What was originally known as Alsius, Atlas Academy is Atlas's personal Huntsman Academy. It trains Huntsmen and Huntresses to become the finest, most elite fighters in the world. Additionally, it attempts to use itself as a means to recruit Huntsmen and Huntresses into Atlas's personal military.
Unlike most of the other schools, Atlas Academy is not separated from the government, which is why it has policies such as enlisting with the military. It has strict uniform policies, a militaristic view on education, and even treats its students as if they are soldiers on the battlefield. For the most part it is a military academy. While in school, the students are put under the command of a Commander who will guide them on missions, advise them in the faults and strengths, and will eventually lead them once they have graduated from the academy should they enlist in the military.
Atlas Academy has recently come under great scrutiny due to their practice of enlisting their students, of often being considered an example of Huntsmen Academy's failures in regards to separating the Huntsmen and Huntresses from a particular kingdom. Regardless, Atlas stands firm in its beliefs and militaristic lifestyle.
