It was surprsing to see Bernard around here. Usually he didn't go anywhere near the alleyways within the city. He would much rather walk on the sidewalk like a proper cat. And so he had found himself following a delcious smell while he had been on the sidewalk and had accidentally followed it to the restaurant. Bernard looked up at it, and while he could tell it was closing, he sighed. As much as he liked being a cat, he also wished that he could just go up and order some food like a normal human. And while his owners might let him take a credit card, those in the restaurant would freak out.

He supposed there were some problems with being a Guardian Cat.

He saw a movement out of the corner of his eye though, and felt what seemed to be another Guardian aura. Interesting he thought as his fur-stache curled a bit. He always liked to meet other Guardians. Although he wouldn't admit it, he did feel a bit alone if he didn't see one every once in a while. Another problem with being a Guardian Cat. Tonight it seemed he was finding many of those.

He followed the smell and aura of the other kitty to under one of the tables on the patio of the restaurant, and Bernard blanched a bit at realizing he would have to make a jump for it, even though it was only a foot off the ground. With a dramatic sigh, he readied himself for it as much as possible, wiggling his large behind as he did so, and managed to make the jump! Though his back legs didn't quite make it with him, which meant he had to drag himself up a bit.

After a bit though he was finally on the patio, and panting, but finally able to see the other cat. It was one that was much smaller than he, but the cat seemed to have snagged a good meal by the smell of it.

He decided to introduce himself. Fur-stache curled, he sauntered over to the other kitty. "That food smells delicious. Did you get it from here?"

Bernard felt a bit bad that he had startled the poor kitty. But that's what cats were known for, their silence when moving around. Bernard thought the struggle of getting up would have alerted the other cat though. He saw the bowl being pushed towards him and his fur-stache curled a bit more. "Well, thank you for sharing. Though I'm not sure if one such as myself can act cute enough to come here regularly." He also didn't have the energy to do so. He had barely made it here after all. He would be sleeping all the next day just to make up for it!

He was surprised at the bow, but tried as well as he could to bow in return. Clearly this guardian cat was from somewhere else! He carefully considered all of the cat's questions, mulling over each one. Luckily he was able to remember them all. "I'm not necessarily new to town, but a bit new to being a Guardian cat, so I do not know Ash-denka, and I don't have any senshi yet." He would not admit it was because he had mostly been lazy about it, and had just been doing most of the same stuff that he had been already before he became a Guardian.

He nodded his head yes in response. "Yes please, thank you so much for sharing, I am famished." If one looked at him, he could stand to be famished for a couple of days at least. He picked up a shrimp and ate it quickly but as elegantly as he could. "My name is Bernard, and it is a pleasure to meet you... I'm sorry, I never got your name. But my house isn't around here. I managed to catch a bus that I slept on and now I'm a bit lost, but the food will help me getting home." He didn't want to act as though he wanted all of Itsuki's food. He wasn't starving after all. But he did need frequent rests to walk a long ways. He mentioned to the other that he didn't have a favorite senshi, that he often enjoyed reading, soap operas, and napping, and no, he did not have thumbs yet. He poked at the shrimp a bit more. "What about you? Want to tell me a bit about yourself sir?"
