Powers
Alex is a speedster. He is capable of thinking and moving at incredible speeds. He does however currently have trouble stopping. As he is just tapping into his power his limits are unknown. Sometimes his bursts of speed come at inopportune times as he is still learning.
His top achieved speed is 120MPH, that was before he fell on his face.
His metabolism is insanely fast and he requires enough food to feed 5 full grown adults.

History
Alex was a good kid growing up. He had an apple pie life in the city. He fell in with a bad crowd when he was only 13. He learned to steal and started drinking. Drinking turned to some of the softer drugs. Eventually he got caught and he was almost sentenced to Juvie. He was skipping school and doing his own thing, he still stole from shops but he didn't hang around the same crowd. When he turned fifteen he was caught in a bad spot and knew if he didn't get out he'd get put in Juvie. Suddenly everything was moving in slow motion and he was able to zip away from the scene. That was when he discovered he was a mutant. He tried to keep his powers on the down low, but eventually he slipped up and crashed through a plate glass window at 100 miles an hour. Then the police got involved and now he's running.
