He wasn't some stalker, even though it might seem like it, the blond had hurried home from classes and after checking what time the antique store closed he had powered up and headed that way.
Tucked into the shadows, he didn't care for anyone seeing him here hanging about, the blond sat across the street on a roof top watching the antique shop. H and Remarque needed to talk, he had a few questions for the prince. It wasn't anything bad, he wasn't hostile with the other, but he did have a few questions and wanted to learn a bit more from the other...it was about time, long past really, as far as he was concerned. He didn't know much, if anything really, about mirror space and it was because he'd never asked. He needed to know though.
With Katya in his arms covering up his aura, for now, he waited for the shop to close and his friend to make an appearance. he'd let the other know of his presence when it was safe, when the other was leaving. If Jett didn't power up he'd sent Katya after him. if he did power up...he'd have Katya stop hiding his own aura. Either way they'd talk, at least he hoped so, if he had to offer up food and drink in exchange he would. He wouldn't keep the other around talking and deny him food or drink if he needed it - they were friends...at least he liked to think of them as such. He wasn't hostile to the others court, he had no reason to be, and he would help if they needed him. He just couldn't go against his own faction.

Jett wasn’t much in the habit of powering up between work and home; the weather was chill, but he had a few errands to run in the very near area. It wasn’t worth it to bring his car around just so he could struggle to find a parking spot, so he intended to just make his stops and then head back to the car and head home.
He had already stayed a little later tonight than usual to handle a truck that had come in; the store might have closed at five, but he stayed until it was a little darker. At six thirty, the lights in the store shut off and he stepped out to lock up.
With a bag thrown over his shoulder, he glanced at his watch and adjusted the jacket that he wore. He didn’t seem to have any idea that he was being watched so, without much concern he began to walk casually down the sidewalk.
Sleet Tempest Snape I am sorry this took so long!

Moving from where he'd been hiding, jumping to the ground and keeping himself hidden, he wasn't much for dealing with civilians who thought he was a terrorist. Once on the ground he let Katya down. "Would you mind letting him know I'm here Katya. I don't mind waiting but it would be good if he knew I was here." He whispered into one furry ear. As she nodded her head, reaching up to pet his face with a single little paw, he bent to set her on the ground.
"Thank you Katya." He owed her, she was a big help really. Having her around was good for him, good for his team. Her little paws touched the ground and the Russian Blue took off after the blond man. The little hat she normally wore was no where to be seen, it stood out too much, but the little necklaces she wore were still there. If anyone failed to notice the star on her forehead those would, hopefully, give her away as not being a normal cat.
After all what sort of normal cat owner would have their pet wearing pearls? She'd had to defend them before, keep people from taking them from about her neck, and she would again if ever she needed to. She wasn't some stupid house cat that was clueless and would let people just take things from her - far from it.
Running down the sidewalk, dodging a person who failed to notice her, she made to catch up with the blond and deciding she needed his attention and leaping at him, and digging her claws into his back, was not a good idea she ran head long into his back leg while mewing as loudly as she could. She just hoped he'd turn around and notice her, she really did.

Jett was not a fan of cats; he never had been, even if he did manage to tolerate Mauvians. At least, for the sake of the Court. When he felt a pressure on the back of his leg, he almost didn’t even stop. Destiny City had enough odd things occurring that it wouldn’t have surprised him if he had some youma trying to gnaw on his leg.
His eyes narrowed and he paused, glancing down at the cat.
No, Mauvian, judging by that star on her forehead.
He looked down at her with a gruff at expression and, grumbling, knelt just enough so that he could pick her up by the scruff of her neck and hold her at eye level.
“…What?”
If she was approaching him, getting his attention, he suspected that there was something more to this encounter than just sheer dumb luck. In this instance, he preferred straight and to the point instead of just beating around the bush.

Huffing at his attitude, he really should treat a lady like her better, Katya puffed up as much as she could and reached out with both of her front paws. Placing them on the blonds cheeks and leaned in then...to lick his face. "You should be nicer to me." She huffed in his face, hoping no one heard her talking, well no one aside from Jett.
"When you are free Benitoite is waiting in the shadows. He was hoping to ask you a few things...a talk." She said tilting her head a bit. "He even said it comes with the offer of food and drink - on him." Tail swaying as best as it could.
"The least you can do is hold me properly. I've awakened one of your little ones and powered one of them up. I'm here to help your court." Or had he forgotten her running in to help against that big scary wraith thing...had he forgotten? She'd been brave and it had been really big...and she was just a cat really.

Jett blinked when the cat licked his face; it was strange enough to have her little paws on his cheek, but her rough little tongue against his skin made him stare at her blankly. It hadn’t been enough to hurt, but he clearly wasn’t used to behavior of that variety.
He grumbled after a moment, shifting positions so the cat was cradled in an arm instead of being held by her scruff. “Does he want me to be Remarque, or Jett? Because unless Benitoite already has food waiting, I think the two of us are going to stick out like a sore thumb if we try to head anywhere for a quick bite.”
He glanced around discreetly, searching any and all shadows he could lay his eyes on to see if he could make out Benitoite’s form.

"No, food isn't waiting yet. He didn't wish to order for you and guess at the food...or if you are too busy to meet." She spoke while lifting a paw, and she suspected the blond was looking for her General. Her little paw pointed towards a fairly tall building. "On the roof. The air unit on top he's hiding in those shadows." She spoke, keeping her voice low for just Jett to hear.
"If you are interested I'll let him know." She would find a way up there, or he'd come down to her once she headed in his direction. Her General was good about such things, since she couldn't climb up so high despite being a cat. She did have her limitations and he knew it. He and her, in her opinion, worked as a good team together.
"Shall I let him know your interested?" She questioned giving her best cats smile to the blond who held her, though her smile did look a bit like something a cobra might have for a facial expression. It really wasn't her fault cats had fewer facial muscles than humans or dogs.

Jett didn’t give the impression of someone who was going to wait too long to make a decision. “Always lurking in the shadows, then,” he muttered, but there was no disdain in his voice. “Tell him I’ve got time tonight, but to hurry it up. If he wants to talk, we can do it over food. I’m a cheap date, you tell him that. Any burger is good with me, but I’ll eat just about anything. You run ahead,” he set the cat down on the ground so she could relay the information to Benitoite.
“I’ll text my wife I’m going out for a bit. You just tell him to teleport down here and power down or let me know if I need to power up so we can go somewhere private and talk before we eat.”
He didn’t care what they talked about or where; they were both smart enough to be safe with what information they shared.
“…And tell him he can text me the next time he wants to meet up, will you? He’s got my number.”

Laughing the cat beamed up at the man from her place on the ground. "Of course, I'll tell him what you've said." And she took off, knowing right where her General was waiting, she wasted no time in heading for him. It took some time getting there, but he did meet her part way there, once in his arms she curled up and relayed what the blond store owner had told her.
Swatting at her General as he laughed she wasn't bothered when he teleported to ground level before powering down. Once he was in his civlian cloths, with her cradled in his arms, the walk back towards Jett was nice and easy though it was slower than teleporting. From his vantage point he was able to watch Katya head his way and moved to intercept her, she was quick on her little paws though, and she was part way up a set of stairs headed towards the roof top he had been settled on. Scooping her up swiftly he listened to he recount what his friend had told her.
"Still with hamburgers and greasy, unhealthy, food. It's a wonder he hasn't gained any weight...though I suppose the wife and life of a dark mirror keeps that from happening - he's lucky." He commented, mostly ignoring the swat she took at him for his comment against the dark mirror prince. Katya might not know Jett, not like he did, but Jett was still chaos and a senshi, of a sort, and Katya would defend him...not to mention he figured she wanted a reason to swat him in the face with one of her tiny paws.
Teleporting himself, and Katya, to the alley down below he powered down and came heading across the street towards his friend. "You are still cheap as ever when it comes to food." Rolling his eyes, nose in the air, he shook his head. "You are right though, I could have texted. I'm glad you have time though, if your wife is upset tell her I'll get her something - desert or something else if she wants." To make up for stealing her husband away for a while.
"I was just hoping to find out about what happened....recently." Not saying what he meant but figuring the other would catch on to what he meant. "Let's walk and talk, not too many people around." Shrugging his shoulders a bit. They had a short walk to get to a place for food, he wasn't sure what he'd order for himself. Maybe he'd just get a drink, as he did try and eat healthy, unlike some people.

Jett glanced up from his phone screen when Alex addressed him; he offered a quick smile as he tucked the phone into a pocket. "On the contrary, I have very expensive tastes. But burgers can be gourmet and fast, and I haven't eaten for hours. If you've got a taste for something," he gestured, "Lead the way. I could go for anything as long as it's fast."
He eyed the Mauvian, "And is either outside or allows cats, unless you want to send her away. But I think she should be entitled to a meal too after you put her through so much just to get my attention."
Jett was more than ready to go so he slid his hands into his pockets and began a casual pace that would allow Alex to lead if he wanted. He wasn't avoiding the real question but he did seem content to mull over his response. Before he answered anything substantial he asked, "What are the rumors about what happened?"

Laughing he nodded his head. "I couldn't deny her anything honestly, she wouldn't permit it." So someplace outside would wind up being the choice for them, so Katya could join them for the meal. He didn't mind feeding his friend, especially knowing the other hadn't eaten in hours. He couldn't imagine going so long without eating, not with how much either of them likely burned in calories due to the whole senshi/negaverse life they lived.
"Outside seems like it'll work for us then."
Glancing over to the other he shook his head once. "I've heard some thinking it was done on purpose...an attack from your court on everyone who was pulled in. Some don't know...some don't care. The news says people just got sick. I don't think it was an attack - not on purpose anyway. I know you and I don't think you would do anything like that...it would be a risk to your court and you care too much - so does Leto. Not to mention I hope we're close enough that you'd give me warning before any attack." So he could keep himself and his team safe, and avoid it.
"Some also don't care the reason, or if it was on purpose, they aren't happy with it." A warning to the other...to let his own know, he just didn't word it as strongly as he could have...but the message was there. Some were not happy and might lash out. "It was a mix that got pulled in...so I've no doubt the other side feels similar..." A mix bag from the negaverse and the white moon and the dark mirror court caught in the middle.
"If any of yours get caught by anyone hostile....if they need help I can offer help and shelter if it's needed. You know I don't have an issue with your court - we're all chaos. Our goals may be different but we all serve chaos." Shrugging his shoulders a bit, smiling up at his fellow blond.
"I was hoping to find out what did happen...and learn what I can about mirrorspace, since I know nothing about it." From her place in Alexandre's arms she spoke up softly, as if people might hear her and notice a talking cat. "I'll continue to awaken and power up any of yours that I can. As Alexandre said - we all serve chaos. I'd rather awaken one to your court than risk the white moon finding and awakening them instead. One less enemy in my opinion." She stated with a small huff and flick of her tail.
"I'm rather curious about mirrorspace also..."
She knew, from how much she wandered the city, that there was a half indoor half outdoor restaurant coming up about a block away. She had a feeling Alexandre would head them in that direction, so she could join them for food. It looked like the fast food, cheap, burger idea had been tossed and she was happy for that.

Jett shrugged; he knew there would be people that weren’t happy. He wasn’t happy, but then—he never was when he wasn’t able to be in control. Mirrorspace was one big mess that kept spreading no matter what they did to contain it. “Wasn’t intentional,” he confessed to Alex. “And if I was going to pull a bunch of people into Mirrorspace, I wouldn’t make it so obvious. Give me some credit.” He glanced to Katya and nodded appreciatively. “The problem is, Mirrorspace is big, and we don’t have enough Senshi in our Court to keep everything under control easily. There’s a lot we don’t know about it. Ares sort of got us involved in this thing and then left before she had to take responsibility for what she unleashed. I’m not going to lie, Mirrorspace is dangerous. And we don’t have the best control over it. But then, it would be like you trying to contain Metallia I figure. Only, you at least know who she is and what she’s doing here. Mirrorspace,” he shrugged again and shoved his hands into his pockets. “We’re doing what we can to figure things out. We’re piecing things together, slowly. We got stuck too,” he confessed, but he wasn’t happy to admit it. “Me, and a chunk of the Court. We wound up somewhere I’ve never been before. Mirrorspace is mostly just white walls and mazes. You know, speckled with mirrors. But nothing really… structured. But we got stuck in a place. A castle. With tangible things—not just something we summoned into existence.” He exhaled, as if just speaking about this was exhausting. “I don’t know if we can get back, or if we should even want to. It probably wouldn’t be safe. But I know that we didn’t pull anyone into the mirror—something else did. And we’ve contained it, but.” Jett shook his head. “We’ll need all the Dark Mirror Senshi we can get to keep that up. We’re too small to take on something as big as Mirrorspace. If we had more time, more people to dedicate to the task, I know we could get it under control. Solve all the mysteries. I mean, you two are welcome to come with me sometime, I’ll show you what I can, but I don’t know how safe it is, even now. It’s manageable again, at least.”

Shaking his head he smiled up at the other. "I know and I do give you credit. You also, as I said, would have let me know ahead of time. You're better than that." They might be on different sides but he was certain he could trust the dark mirror courts prince, he hoped the other knew he could trust the general at his side.
"I can't say that I know anything about Ara, who she was or what she did. Perhaps you can fill me in on her?" He questioned the other before he shook his head. "We know where Metallia is....her chambers - that's about it. I doubt anyone knows what she is, if she's even a she and not just something which can shift forms. What she's doing here...the end result we know - or some of us...at least in part. But not because she told us, or anything like that. Some of us saw something that will happen - or could. But that has all without a doubt changed...so the how things will arrive at that, if that is even still possible or a guarantee, is unknown. I'm almost as in the dark as you are from the sound of it....not something which pleases me in all honesty." Like Jett, Alexandre did not like being in the dark on things of great importance, and value. Knowing what was going on, and how things were being done, was important to him...and he knew little.
Walking at the others side he reached out, laying a hand on the others shoulder. "Senshi can go to space or wonders. if you can get to that palace again it might not be bad - it may hold answers. But it sounds like mirrorspace is something...something with inelegance, or at least emotions, and needs to be put in line and kept there...you talk about it almost like it's an enemy of sorts - taking it on. I wish I could offer my help. I'm not one of your court but I've been around long enough - and seen enough that maybe I could help." And he meant it. If he could help he honestly would, he'd dealt with enough that he figured he could help with whatever mirrorspace could toss at them all.
"Even if it's just training some of your court, or helping to train some, I can try and help. It sounds like anything I can offer might help in the end." Since it sounded like numbers were a huge issue for the court, and they really were a small court. It did perhaps help them though, to remain small, because most didn't notice them too much.
"I'd like to see mirrorspace - whenever possible. I'll help if I can, limited as it may be." Because he wasn't one of them. He too was aligned with chaos but it was still different; and always would be. So he might not be the best help...but he could offer.
Approaching the restaurant he had in mind for their meal, it really was a nice little place with outside and indoor seating, the ashen blond motioned towards the place so Jett knew it was the place. "Whatever you want is on me. If you want to order for the wife, something to take home, go ahead."

Jett raised a brow when Alex put his hand on his shoulder; he seemed almost amused. “Alex,” he said somewhat pointedly, though the smile was obvious on his face. “You do know I regularly visit space with these Senshi and Knights, don’t you? I was up there, on the Surrounding, before I even awakened in the Court. I like space. I’ll take as many trips as I can, with whoever will offer them to me.”
But they weren’t hear to talk about his space travels.
“We can take a trip to Mirrorspace sometime, but when it comes to actually training—actual physical combat—we’ll have to see. We’ve got a lot of girls in the group, so they’re a little picky about their fighting style. You know me, I used to box. I’ve got the muscle to back up my punches. Not that the ones I’ve trained can’t pack a punch, but everyone’s got their own style. We’ll have to see who wants to pick up what. But I appreciate the offer.”
Closer to civilization, he recognized that it wasn’t as safe to talk about powered lives, so he just flashed a grin to Alex. “Don’t worry about buying for anyone but me. I’ll be honest, I’m the only guy that’s allowed to buy my wife dinner so I can’t break my principle and let you pay.” He wasn’t going to argue over a bill though; instead, he offered, “If you’re paying this time, you know I’m paying next time.”

Oh, well that was interesting. It was also a good thing, something worth noting, the other got to see space. It was something the Negaverse couldn't do...unless someone on the other side were to actually trust any of them, which most wouldn't and for good reason. "I wasn't aware of that. Though that is perhaps a good thing - not having space entirely denied to you. I was at the Surrounding also...that was...different. I helped put together that giant youma...I still have a memory from it. I don't know if the others who helped collect the pieces do, I've never asked, I've kept that bit of information to myself for the most part." Shrugging his slender shoulders as he smiled up at his fellow blond.
"Yeah, I remember you with boxing. I never was a fighter but I took up running so I have the leg muscle and endurance. I've got a style that came about as what was needed at the time and not much else, though I do tend to use teleporting as an offensive thing rather than defensive." He'd use it to close distance and throw others off, keep them turning all about unsure where he'd turn up next. Let him get in quick jabs here and there. Anything to get the upper hand on someone.
Shaking his head he laughed at the comment about the others wife. "Alright...that sounds fair. And yeah - you can pay next time, so order whatever you like this time." It wasn't like he didn't have the money, Jett no doubt knew how much he had since the other saw how much he spent on candle holders. Aiden was...still not so happy with his candle buying habits, though he wasn't bad with the plants really.
"One of these days...we should spend a good amount of time talking." Sharing information. He'd like to know whatever he could from his friend, and he'd share what he could. It wasn't like he'd use it against the other, or his court, they both served chaos and he was ok with that. He wouldn't ask the smaller court to get involved in things, they were small and this war was a risk to them. "For now though...I think it's time to order." Pointing at some younger female, all smiles and hair in a high ponytail which swung back and forth, walking up to them.
"You first."
