Tracking them was idiotically easy. Using Laodica's family name, Coffinitefound her 'parents' -- or, rather, legal guardians - enjoying time working in Destiny City... Without reaching to their own child. That would have disgusted him as it was, but they'd not known she'd missed school due illness thanks to a 'helpful cousin', and the confrontation served to inflame his blood frther. So, in retaliation, two terrified, pathetic, selfish mortals didn't recieve benefit of a fast, gentle death. No, in his rage Coffinite had been slow and meticulous, ignoring bloodstains to make sure their pain was felt tenfold. He was already damned by Karma, so it really didn't matter now if he sullied it -- and when they lay, gulping to breathe - then he'd ripped the starseeds from their breasts. But he didn't consume them. He was too classy to consider souls - especially tainted ones. He instead had something better in mind. He'd let them go to the cause. They didn't deserve to get away. The officer moved out into the street patiently, grateful the night was so still, and he stopped out, beginning to walk towads his own little shop peacefully. It was a good deed, he reminded himself. A deed needed to help Laodica be safe, to be free of the obvious neglect, so when he felkt a stronger Order aura in the area, he wasn't, for once, immediately confrontational. Instead, he simply scowled, and waited to tell the meddler off. "Syalking," He drawled, "Isn't very polite."

"Nor is biting someone's nose," Kells responded, moving closer to the half-youma from where he had been following him. He'd seen the monstrous negaverse agent who had bitten his poor nose while out patrolling, and decided to try try and see what he was up to. ... Or rather had been up to. Something didn't seem... right, never mind the chaos aura and the fact that he was a half-youma. Well, whatever the case, he wasn't as much a threat to Kells as he might once have been; Kells was stronger, now, and if he did need aid? Well, his baby was easy enough to contact if that became necessary. "But I have the feeling neither one of us is in the mood for a discussion about manners tonight."

"Oh, you. Well, that was a fight and you were obnoxious." Coffinite drawled. He made no move to attack - did he care to strike a stronger man? ... Yeah, he was also older. But right now he was still angry, still bitter about everything surrounding Laodica and the mirrors. Wait. "...So how DID your playmates take to you being in that godsawful mirror... place... Hell." He drawled. The squire was obviously not GOING AWAY, so he may as well try to see if he was of use. "Did they even notice?" Snorting, he shook his head. "Obviously someone must have. ... Is that truly what being drained is like?"

"I haven't told anyone," Kells admitted, frowning. Was he really having an almost-civil conversation with a negaverse agent? With a half-youma? With someone who bit him on the nose? ... Apparently. What a strange world he lived in. "If you mean Elpis, I prefer not to worry her unnecessarily." Because she was his daughter, not that he intended to say as much to this man. ... And then the spider-hybrid asked a question that genuinely surprised him. Although... maybe it shouldn't, considering how Kasih had come into the family... "... Did you believe it to be a pleasant experience for those so drained?" He asked in lieu of answering, raising an eyebrow. "It's taking away someone's life energy, so yes. I'm certain it's nearly-universally unpleasant. ...why?"

"I presumed one felt nothing." Coffinite said quietly, then raised a brow. "I'm surtprised not to see that one skulking aroiund tonight. That said, nobody noticed?" Coffinite sighed in iritation, studying the starseeds in his fingers and scowled, looking to Kells again. He wasn't fond of the squire, but... Wait. "How can yougo unnoticed? What family ignores missing family members?" his tone was a sharp, furious tone as his fingers curled around his treasures, growling. "Leaving their children to suffer, to go unchecked, unnoticed..." The half youma was VERY unhappy.

"Never assume," Kells said, raising an eyebrow and frowning. "It only makes you look foolish in the end." He had no vested interest in this man aside from ensuring he didn't cause trouble while Kells could stop him, had no desire to truly speak with him, but... here he was anyway. Curiosity could make one do many things he wasn't overly fond of, apparently. "I was only gone for a few hours, and had mentioned I would be unavailable. If it had been longer I assure you I would have been missed." Though as upset as the Negaverse agent was, this was no idle musing. And that mention of children... "...Anyone who neglects their child is no family to them," he said, folding his arms over his chest and frowning. "I don't care what side of this conflict they're on- it's cruel."

"I quite agree." Coffinite finally said. "Especially when they don't care wether a giant spider has poisoned and wounded a child in their care... Or send them to a boarding school with little contact." His voice trailed off thoughtfully, and finaslly he studied the starseeds in his fingers quietly, exprtession oddly somber before he looked to Kells. He didn't like the man, but.... "Do you know of a place a chaos-aligned senshi might be safe? Because I've one whom will need a supportive group soon."

"I can't help one who isn't aligned to Order," Kells said, frowning, then shook his head and sighed. "Not unless she became so, but that's a challenge in and of itself, as it takes what I personally cannot give." But it was a harsh, unpleasant reminder that there were children caught up on both sides of this war - though, at least Chaos did not or could not force elementary age students to their cause. (And he was going to hunt down whatever cats kept thinking awakening school-age children to fight was a good idea.) "The best I can recommend are allies within your own faction." But why did the half-youma care, anyway? This was odd! "Beyond that, you're better off to turn to civilian areas." He didn't want a child to hurt, even one that had been corrupted - perhaps even more so one who had been, given what Kasih had been through....

Coffinite snarled. "What allies? You mean the idiots who would think her less than they? Tryto break a free soul? Never." The half-youma growled. "And the civilian case is no better. Theylet her suffer because the bastards thought money food and boarding was better than presence. Gods forbid they care for a child directly." Finally, finally he snarled, clenching a fist-- and the startseeds disappeared from between his fingers to return to the cauldron, earning a dose of profanity from the agent. "DAMNIT."

"If you're displeased with your allies, you needn't remain their ally," Kells said simply, then backed away and sighed. "Something to think about, perhaps." He shook his head, hand resting on the book tucked into its sling, a hiss escaping him as he saw the starseeds vanish. "... I'm going to guess those had something to do with this situation." It wasn't a question, really, but neglectful parents or not, those were proof of murder... Hm. Well, this was a morally ambiguous situation, now wasn't it?

"Well you could say that." Coffinite said smoothly, then stopped, staring Kells in the eyes. "Go... Rogue?" Could he do that? Work by himself?.... Granted nobody would notice if so, and they didn't know about Laodica. Could he... Hide her? It was something. "I wasn't done making my point, but it suffices I suppose. They won't hurt her anymore, at any rate." He huffed, but jusat shook his head, muttering. "Karma already tainted as it is.... So what's ridding the planet of their filfth..."

"Rogue. Purify. It's entirely up to you - I'll not force anyone's hand." It was a casual mention, both because Kells was wary of drawing too much attention to the concept and eliciting a hostile response... but also because it was the gently-offered ideas that might take root. And well... why not? If the idea did take root, what would he lose? Nothing - and there was a young girl, based on Coffinite's words (now orphaned, it seemed) who would only benefit from it. Gaining Coffinite himself as an alyl wasn't.. .Kells' ideal, but really, if he did purify, one less half-youma agent running around was still a bonus. As for the rogue option? Well, The Negaverse probably had ways of dealing with that sort of problem, but a lone agent and a corrupt entirely on their own weren't much of a threat. So really... win-win. "...I can't entirely condone murder," he said, shaking his head, "But in this case... I'll look the other way. Just take care of that girl - you clearly worry for her, and may just be the only person she has to rely on."

Purify? Coffinite blinked. He'd seen senshi of the other sides, but that Laodica might.... He was silent several minutes, considering before looking at Kells. "I need someone to explain this... Purifying' ritual." Coffinite said, tone quiet. "For Laodica. I want her safe. And I've little doubt the others would treat her poorly if allowed. And I'm not strong enoughto fight them off." At least the man was helping, even if it was apparent he disliked Coffinite. The man raised three arms. "I've doubts I can be drawn to your people, but if she can, please.I have to know. I want her happy. Iwant her free."

"You can, from what Elpis has told me," Kells answered. "But it's more difficult. That's all I know, however -you'll have to speak with her to learn more about it." Now he paused and let a smirk creep over his face as he regarded the half-youma. "Don't worry - I'll make sure she knows not to try to maim you if you decide to ask." Was he still a little bitter over the nose-bite? Maaaaaaaaaaaybe. But there were more important things than petty revenge - mainly, the safety of this girl Coffinite was set on protecting. "...If your friend decides to purify," he said slowly, expression thoughtful. "I give you my word she'll be safe, and not forced into anything. If that cannot be assured by me alone, I do have allies that can look after her, as well." It was the best he could offer - anything else would depend on Coffinite and whatever corrupt he was trying to shelter.

"She's all I care to protect. My life is nothing if she's hurt." Coffinite shrugged. The half-youma didn't expect blind kindness -- but the smirk earned one of his own. Oh, he was a saucy one - and one Coffinite quite was glad to speak to instead of fight again. "If I see her,I'll be sure not to bite her too hard." Coffinite decided snark was best. He was still scared of Order senshi, though, and the half-youma shrugged. "Besides, what of I is worth saving? As long as Laodica is safe. If you've friends who can see to her after purification,I'll see to what I can do to get her in your direction."
