"Mercury I'm bored." Blythe flopped on the puddle of cool, liquid siulver, huffing. They'd been at a new world for a while, and her papa hadn't come back for her to explore yet, leaving her with her kin, and finally, all her normal games played and the tease of New rendering many thyings dull finally led her to stare out a window at the world, tail tip flicking as the kitten sulked in boredom. "Mine. Mine I wanna explore. Can we explore?"

"Where at?" Mercury asked, forming into a solid shape to wrap his arms around his kin and cuddle into her. "There's a lot of places, but so much is underwater... where can we go?" He wanted to, though - of course he did. He was lonely a lot, having ascended so young, and all on his own... it was why he'd bonded so quickly and tightly to Blythe, really - she was the nearest his age aside Sol, and Sol was... Sol was Sunstar's child, which made Mercury just a little bit nervous even at the best of times...

"Maybe 'splore a beach? Anywhere, I'm tired of waiting!" Blythe huffed. Unlike Sol, she was imperious at times. Kind, sweet, trusting... But a cat. "I wanna see, I'm not scared of water, and they're been gone for eeeeeveeerrrr!"

"Well we don't have to go in the water, I guess," Mercury allowed, then nodded as he allowed color to creep over his form and he reached for Blythe's hand. "Let's go look, alright? It's better than being here alone." Far better than having to watch as Pluto took his daughter for cuddles and Mercury was left... well. Kin was nice, but he missed the family he had lost before... "We can go now!"

Blythe keeled, taking Mercury's hand before disappearing in a teleport. And once both landed, she fluffed up, looming around. "It's cold... Did they freeze?"

"I don't know if they did, but I think everything else did," Mercury said, frowning and leaning in against Blythe. His homeworld had been much, much warmer in its heyday, and he wasn't quite sure how to try to adapt his physiology for this amount of chill. "Where to now, Blythe? Can we go somewhere that's interesting and - and maybe a little warmer?"

"I see a cave?" Blythe offered. She collected Hers gently, fluffing her fur for heat. "We can try in there?" She hummed, and moved, walking for the cavern. Inside she was quite content watching, and admiring, before a soft "ork" caught her attention, and Blythe blinked at a very young bullpup wiggling over before orking scoldingly. Didn't know know that the surface was TOO COLD? And why were they so skinny THEY WOULD FREEZE! Blyther blinked. "Did we.... Uposet a native?"

"Maybe we're... somewhere forbidden?" Mercury offered as an explanation, though he wasn't really sure that was it. Were they really being scolded? What for? What had they done wrong? He blinked, and wiggled closer into Blythe's fur. Ugh, he needed better insulation, but he'd have to be able to grow to do that....

"ORK.": Forbidden? No! Dangerous, and the pup waddled over, circling before beginning to herd, Blythe squeaking as the young male began to gently headbutt to herd her in closer to the warmer sectors. It was only once deep in the crust and caves near a giant of a man that the pup let up, beginning to complain to his father. His father, whom studied both before turning to a certain large violet feline and rubbed his ear. "I did fret your young ones may come looking. And it's so good my little boy found them. Exploring the surfasce, why, they're both so small they could freeze, lord Pluto!" And THAT made Blythe pin her ears, eyes widening. Oops. "Mew."

Pluto flicked an ear in irritation when he saw that the cubs had escaped, then sighed. He gave a soft grumble of complaint and inclined his head, wordlessly telling his daughter to join him at his side right now, where it would be warmer for both her and Mercury and she would be protected. Mercury, meanwhile, was busy watching the pup and his father interact with a strangely wistful, sad expression.

Blythe pinned her ears, bringing Mercury with her as she huddled against him like a properly scolded kitten, the adult male chucxkling as he smiled. "They're welcome to explore, but the little ones just need warms." The adult beamed, nosing his pup to Pluito softly. "We welcome cubs here. Though tjhey do see awfully thin...?"
