It was the norm---as in patrolling and all that good stuff. Well...patrolling solo was kind of scary! While she was really happy that Sergei got the job of his dreams (?), it also kind of stunk that it meant he was super busy most of the time and they couldn't patrol as much together. Still...justice needed to be dished out!
Like right now.
Sedna picked up on a signature that was on par with her's, and she made a beeline for it. After all, any kind of chaos signature meant they were up to something naughty! It was pretty much a given. As the super senshi dropped down from the rooftop though, she was rather taken aback by the scenery. It wasn't some crammed alley or some really dark lot or...you know...the typical trope like bad places.
It was...really bright. Like, nicely so.
She was almost so thrown off by this that she almost forgot about what brought her here in the first place.
"...Hey!" She called out to the Captain, who was now easy to spot with the good lighting. "You're not up to anything nefarious right now, are you? Because if you are, I'm going to have to stop you!"

Whenever she was out in the guise of one Captain Stellerite, she kept to well lit places because it often allowed her to put herself in a better light. She thought the cliche of bad guys in dark places to be a boring one while also being detrimental to herself and the cause she had decided to back.
So, when the squeaky clean order aura advanced her way, the blonde made sure to say beneath the street lamps and she drew her hands to her chest to make herself look as docile as possible. "W-what?" She pressed fingers against her chest and looked shocked, hurt, at the accusation.
"Why would I be doing anything nefarious? I'm just-- I'm just taking a walk." Which wasn't inaccurate. "Maybe, maybe we could just chat? There's nothing to stop...from me anyway..."

At the sound of the voice, Epidote's ears perked.
High up above, lurking in the shadows on the rooftop nearby, the other blonde Captain was keeping watch, ready to pounce at Stella's signal. Bait and switch - she was the bait, he was the switch - eager to jump down and fight with whatever senshi happened to stumble their way.
Sure, sometimes it didn't always end up in a fight; Stella would occasionally find herself seducing or charming over an enemy into giving energy instead of forcibly taking it. These situations had Epi silently gagging from his lookout spot - talk about gross.
Then again, since he could never manage to convince a senshi to donate their energy, he might have simply been a little jealous.
But hearing this particular voice set off bells and alarms in his head. Peering into the distance, the familiar shape of... oh no. It was her.
The Captain.
He couldn't recall any other senshi that forced him to bleed his own blood before, so she was unmistakable. The younger man thought about trying to signal his sister, but it was too late.
Crouching down, he waited for the signal and prayed.

Sedna was baffled as she stared at the captain. Just...wanted to talk? Well, right now she wasn't doing anything, but that didn't mean she hadn't in the past! Or wasn't planning to later. Still...the fact she currently wasn't doing anything had Sedna hesitating. She didn't really like just attacking someone unless they boasted about doing bad stuff or you know, actually threatened her...but... "This isn't like....a trap is it!?" Sedna tried looking around to see if anyone else was around, and she tried sensing for any other auras, but couldn't really pick up another at the moment.

Stellerite could feel her brother's aura like a comforting blanket and was grateful that her new companion hadn't taken note of the second aura. Maybe they felt like they overlapped as the pair were on the same level. It was something she would have to test one of these days, if she was able.
Her white moon resources were rather small, especially after the loss of Kari. Paris was a wonderful addition to her collection, but he was disconnected from the rest. Which, that tidbit was great for her when it came to coaxing him to the dark side. But otherwise?
Not so helpful. But maybe the white haired senshi in front of her would be better.
"What?" She looked surprised, then hurt all over again. "No, I really just want to talk." She chewed on her lip as she exhaled, carefully stepping closer to extend her hand. "My name is Stellerite, but you could call me Stella if you wanted."

The senshi wasn't outright attacking Stella, which was a good thing. He had to keep reminding himself that it was a good thing and that maybe the blonde girl could use her wits and wiles to vanquish the otherwise dastardly Moonie.
The hairs on the back of his neck rose as he watched his older sister offer her hand out towards the Captain, though instinctively he wanted to scream out NO DON'T like they did dramatically in the movies. Because, as far as Epidote was concerned, this scene was just as dramatic as it was in those movies.
After all, his hand had already been stabbed by that no good, terrible pirate wannabe.
Of all times for wanting to be able to text her! UGH!

"Uh---" Because that's what a senshi in control of a situation said. Sedna couldn't help but back up a bit from the captain and the outstretched hand. Her own hands were held up in a disarming fashion. "Uh---nice to meet you, Stella, I think?" Sedna replied, just not really expecting such a....nice captain. "Sorry, I don't mean to be rude it's just----yanno---been energy drained, stabbed at, and almost get my starseed yanked too many times sooo---yeah." She gave the woman something of an apologetic smile. "But I wanna give you the benefit of the doubt! My name is Sedna and---" She paused, and her brows knitted. Something seemed off...but she couldn't put her finger on it. "...Uh, Stella...you're not joshing me about this being a trap, are you? You don't....you know...HAVE SOMEONE HIDING SOMEWHERE?" She actually didn't know, but she figured if she acted like she did...then that made her appear super smart. Better safe than sorry?

Uh---
Inwardly, Stellerite was grinning at the confusion of her newly found companion. It wasn't difficult to see that despite the super title, her new friend wasn't used to playing the game of hero all on her lonesome. This made her job much easier.
"It's a pleasure," she offered, with a well practiced smile which slipped when her hand went unaccepted. With a long drawn out sigh and slumping of her shoulders, her arm dropped back to her side. "Ah, that's really disheartening to hear."
Stella paused to chew on her lip, like she was nervous an contemplating something. "Some of us aren't very nice and make for bad reps---" She cut off, her arm lifting to press her fingertips against her chest, tears forming in her eyes at the accusation.
"I thought you were giving me the benefit of the doubt and now...now you're shouting such accusations."

The Captain (the senshi, not the actual Captain) seemed to be hesitant about taking Stella's bait, but that didn't come to any surprise for Epidote. The woman was crazy - and unpredictable. Of course she didn't trust the blonde girl, she probably didn't even trust her own ---
Eyes widened and the young man ducked down behind the ledge of the rooftop as Sedna yelled out about someone hiding somewhere. s**t. Crap. Hell. Had she already figured out that Epi was waiting in the wings for his moment to strike???
He was about to give up the ruse entirely, but then Stella seemed to be trying to use her womanly guilt trip tactics and his glove held tightly to the concrete edge.
Alright then - she could continue with this wolf in sheep's clothing for a little while longer, but the moment the "Captain" struck, he would too.

Sedna couldn't resist pinching herself. This felt weird. Like she was in some kind of story. "Uh...Stella?" The senshi, asked, sounding concerned but also a bit apologetic. "Yanno there's something called uh...laying it on too thick? No offense---But I kind of can't help but feeling like I'm in some weird story right now! Unless you're always like this then---" She looked bashful. "Sorry!?" She was just getting all kinds of weird feelings, and she couldn't help but keep looking off and away from the captain to look out nearby areas.

Stellerite wiped at her cheeks, sniffling.
She had to make a decision, to start full on bawling or to let Epidote join them. Part of her felt bad for leaving her brother lying in the wings waiting for something to happen. For her to give him the signal so that he could swoop in and do his thing.
"Okay," she said slowly, inhaling shakily. "I don't like going it alone, the city is a dangerous place Sedna." Tears were back in her eyes and one traveled down her face. "There are a lot of people here who want to hurt others, I really, really just want to talk. Okay?"

Snoooooooze feeeeeeeeeeeest.
Rolling his eyes, the younger Captain shook his head as he sighed, arms folding themselves across his chest as he moved to make himself more comfortable in his makeshift hideout.
Epi would admit it, his sister did have a way with others, especially when it came to getting the weak-minded Moonies on her side. He didn't have the patience for that kind of trap (as seen here, as he sat there, ready to count the cracks in the cement for the umpteenth time) but she was a master at it.
If he was lucky, he'd get a decent share of her energy haul.
If he was even luckier, he'd get his rematch with the "Captain".
Only time would tell which would happen.

Aww man. This wasn't fair at all! Stella was really crying and Sedna felt like a jerk. She was part of the Negaverse! How come she felt bad? "Yeah...I know there are, Stella...you know...just unfortunately it's a lot of people on your side who want to do the hurting of others." Sedna frowned briefly. "So if you just want to talk, what are you doing on that side? I'm down for talking, I really am---it'd be nice to, you know, understand why we're on separate sides."

Her brother was probably bored out of his mind being stuck watching for her signal that was likely never going to come at this point. Sedna was a pleasant enough person who showed that if she wasn't attacking, she likely wouldn't attack and, well Stella was playing to her emotions well enough.
"It's..." she paused, wrinkling her nose while she decided what approach to take with the white haired woman. "What do you stay on the side that you're on? What makes you think that it's better than the side that I stand on?"
She sounded honest and earnest enough.

Eyes rolled and feet kicked themselves out as he slumped down against the sidewall of the rooftop. He thought about playing with his gauntlet….then thought about the last time he unsheathed his weapon around the good Captain.
Yeah, no.
Rolling his eyes again (they felt at risk of falling out of his head at this point), the Captain waved his hand and withdrew his communication device, cracking his knuckles as he pounded out a text message to his dear partner down below.
[I’M DYIN, WHEN ARE WE GONNA BE DONEEEEEEE]
Epidote never claimed to be a very patient agent.
