrapped his arms around her and leaned into it, but she particularly enjoyed the way he looked at her after they separated. He never failed to show her how much he liked and appreciated her, or the fact that he was so smitten with her.
Those were her favorite kind of boys, but something about Ali made her hungry in ways the other boys didn't.
"Mmm, so proud you remembered Ali bear," she purred, pulling him in for another kiss before she dragged herself away completely, sauntering in towards the kitchen with the expectation that he'd shut the door behind him.
"Want a cupcake babe?" She asked, gesturing to the spread on island in her kitchen as she peeled back the wrapper on one and took a bite. Frosting clung to her lips and she licked it off slowly and sensually.
"I woulda been upset if one of my boyfriends forgot about my special day."

There was a swelling of pride that blossomed in his chest at her comment.
"Of course I wouldn't forget your special day, pft." Talk about a noob move! No, the woman who'd graciously taken him on as a student in the ways of romance and relationships deserved the world when it came to being spoiled for her birthday.
Unfortunately, Alrik Rey only worked at Gamestop, so while he wanted to give Cassadega Bright the world, all he could really afford was a simple charm bracelet and a gift card to the local dance store.
Girls needed new shoes and accessories for that sort of gig, right?
He watched her make her way over to the kitchen island and pluck up one of the cupcakes neatly positioned in a group. Where they had come from, he could only guess, but all thoughts flew out the window as he watched the icing paint her soft, beautiful lips and that pink little tongue as it snaked out to lick away the sugary treat.
Oh. My. God.
Swallowing hard, Alrik could only nod his head as an answer as he ambled his way slowly towards the counter, reaching out for a cupcake without letting his eyes leave the young woman's face.
"Boyfriend? Have I achieved boyfriend level status, then?"

Cassadega Bright was a young woman who was used to being watched. Knowing that she was being watched by the blonde teenager, she slid her finger across the top of the remains of her bakery treat to gather the frosting on her finger and popped it into her mouth.
The pad of her finger slid across her lip and tongue before she slid it into her mouth and sucked off the remains slowly. The draw of the finger back out of her mouth was a careful one with a pop before she settled with her elbows on the counter in a manner that accentuated her already lovely rack.
"Uh huh," she replied, popping more cupcake into her mouth. Green eyes watched Alrik with interest before she was beckoning him forward with a curled finger. "And I think the best way to celebrate our officialness and my birthday is finish that last lesson and get you some practical practice."
Teeth grazed her bottom lip when she pressed both wrists against his shoulder.
"What do you think babe? You ready to go all the way with your girl?"

Eyes drifted down to her finger, watching it glide across the remaining icing and swirl it with the pad. His own fingers nearly crushed the thin paper surrounding the cupcake in his hand, the teenager lifting the treat up to his mouth to busy his tongue before he said something foolish that might ruin this magnificent show.
It was getting rather hard, really, to pay attention to his own snack as she made a display of hers. The temperature in the room seemed to be growing warmer at an alarming rate and as the first bite of cupcake choked its way down his throat, he immediately put it back down on the counter, giving up on the effort. Probably a wise decision, in the end, as her implication had him almost wheezing on the small particle of cupcake he had managed to eat.
Holy crap!!!!
“You mean you wanna…?”
He'd expected to give her some attention on her special day but...but this had not been part of the game plan. Yeah, sure, he totally WANTED it, but if Cass had taught him anything, it was patience.
As her hands found his shoulders, he couldn't wipe away the almost goofy grin on his face, excitement evident. “You serious, Cassie? I mean, I sort of figured you'd wanna spend today letting me take care of you, y'know…”

Alrik was a perfect boyfriend because he was smart, enough, eager, and was mostly focused on making sure he pleased her. He was exactly everything she looked for when she picked up a new boytoy and he'd yet to disappoint her which nearly made her preen happily.
"Mhm," she purred, leaning in so their noses pressed together. "Been wantin' to for a while, just couldn't decide when was the right time." She brushed her nose against his in an Eskimo kiss. A slight shift of her head and Cass was kissing her newly-promoted-to-boyfriend.
Laughing when she drew back, the dancer moved to place her lip against his ear. "Oh trust me Ali bear, you're gonna spend a lot of time taking care of me." Her mouth brushed his ear, then his cheekbone when she drew away.
A hand reached for his and she began walking backward, tugging on their newly joined hands to pull the boy towards the stairs. "Playtime before is still important~"

His stomach fluttered as their noses touched, the lingering taste of icing and cupcake being chased by the taste of her mouth on his. The sugar left on her as she kissed him paled in comparison to the sweetness of her in his arms, her clinging against him. Alrik Rey had no clue what he was doing when it came to women but the fact there was one, one incredibly sexy one, willing to give him pointers on top of actually desiring to be with him was.... was....
Well, it was kickass, is what it was.
Eyebrows rose and a goofy grin spread across his nineteen year old face.
"You're the best teacher ever, Cass," he assured her, fingers tangling with hers as his longer legs followed after hers dutifully, slowing in pace to keep in rhythm with hers. "Whatever you want, it's yours - birthday rules, right??"
The first jump onto the staircase was almost too eager, the tall teenager's excitement almost palpable as he trailed after her like a puppy. "What the lady wants, the lady gets!"

Long, toned dancer legs carried her up the stairs confidently while her new boyfriend bounded excitedly after her. There was an ever present grin on her lips when she glanced back at him, never slowing or stopping on their trek to her bedroom.
"Mhm," she purred, releasing his hand only to loop arms around his neck so she could draw him in for a kiss as she walked backwards into her room. "Whatever I want, I get." That was simply how things went for one Cassadega Bright.
"And right now I want you," she reassured him, pulling him into the darkness of her room before shutting the door just in case.
Cass knew she was going to enjoy this birthday, immensely, with the help of her dear Ali bear.
