Now that they were rested both Alkidike were ready to go back at it. Smirking Danika picked up her training weapons, "Seems like I'll go first again." This time she would try to take up faster attacks and see how doing Tyiva's style could help her in battle...in would be hard to pick up, but Danika was optimistic. It would just take a few bruises first certainly.

It was a blow, but a glancing one. Tyiva was surprised by how the young Mystic already seemed intent upon learning her own dance. The moves weren't as strength heavy and seemed lighter, faster much more like her own. But Tyiva wasn't about to let that slide, "You're still not fast enough for this!" She called out with a small grin as she shifted her position in favor of doing another Dancing Petals attack.

She knew that her friend had said there would be no mercy, something Danika appreciated when it came to honestly learning from a mentor but it was still harsh. Each blow felt like a new bruise spreading across her skin and she could only assume how lethal Tyiva's attack was when it actually had real blades to follow with it. But Danika simply gritted her teeth against the pain. She wanted to learn and quickly, right? Then she would keep going!

It wasn't truly fair to go all out on someone who was still just training but Tyiva knew that if she held back now the young mystic would not forgive her. Both understood the new threat of the Dretch and the dire need to push themselves until they got stronger was there. Tyiva could only put her faith in Danika as she continued to lash out with new attacks, each one as brutal as the first. But for once Danika surprised her with her soft blow and Tyiva actually found herself missing. A small phantom of a smile crossed her features before she twisted to prepare for the next move...

Danika was honestly surprised that Tyiva had missed her. A small blooming feeling twisted in her guts before she shook her head - no she shouldn't let one small victory distract her from the rest of their battle. She had only landed a weak blow after all and there was still much more for her to learn. But it didn't mean that she could ignore an opening either so once more Danika threw herself forward to hit the other Alkidike with a solid blow to the lower stomach...

Tyiva felt the air rush out of her lungs as Danika landed the solid blow to her. Flushed from surprise at the sudden pain Tyiva found herself studying the other Alkidike a moment before forcing her body to move, "Nice." She managed to whisper before twisting so that she could try and knock the mystic's legs out from under her. If she could do that then perhaps this session would end shortly and she could work on getting her breath back from that blow....MISS!

Another miss? Danika smiled as Tyiva faltered in her attempts at sweeping a blow to the legs. It seemed her dance had actually caught the other Alkidike by surprise and for the moment it gave Danika a brief hope for victory this match. She would just have to try and see what this next attack did...but alas she stumbled herself and swept her blades through air instead of her opponent.

She felt the world stilling around her and Tyiva knew that if she were to end this then she would have to do it now before the young mystic managed another good blow. It was that knowledge that allowed her twist backwards and to quickly do a flurry of blows from the side in order to wear Danika down.

Ah, her stumble had allowed Tyiva to recover. Danika realized the bitter truth as the flurry of attacks hit her. Wincing against the pain Danika faltered backwards until she finally dropped her practice weapons, "Enough, enough." The Alkidike lowered her head and gave a sheepish smile to her friend, "Seems I'm still a bit behind you..."
