Adamantine's arm stung with pain even as the blood continued to flow through her silk sleeves. Their escape was quick and she felt lightheaded and sick to her stomach.
Some from the instant teleporting, some from the injury. Most of it from witnessing the monster that was her Alpha turning on her. A shudder escaped and a hitch in her breath as Dia set them down much farther away from the general.
She didn't collapse on the ground but her legs did feel weak. Only stubborn pride kept her standing in front of the stronger corrupt. Not that she saw the woman as competition, just that she didn't want to be....a damsel.
"What...." She looked at Dia, "is going on?" A hitched breath again, as panic rose. "What happened to him?" Her free hand was pressed against the injury, applying as much pressure but it wasn't the priority on her mind. She needed to know what was happening with their general.
And Dia knew already.

Becoming an Eternal had provided perks, but teleporting out with another person still took a decent amount of energy from the candy senshi. The hand that had attached itself to the other girl quickly released its hold and she stood back, brushing back her bangs with the back of her free hand. A glance behind her shoulder and another moment's pause was all the assurance she needed that they hadn't been followed - then again, if Labyrinthite came to his senses, he'd power down and take his bloodthirsty butt back home before he caused even more trouble. Ugh. Turning back towards the stardust senshi, her nose wrinkled and her head shook at the sight of blood trying to ooze its way through the young woman's fingers. Really? He couldn't have just yelled at the woman? He had to go and--- "He really got you good, didn't he," she murmured as gloves took to the back of her head, unraveling her hair bow with two swift tugs. The large fabric was folded, then wrapped around the senshi's arm in an attempt to apply more pressure than five quivering fingers could manage. Rose eyes studied the other girl and she offered a look of pity as she finished tying a ridiculous looking bow at the end of the makeshift tourniquet. "Did he get you anywhere else?"

She almost flinched as Dia came near her, but it wasn't because she thought the woman a threat. She was feeling the adrenaline of her General attacking her and surviving pumping through her veins. She almost expected to Dia to turn too but had trusted the other woman enough not too.
The was a great deal to Adamantine. So as the tourniquet was wrapped, Adamantine did herself to compose who she was. She didn't want to embarrass herself or Dia with some weak breakdown and feeling of betrayal. She didn't want to let Dia know just how far he had hurt her.
"Nothing that won't heal in a couple days." She said as if she had experienced worst pain (physically yes.) "I have a few knicks. Some bruises." She gently tapped her midsection where his weapon had connected at some point.
"I don't understand what is going on." Adamantine did her best to keep her stoic face up, but it fell and once in a few times, it showed the unbelievable sadness and hurt she felt. "Am I not a wolf anymore? Did I fail him?"

She frowned harder when the other girl explained the wounds. She was still standing so that was good... but it looked like even a hard gust of wind could blow this poor starlit senshi over at this rate. Chase, what have you done?Shaking her head, fingers gently moved down to examine the area that the girl had pointed out. No blood seeped from the fabric, at least. If there were internal injuries, surely she'd vocalize them, right? That or fall over - whichever came first. "No, you didn't fail him." He failed you, she thought bitterly, "The General... he's having some difficulties adjusting, upon his return. He shouldn't have been out tonight, but he pushes himself more than he should - men are stubborn like that, I suppose." If only that was the only problem!

She would most likely fall over before she admitted any injuries. She knew what to look for, but falling over meant hospitals, and hospitals meant questions and questions were what she had. Not answers.
She didn't hiss as Dia examined her, but she didn't do much else. To be honest, Dia was the first girl she had allowed around her since her days of St. Mags. Even then, she didn't like people touching or being too close to her.
"Usually." She started, "If you fail something, they kill you before it becomes a problem." She looked at Dia, "You said he was playing with me before you got me, but I know thats not the case. What is making it difficult?" She breathed in as a fresh wave of pain rode over her.
"Why is he trying to kill me?" and did he try to you too?

Glances were exchanged as the injured girl continued with her questions. They were legitimate questions - questions she deserved answers to. Answers that Dia knew she couldn't properly provide. "I don't believe he was in his right mind when you ran into him," the older senshi said carefully, mindful of what kind of impact her words could hold, especially if she said the wrong thing. "He's..." Sucking in a breath, she exhaled and blew away a wayward pink curl that dared to dangle in front of her face. Ugh, this was harder than she thought it'd be. Why hadn't she just dropped her off and called it a night? Oh, right. Because she knew the betrayed feeling that Ada was currently fighting with, first hand. Double ugh."It isn't who you are, it's what you are." Hands went up to gesture helplessly around. Explanations were not the candy senshi's strongest suit. "The same goes for myself. While we're on the right side, he still recognizes us as senshi - the enemy on the wrong side. It's hard for him to differentiate, I think?"

Adamantine's face completely fell and her body bagged.
"I cannot stop what I am." She felt the defeat, and the hurt. She had not asked to be a corrupt senshi, and it was Chase who brought her to this world as such. So she powered down and looked away from Dia, the more elegant stronger of the two.
"Then I should probably not be in my senshi form anytime soon." She closed her eyes, "Would he still attack me if I came to his as Regan?"

For all the selfish feelings Dia harbored to herself, she couldn't help but feel a pang of empathy for the starry senshi as her expression crashed even harder. The girl was taking the news about as poorly as Dia had, when she realized the full extent of her General having turned on her instead of the white flash of panic and anger at being swung at. Pearls and lace faded as she stepped forward to place a hand on the other girl's shoulder, mindful of the pain and injuries she still possessed. Prissy didn't look nearly as glamorous as her senshi form, but the thin-lipped grimace had crossed over while the frills and ruffles had not. "I don't know, honestly." As easy as it would be to lie to the woman, Regan deserved the truth. It had been easy for Chase to slip into an aggressive state even without his General form, when he wasn't being purposefully withdrawn and distant. "It's probably best to give him a little while. He's been through a lot." At least, it was easy to assume he'd been through a lot. A few minutes of silence passed between them, Prissy's gaze moving back and forth between the quiet girl and the quiet ambience of the rooftops around them. Finally, her hand slipped down to take hold of the younger woman's as she tugged her towards the rooftop's exit. "Let's get you home, okay?"

Regan didn't bother making much more noise. She dutiful followed the candy senshi off the roof and home.
Not the home that Chase had opened up to her no.
To the start of where she was trying to escape it all.
"Thank you for helping me." Regan didn't know the candy senshi well but to have her there was a small comfort. She didn't have many friends besides Chase, and while she knew Prissy didn't consider her as such, she was grateful the eternal had been there when she had needed her most.
Once home, she sat back in her apartment and let tears flow.
