Wren returned home in a very calm looking state, having taken the scenic route to avoid screaming in people's ears. While Albert was cajoling his father for help getting her OUT without a copybody (which would probably mess her up due the mass coding required), Wren had taken up exploring the servers. After all, Forte loved taking her to explore and saw no problems with her stuck, despite Albert's complaints contrary, but it was in these trips she met... A navi in the family. While it wasn't long, Wren was taking the long way home due to a rather unforseen problem, and popped onto Alex;'s terminal at last after checking in to whine. "ALEX HELP. HELP I HAVE PROBLEMS. I WANNA KISS A NET NAVI." Redbud-Tree That's an understatement Wren.

Alex was normally happier to inhabit a copyroid than to hang out in the net, but with Wren trapped there he'd taken to staying in it more often, mostly to keep an extra set of eyes on his cousin besides Forte - since it was his fault Wren had gotten trapped in the first place. He was still kind of irritated about that, if mostly because he had missed two game tournaments he could have won due to having to take on this extra responsibility - and boy, did Wren need that extra watchers. Why did she keep ending up in fights??? Forte was the one who could handle those, not her! Sigh. Cousins were trouble. Though... he wasn't exactly in a bad mood right now - for reasons he wasn't sure he wanted to (or could) disclose just yet - so he grinned at his cousin instead. "How's that a problem? I can't find a thing wrong with it." It was a gentle reminder that he, technically, was a net navi himself, along with giving her an opening to gush. Which she clearly wanted to do.

"You're not. I mean." Wren flopped into Alex and whined. "You're different! You aren't militaqry grade on top of gorgeous and OH MY GOD I WANT TO JUST..." Hormones? Yep, before she buried in Alex to scream his a padded shoulder, clinging to her cousin several moments. "OH MY GOD AND HE WAS JUST RIGHT. ON THE SERVER. GRAMPS DIDN'T WARM ME. SO I'M MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS AND THIS GODS DAMN ADONIS IS SITTING THERE DOING NOTHING BUT SEXYING UP THE ROOM AND OH GOD." Wren wailed, and flopped on her side. "And I'm so stupid and boring and plain and trouble that he probably thought I was some crazy weirdo on looks and UGH ALEX MY LIFE IS OVER." Wren groaned, then sighed. "But hey, how was the tourney? Let's focus on the important matters and not my agonizing death of embarressment at being stupid." It was an open invitation to change topics, or try... Someone was twitterpated.

Wow. Wren... really had it bad. Huh. And for someone she had apparently just wandered past? And a military-grade navi,at that! ... Not that it could be any weirder than his own experience, now that he thought about it. "You're none of those things, you know, but I doubt a military-grade's going to be available any time soon," he said, then flopped on his back beside her and shrugged. "Didn't go - Between your dad losing it over you being stuck, and mine fussing over him, it just isn't worth going anywhere right now." Besides, he did have a little more reason to stay in the 'net, given... heehee.... Was he blushing? Probably.

"I'm going to point out our cousin has a Military-Grade, and he's usually available." Wren noted. The golden net navi really was usually around -- and she didn't note what they all knew. With his original Operator passed on (Read: Murdered) and the kids' father being a flakey a*****e and oblivious, the poor thing had to pose as a father. Still! It counted! "But UUUGGGHHH why did he have to be there ruining my life Alex? NOW I'M STUCK THINKING ABOUT THAT GORGEOUS b*****d AND I CAN'T SLEEP AND LET MY BRAIN FOCUS ELSEWHERE!" It was unfair, truly. TRULY the world was cruel and awful. "This is my punishment for not asking. This is it. My personal hell.I see the most dead sexy net naviu in creation, and he's military-grade so he's probably busy and wouldn't think of a civilian and he's probably aro and-- OH FATE YOU BETRAYED MEEEE!" Wren was having an Albert-level fit of melodrama, and after a few minutes, looked to Alex. "If you didn't go wehat DID you do?"

"Fate can't betray you if you haven't tested it yet," Alex said, deadpanning at his cousin's shenanigans. She was entirely too much like Uncle Albert sometimes. He reached over and booped her nose - then recoiled from her question and looked away, waving it off. "Nowhere important!" He definitely wasn't watching a certain person he'd seen in passing a few day ago. And he absolutely wasn't taking time out of his day to do so until he could work up the courage to speak to him... Nope!

"Well it's more interesting than agony over a hopeless situation. I'm not THAT deluded Alex." Wren rolled over, poking Alex idly and hummed, shrugging. "Legitimately, what did you dooooo?" Anything to avoid fixating really. She.... Didn't want to think about things for the moment. At all.

"...Went somewhere," Alex said, aware that such a tiny answer was only going to fue his cousin's curiosity even further, but unable and unwilling to elaborate. Not that it was going to matter in the end, with just how much he was blushing. "Does it matter? It wasn't where your new crush is, I know that for sure!"

"Ummmm..." Alex whimpered, face turning a brighter shade of red as he slowly rolled over and grabbed Wren, smushing his face into her side as he mumbled an unintelligible 'explanation' about who and what he had been so taken by. There. He'd told her, but maybe she wouldn't understand and would leave him alone!

"Could talk to him." Wren drawled. She didn't understand much, but she DID like helping. "I have some things that'd fit your copy body. And I'm stuck here, so you can wear my stuff. Comb your hair extra nice, maybe see if he wants to join you for a gaming tourney, or something. You gotta start on a friend base before you hit on him." Wren nodded, wagging a finger. "Then move up. Alphys says that's the right way to do it and far safer than anime."

Alex shook his head and whined, pulling away from Wren enough to peer at her with distressed green eyes. "I can't! There's something - he's not exactly - mmmmmmmfffffff." And he buried his face again as he whined. This wasn't fair, he was supposed to be teasing Wren - or at least helping keep her safe - but. But she was just half-teasing half encouraging him instead!

"No - it's - he has weird readings, and I can't just walk up and ask him if he's like me, or something else, or - I don't want to be rude!" Now Alex whimpered more than whined, curling against Wren in a mixture of embarrassment and despair. The theatrics ran strong in this family.
