Physical Description: R'kesh is nothing special to look at, most people don't even look twice at him. He's of an average height, dank black hair, chopped at odd angles as he just doesn't care anymore, just chops at it when it dangles in his face. He does however have expressive, piercing green eyes, he has scarring on his hands that he hides with thin leather gloves. He looks constantly haunted, with dark circles permanently painted around his eyes, he looks like a man who has lost everything, almost as if he's a rider who lost his Dragon, but Avroth is still very much alive.
Personality: R'kesh used to be a fun loving, happy, friendly man, he had several good friends, he worked hard, people liked him. All that changed after the death of his Weyrmate, he became withdrawn, drinking to blot out his pain, pushing away anyone who even tried to help him, he is currently very much alone aside from his Dragon. When he's mostly sober, he regrets drinking and wants to get help with his problem but reverts everytime he flies a Threadfall.

History: Generic Weyr history, weyrbrat, Impressing after a couple of Standings. Avroth's hatching was nothing spectacular and in fact went without much fanfare at all, they Impressed, walked off the Sands and began their new life, quietly. Fell in love with a greenrider, madly and deeply, head over heels in love with him, they were inseparable, they did everything together, they just ... worked really well, S'mar understood him like no other except Avroth. He was a hard and dedicated worker, he was even hopeful of a Wingsecond position. However all that changed when turns later, on a romantic picnic, Thread returned, hitting S'mar's Green Harth in the face, who betweened a split second before a clump just missed R'kesh, hitting his love in his face as he turned towards his dragon, R'kesh panicked and tried to pull the Thread off with his hands before being pulled away by Avroth and taken Between, to shatter off the Thread eating his hands. R'kesh came away with some scarring but nothing that limited movement in his hands, Avroth caught a few strands on his neck but was fine.
R'kesh continues to have flashbacks and nightmares and turned to drinking as a way of coping. He's quite likely pushing his limits within the Weyr as he is often too drunk to be of any use. His body seems to sober up during a Threadfall, likely due to adrenaline but even with Avroth, he struggles to fly a full fall. Once it's over he turns to drink again, passing out either with his dragon or well.. anywhere he was at the time. He tries to quit, especially when he realises his effect on Avroth who has gotten more pessimistic since the death of S'mar and Harth but he always fails and drinks again after a Threadfall.

Color: Brown
Size: 36'. Average build, Average all over.
Physical Description: He's got a very lovely pattern but in every other way he is a very average brown, nothing aside from his hide, stands out.
Personality: A bit like eeyore ... he knows he's average, he doesn't really look forward to much and takes disappointment on the chin. He will only really talk to other dragons if he has to, rather than him wanting to, he doesn't really have 'friends' in other dragons, a lot of it is embarrassment because of His and his drinking. When given a task he tries his best to do it, whether it be chasing a female or fighting Thread or drills, he puts his all into it but because he lacks faith in himself, he probably doesn't achieve as much as he possibly could. He tolerates his rider's drinking with much stoic patience, but he is embarrassed by him, however when R'kesh has his nightmares Avroth can't help but let the broken man curl up with him. He remembers being less down on himself but between his rider's nightmares and his drinking, Avroth struggles to be more positive like he used to be. He misses Harth often but was never as taken with the green as their riders were with each other, he did feel an affection and wishes he could have saved her but understands, nothing he could have done differently could have saved Harth or S'mar.
