[Duel] A Rumor (Mazin x Sekhmet)

Taking deliberate steps, Mazin was fairly certain he had come to the right place. After breaking away on his own, he had started searching for his beloved younger sister, Kaishori. His head had finally felt clear for the first time, and of course she was the first thing he had thought of. It had taken so long to even hear a whisper of her - luckily, they shared some markings, so it made describing her much easier.

It had taken years - he'd thought that he would've just chanced upon her at some point, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. After asking everyone he came across, he had slowly gathered the pieces - at least, what he thought were the pieces. So far, they had led him here - to the edge of this land, apparently inhabited by fierce warriors. He had heard rumors of its inhabitants, but he wasn't sure if he should trust them or not. After all, if his sister was here, it must not be too fearsome. His sister was strong, but she wouldn't willingly come to live in a place that was filled with hateful lions.

As he kept his slow stride, his eyes were on the horizon. Another rumor that had reached his ears is that one must fight their way in. If he wanted to see if she was here, he would have to prepare himself for this. When he was younger, he had been quite the brawler, but he wasn't sure if those skills would still be as strong today. Since he'd been on his own, he hadn't had to have too many fights, but his nerves were prepared.

Mazin must have been close to the border, because it didn't take long for another figure to come into view. As they neared, he could see that the lioness intended to battle. At the very least, he now knew the rumors were true. He took a few deep breaths, steeling his nerves and quickening his pace. He was prepared, but he wasn't sure what to expect.

"You have assumed correctly." Narrowing his eyes, Mazin decided to dive right in. His pace increased, and he made a few large bounds before leaping at the female, front paws extended. With a slight twist, his left paw reared back, swiping at the female. He wasn't sure what the parameters for injury were in these battles, so he tried to not be too vicious.
