Paws clicked against the marble flooring as green eyes drank in the dark scenery around them. The Negaverse's castle was ominous as it always was, but Bob could care less about intimidation - no, save for the new communication center, the castle was boring to inquisitive minds like his own. Youma, energy, members of varying ranks going in and out of rooms, no doubt discussing future nefarious plottings...
Yeah, no.
He only bothered showing up when there was a need (one of those needs also including finding a place to sleep on the fly, if it was raining and windows found themselves locked). And today... well, today he had an actual need that didn't relate to his own fluffy butt.
A head turn and a glance backwards were made to ensure his ward was following him, despite the fact her legs were far longer and she was probably, in fact, slowing down her own pace to allow him to lead the way.
"So I already filled out the paperwork, but considering our conversations of late... I figured it would be better to hold off on this until you were ready."
His furry butt dropped suddenly in the middle of the open space, the cat scooting around as if to say this spot will do just fine. "If you're gonna keep fighting for the Negaverse, I think it's time that it helped you out a little bit more."
Not to mention it would help keep her and her brash decisions alive, a promising hope for the Mau.

For the most part, Bob was a straight forward kinda mau when it came to Rory and her alter ego Hydra, so when he was being cryptic it made the corrupt super curious. Still, she followed behind him at a leisurely pace with the heels of her boots clicking against the stone pavement.
"Paperwork?" She echoed, surprise evident in her voice. Bob never struck her as the one to care to do paperwork for any reason. "What do you--" She trailed off, squinting at him after the rest of his sentence registered.
The cat had plopped his butt on the ground and was scooting around like he had some bad itch, so Hydra stopped and took the time to fold her arms over her chest and frown at him.
"What's that suppose to mean?" She huffed.
As far as she was concerned she could handle herself.

Ears twitched as he heard her tone. Had he any hands, they would have risen up to sign the universal gesture for wait a minute now. As it was, he wasn't in any mood to try to balance on two feet, so he used his paws instead - only slightly losing its meaning in translation, to have a fat cat do it in place of a human.
"Hey, hey, it's a good thing, I promise."
Green eyes looked up at her mischievously as a grin spread over his furry face. There was a hint of worry masked by the sheer amount of fur near his eyebrows, Bob actually hesitant about something for a change. Was she going to be miffed? She hadn't been happy the last time he'd brought her in for the same thing, which was why he'd decided to be so round-about with the topic.
Rising from his seat, he took a moment to prepare himself before doing a backflip. It wasn't the most graceful backflip by any means, but a small crystal produced itself from his hidden subspace, nevertheless.
Plucking up the crystal between his teeth, he padded over to the teenager and lifted his head, offering the small object.
"mmFfFmmfFf--"

Hydra's eyes narrowed at Bob's gesture and she nearly hrmphed him.
"Your idea of a good thing and my idea of one seems to vastly differ," she countered, the teen squinting at the fat cat as he grinned at her. That grin meant he was up to something, which usually meant that he was up to no good.
Everything was suspicious and the senshi couldn't help but be skeptical of him and anything he might have up his metaphorical sleeves. It didn't help that he looked worried about whatever he was doing. The expression was brief, but she noticed it anyway and it resulted in her chewing on her lip with nerves.
Tentatively she crouched, extended her hand out for whatever he had produced from his backflip and carried in his mouth. "What's this?"

"Promotion crystal," he said, matter-of-factly, "It's time for Super Hydra to level up, so to speak."
His tail swooshed around, large and fiery in color as green eyes studied the teenager's expression. "You've been giving off a lot of energy lately and at first, I couldn't figure out why - but you gotta forgive an old Mau, I'm not used to recognizing these sort of signs at first."
Plus, being as lazy as he was... work didn't always appear as work.
"You deserve more power. Power to help you grow, power to help you protect."
Eyebrows rose and he gave her a look before sauntering forward, sweeping his large body through her legs as he rubbed against her with his furry, large body. "Boyfriends, favorite cats, friends - you'll be able to do even more with this power.... if you want it, of course."
Eyes flicked to the crystal once more, then back to the senshi. "Hold it up to your chest and concentrate - let the energy come to you. It'll enhance your starseed... or y'know, however these nutty things work."

She still looked at him skeptically.
Nothing Bob was saying made any sense to her and she didn't understand why they weren't just going to see one of the General-Sovereigns like last time. There'd been no 'promotion crystal' for her to hold or any of this stupid 'concentrate and let the energy come to you' nonsense.
"This sounds stupid," she said blandly, barely examining the crystal. Her apathy was showing, flaring to life in the wake of everything emotionally draining. "Sure." The sarcasm couldn't be missed but she did what the fat cat had instructed. This didn't feel like it hurt quite the same way having someone's hand in her chest and pumping chaos into it, but it still stung and she winced, nearly throwing the crystal away only to find that it was...over.
And she had changed.

His ears flattened immediately as she announced how stupid the concept was. Her approach was careless - clearly she didn't know how hard it was for a cat to do paperwork, of all things - and unkind, almost to the point where Bob was having second thoughts about whether or not he'd chosen the right time to approach her about this.
Nevertheless, she held up the crystal and did as he requested, Chaos's magic taking hold of the Super senshi and forming her into something new. Something more powerful. Something Eternal.
Ears perked up as he watched her change, a surge of pride blooming in his furry, matted chest. Large wings had sprouted from her back, her hair fashioned itself into a strong, beautiful braid and even her stance itself seemed to exude a new amount of power.
"Eternal Hydra!" He chirped, unable to contain his excitement, "Look at you, my baby girl's growing up!"

Her hair was no longer a free flowing mess of strands that could have easily been tripped on. No, it was pleated back into a thick, heavy braid that was ultimately mostly out of the way. Sure, it could have still been a liability, but no where near the caliber the hair style of her super outfit had been. Her skirt was longer, layered and she was surprised but grateful about the fact that she no longer felt like bending over would expose her butt.
Behind her instead the bow, she found a pair of large bat looking wings that stretched out behind her.
Okay, that was weird and a little impractical but...overall? She felt powerful in a way she hadn't since she'd first 'leveled up'.
While she still thought the whole thing was stupid she couldn't help but grin at the maine coon because he was so excited. Carefully she sunk to her knees and held open her arms for him. "You did good Bob."

The Mau didn't think twice when it came to the open invitation held out to him, the orange cat practically leaping into the Eternal senshi’s arms with gusto. He didn't consider his weight to be a struggle for the young woman but, then again, Rory and Hydra both had plenty of experience when it came to catching and lifting the twenty pound cat and this proved to be no exception.
“You're gonna do great things, kid,” he preened as he nuzzled his head beneath her chin, whiskers twitching as they brushed against her pale skin. “I just know it.”
In the meantime, however, her greatness would come in the form of twin tuna sandwiches, a simple yet delicious way they soon celebrated the special occasion together.
