 Bel had just entered the library. "Oh, I do hope there are some new choose your own adventure books, those are the best. And maybe they got some of the books on my list turned in. Those stupid kids can't keep them forever ya kno" she paused "well that wouldn't be very nice, surely they have to bring them back some time. And so what." She made her way over to the newly released section. "Steak be quiet I cant hear myself think. Now, what shelf would that be on, nope, nope, nope? " She picked up one book at a time half tossing them behind her with each dismissal. Steak ducked every time for he was sure she was aiming at him.

-Being in buildings was horrible, or so he was always telling himself. Trinket had never wanted to start school, he wanted to live in a tree like his mum. But no, she insisted on him going and learning at least a little bit from the other way of life, and he was a good enough child that he complied. His favorite place was the libraries. They were usually quiet, and he could pick and choose what to learn about. He always took some books home to read to his mum, and he was always proud to add to his growing collection of books. That his mother, today of all days, told him he needed to take back.
So, stack of books in arm and a note from his mother apologizing for his behavior, he sat them down on the first shelf he could find to rest his poor arms...only to have to duck as a book went right for him! For a moment, he wondered if he was that much in trouble that the librarian would actually throw a book at his head!
But...nope. Just someone tossing books around as they...looked for another book?
"...Want help?" His voice was so quiet, it would be a miracle id he'd been heard.

Bel frowned "NONE OF THIS WORKS. What am I going to do? I can't create my own adventure if there is no adventure to create! Steak you are in my way" Bel spun suddenly going to look at the shelf behind her. She pushed her tail out of the way. That is when her eyes met another freshling. "OH maybe they can help us. Maybe they have the book we want." She paused for a second straightening her hair almost as if she believed the other hadn't seen her yet. "What books do you have there? Was that too subtle should I be a little more aggressive? What if they have the best adventure. We musn't let them have it now, should we? STEAK be quiet! I am talking to this fine..." she eyed the freshling up or down. "....sir? mam? OH GOD, there I go assuming their gender again. I'm sure if I just wait it will come out naturally through our talks."

-"....Uh...." Well, this freshling sure put a new twist on 'speaking your mind', and for a moment, Trinket wasn't sure of how to react. Walking away would be rude, he didn't know if addressing 'out loud thoughts' would be rude, and his mum would be really cross if she found out he wasn't even trying to make friends.
"Maybe I can help you? If I know what you're looking for?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side, some of his hair falling into his face. "I...Have a lot. Mostly about flowers, this time. Were you looking for Flowers? Or something else?" He chose, for now, to try and focus on the important things.
