We are releasing new features on HTML5 because flash is no longer supported, while we cannot renew all flash games that had been built, we can only suggest Gaians to use a different browser to access flash based games on Gaia.


Those items are likely to be Pop Square exclusives (unless stated otherwise, i.e. Slimy Intentions). As the stream is still in beta, we currently only have it open to those who have supported/funded the site for now, but we plan to have it open to all the users in the future—and all the items in Pop Square, have a chance to make a comeback as well.

Turns out I had a bug where some parts of the event ended two days ago. I've fixed the issue and just released a new patch to the servers. Sorry about that!

Black Friday is on!

This is definitely something we hear you on and don't want Gaians to experience, so we're investigating what we can do about these.

I'm looking into building a reporting tool so that we can cancel those ad providers. Hope I'll figure out a way to get the provider as they usually get linked externally.

Yeah, I definitely hear you on Runway and the need for help with it. Right now our mod team is really small and the support team in general is small so we haven't been able to give it as much attention as we want, but it is on our list of things to keep an constant eye on so while we don't have an immediate plan of action, we'll try to do a better job of trying to maintain the integrity of that feature.

Wow I would love to add them to the roster. Let me check and see where they came from. I have some recolored monsters I'd like to add pretty soon. It'd be sweet to have some new rings too

Unfortunately we will be removing that old arranger once we have the new one up.

Not sure about the type of item, as "donation" item type actually stands for any item type that provides a choice to open. There might had been event items in the past that we removed, which might cause this type of issues also.

We certainly can have a non-flash version of astra item. We've been thinking through different animation ideas but it's a lot of work, and more importantly it takes up a lot more space than Flash as HTML5 don't actually have real animation abilities other than to animate things frame by frame like an animated GIF. Anything we do in the future will probably be similar to the animated background effects.

In some cases, a conversion may not even be possible. We are looking at alternatives.

We'll be at Fanime as usual next year! Any suggestions as to what else you'd like to see?

Based on user reports and our own internal research we believe that we have addressed a lot of the major bugs that were causing a majority of the issues with Angel Subscription. There are still some other, smaller, bugs that we have with the system but it seems pretty safe right now. Though we are still holding off any official promotion until we address some of the other bugs.

Well the Aconite event is the first attempt as this type of forum game. I think with some refinement we can make this type of game a lot of fun. We'll probably take another stab at it next year.

We just launched the feature and still need to find out how to moderate it properly, but we should get that figured out really soon. Do note that anyone breaking TOS in the chat will still face punishment on Gaia!

Maintaining a reasonable economy had been our goal with the elimination of gold gen and the new Platinum currency system. We would never do anything that would jeopardize our efforts, and ruin the Gaia user experience. Goldgens are harmful as they they gave an unreasonable amount of gold over amount of GCash spent, and provide a overwhelmingly high advantage to funders to gain gold much easier than buying and selling GC items, and inflating the market along with it. The promotion for Mix10 is a sponsorship that in its essence do not come close to providing the amount of value to anyone who spend GC and sell items for gold in the marketplace, and the volume of gold granted from the sponsorship is a fraction of the average gold earned on Gaia. Please be assured that we monitor these promotions very carefully and we would make major adjustments if they pose any threats to the stability of Gaia's economy.

As the stream is still in it's early stages, it has only had the ability to hold 50-200~ people in it at a time. When the stream started it was just SCAS and staff (and even then the page was struggling to hold everyone), then the pool opened up to recent funders, then 3 months, 6 months, this year, etc. In these early stages, we're just opening it up to a small audience to see the limitations and just to say thank you for your support. This is a product that, once ready, can be pushed out to all Gaians!
