Danika was thankful that Tyiva had come back safe and sound but she wasn't certain how training would be the best thing for them at the moment, "Are you positive that you wish to do this?" She asked as she brandished her blades, "You have just returned...but I shall oblige." That stated she darted forward with an attack.

Tyiva smiled as the young mystic came towards her, "Yes, I am certain." She replied before moving to catch the young mystic's attack on a shoulder. Thankfully they were using dulled blades that couldn't cut the skin and only would bruise them, something that was bound to happen with the way that Danika's attack caught her. "This time I want to see what your strength is at so I won't be dodging much, do your best."
She shifted on her feet and smiled towards the other Alkidike, "However I did not say that I wouldn't fight back, Danika." Tyiva held her training blades out towards the mystic, "Have you truly learned steps of the dance while I've been away?" They would see, now wouldn't they? Still she was only warming up and not truly intent on harming her friend just yet so Tyiva shifted at the last moment for a miss rather than a true attack...

"Then attack me back!" Danika pursed her lips in a pout as she noticed the subtle shift of the other Alkidike's steps, "Don't look down on me, Tyiva!" She had been practicing so much for this! Day after day and even with Taka so there was no reason for the Blade to hesitate in her attacks. If she wished to see the dance then she would see the dance indeed.
But not yet since Danika copied her friend's movements by moving to the side for a definite miss, "Now let's try this again..."

Oh really Danika? Tyiva could play this game as well and with a smirk the Alkidike once again danced to the right side of her opponent, "I want you to hit me so I can see how strong you are. So come on!"

Danika winced at the sudden hit. It seemed Tyiva had gotten tired of just playing around. I suppose I should see what I'm capable of now then. With a flick of her wrists the woman turned her feet so that she could begin the dance that Taka had taught her. It wasn't as elegant as Tyiva's but it was stronger and more forceful than the speed that she had seen from her friend. The change in her blows, however, was noticed as she aimed straight for the other Alk's side with her weapons...

Ah, it seemed that even Danika had grown tired of their game. Tyiva took a moment to inspect how the other Alkidike twisted before she performed the petal dance and a small smile flickered over her features. She could tell that whoever had trained Danika in the dance was a bit more brutish than herself - something she would have to alter by training with Danika for the brief period that she was home. To do so she would have to show Danika her own version of the dance, something very different from other Alkidikes as was her family's tradition in their path to becoming a sacred heart.

She was impressed by how Tyiva seemed a bit shaken by her dance, but the next thing Danika knew she was getting attacked in turn. A true warrior never stopped in battle to lick their wounds, right? It seemed she would have to try and retaliate!

"Catch your breath if needed." Taunted Tyiva lightly as she swept past Danika again for another attack, "I would show a bit more mercy, but how else will you learn?" That stated she went in for a final blow as she felt the training session was over.

"True." Danika raised a hand before falling backwards onto the ground. Wincing as her bottom connected with the hard dirt the Alkidike offered a small smile to Tyiva, "I think you made your point shall we break?"
She admitted defeat - she had a lot to learn still when it came to fighting.
