Well, for the first time in 3 years, we got a kitten. He's wonderful 3nodding and we love him so very much.
Plays fetch and everything. Weird right?!
Anyway, neutral all of a sudden my nose starts leaking, hives break out on my legs and my eyes swell.
I'm 26 years old, why is it that i'm allergic to cats?!?! gonk
Can anyone suggest solutions to help me feel better besides pills???

I'm a little stuck on 26 being "late in life." whee It's actually not super uncommon for people to develop allergies throughout their lives, though it's definitely annoying. gonk
I don't really know a lot of things to suggest other than pills like Zyrtec or Claritin, but maybe you could try just a saline nasal spray or Neti pot? I haven't tried the Neti pot, but a lot of people swear by them (just be absolutely sure to follow the directions for the water, otherwise it's possible to introduce an infection). Saline spray is a quick and easy way to kinda rinse out your nose too, and less scary than the Neti pot IMO.
I've also found some "natural inhalers" - they look like a chapstick tube, but they have a bunch of essential oils like eucalyptus and different kinds of minty stuff. You just stick it in yer nose and breathe the vapors. It's not super long-lasting or anything, but it can kinda clear the nasal passages a bit and give some relief.
