He was needed. Before Alex returned from working with Draco in medical, Terra tidied the Hunter's quarters. Earth was chaotic, and he could feel it screaming. And Albert. And Alex... But first, Alex. X was busy, but Alex... Needed most. Zee was in a hellzone, Terra wagered that, but he also intended to comfort and soothe. Mercury was already hunting Zee and Pluto weas... They'd recover him. That was what mattered, and as the door opened, Terra's eyes glowed, shining a healthy, lush green as he crooned, extending a hand. "Alex, baby, I think you need a vacation."

It was taking everything Alex had to hold himself together. Shifts in medical helped; they gave him something to do and to focus on, something that kept his hands and mind on the here and now rather than what was and what could be. And with the state the world was in, there was no shortage of work to be done. But he was fraying at the seams and he knew it. So there was very little surprise on his face when he saw Terra waiting for him, and he sighed, looking down and away. "I... can't," he said slowly, feeling his old stutter trying to come back from how exhausted and emotional he was. "I j-just... I can't, Terra. Y-you - you know why. I - I can't...."

Terra grinned, strutting to his kin and cooing to him as he took his hand, humming. "Sweetheart mine, I don't think you understand, you're taking a vacation." Terra crooned, hugging him tightly. "I already have all of my favors called in to keep an eye on him." Terra beamed, leaning.

"B-but - " Alex protested, pulling away from the hug to frown at Terra even as he huddled in on himself. "I n-need to work, I'll... I'll just spend all my time worrying if I don't, y-you know that, I..." No. No, he didn't want a vacation, he didn't want to rest - if he rested his mind would attack him for daring to give it the leeway it needed to wander where it inevitably would.

"Now darling," Terra crawled, and sauntered ever closer. "We both know you are already, and that you have been. Trust me Alex." Terra perched, picking Alex up gently. "A vacation while the others seek and GUARD. You'll do better. Besides, Albert and Gracie are in hysterics as well. You I can help. You also have greater need of me." He crooked, combing Alex's hair with his fingers.

Alex huffed, but was well aware that there was nothing he could do to stop Terra at this point, so he had to simply... go along for the ride. "But I want t-to be able to help! W-where I can! It's not - it's not r-right if I just sit around and let others do everything!" Surely Terra would see reason and at least not take him too far away or for too long. Surely. Surely he would see that Alex needed to stay here and work, to be ready for when... when things finally happened...

"Honey, Alex. I know." Terra huffed, kissing the top of His' head. "But you still need to release stress, you realize... I don't want my kin to break mid-helping someone from stress. I know what to do and everything will be well.I promise!" He moved, lifting the boy airborn, and then hugged him to him, humming before teleporting. The area wasn't much, but it was Earth -- a safe, undamaged portion, and Terra moved, ruffling his hair. "Brfeathe."

"But I'll b-break if I stop," Alex grumbled, tears rising in his eyes but just as quickly wiped away as he nestled into Terra. Once he was sure no more were coming, the brunet dared to look around, and frowned thoughtfully. "...where... w-where are we, anyway?"

"An undamaged place of your planet." Terra soothed, and smiled. "You needed quiet. and I won't letyou break. Sunstar is helping." Terra hummed. "I mentioned he'd be allowed to destroy inferiours ifd they're diseased and he went for fun."
