Today hadn't been the worst day, but it had been a sad one. She had been in dance class, and it had run late, and even though Giulia had rushed home with nanny in tow, she had found out that Jada and Aidan had dug into the salted caramel gelato that she had picked out for herself, without even asking her, and it was all Aidan's fault and he hadn't even looked sorry and oh, goodness- this was the feeling she was beginning to identify as anger- or disappointment. Sometimes they got a little bit mixed up. And she loved her brother so much, too! It didn't even matter that she'd gotten to have a spoonful of chocolate fudge on top.
She had sulked through the first chapter of The Horse and His Boy, which was the third of the Narnia books. They had been reading them as their bedtime stories, reading one chapter every night. They almost always started a new book by reading two chapters, but by the time that they got to chanpter 2, Aidan had been half-asleep and tucked against Jada's side.That meant that Giulia would have more time to go out and do something like... stalk the night, or try and see if she could make Boop do tricks, instead of just running around. Orking and borking.
Oh, tricks would be the best thing! So Giulia had made her way out of her house and towards the park down the street. Maybe she could teach her Boop to like... stand on the table? Or something.

Kids were the worst, they demanded so much time and energy and frankly were just not worth all that effort. Lime much preferred having to deal with adult as they could be reasoned with, had a certain predictable nature to them. Kids were just irrational, nonsensical, and over the top in what they expected of the world. Like a suburban mom who hadn't grasped the concept that maybe, that extra caramel latte was actually just sugar and no amount of non fat milk would change that. Chibi senshi however were far far the worst thought. Kids in a cosmic war and supposed to be taught to kill- at least the negaverse didn't go around recruiting them. At the draw of some kind of order signature, Lime followed it's trail, eventually coming across the very thing he loathed. "Just what I needed today." He grimaced. "A brat to fight. Okay, come on kid. Let's make this quick." Snap the neck maybe? Or just reach and grab. "Do reason to draw out this longer than it has to be."

Bad-feeling people certainly knew how to take an already yucky day and make it even worse. And after the last time that she had met one of the itchy-crawly humans, Charybdis did not like the fact that there was another one coming at her. It slowed her steps. Maybe the park wasn't the best place for her to go at all. Only bad things seemed to happen there after dark, and she didn't... like that.
Boop was not a very good weapon, not like Ara had; without something better, all she could do was run away. Charybdis wasn't helping people like this! She was only getting herself in trouble. Aidan was going to worry, and she was always tired and there was just... every time she went out, badness. Badness everywhere!
“I didn't want to fight you.” she glared at the bad person, huffing out air. “I was going for a walk, why can't you people just let me go to the park!” really, that was the thing that made her most upset! She was 7 years old- “I should be able to go to the park without a full-size person being mean and trying to pick a fight with me! I'm four feet tall! You're not!”
Her hands went to her hips, and indig- indi- indegeshtyun? Real anger! It welled up in her small body. “But now I am gonna fight you anyways! Don't be a bully! Bullies are bad! All your YOUR people are naughty and need spankings! Seal Pup!” she shrieked the last bit, flinging out her shimmering, sparkling distraction.
Hopefully, the other person would be so startled by her magic that they wouldn't notice Charybdis running up to kick them in the ankle. At least not until it was too late.
iStoleYurVamps Chibi Sailor Attack: Seal Pup! Charybdis creates what looks to be a baby seal. It is clearly magical. It is very cute, and the soft little squeaks it makes encourage everyone to look at it. And not at Charybdis herself. It is precious and pure. With very big, wet, cute eyes. It can remain in a 10 foot area of where Charybdis cast the ability, flopping aimlessly towards her enemies and making soft little chuffy-whuffy noises. Seal Pup can be used 3 times and it is effing adorable. The seal remains for 20 seconds unless viciously attacked; once attacked, it cries for 5 seconds and vanishes (either at the end of the 5 seconds or at the end of its duration if attacked late). (TL;DR: Look! A Distraction!)

Lime rolled his eyes at the kid saying she didn’t want to fight. Get used to disappointment kid, he had to everyday of his life. It was called living and being an adult. Sure, he got a car and could buy McDonalds whenever he wanted now but really that wasn’t a whole lot. You just had to roll with whatever life thrw at you and boy did it like to throw hard. “Kid, you don’t get it. The park is public and- Why am I even bothering explaining this to you. Damn, I should just-“ Lime didn’t get to finish his thoughts as suddenly the kid was casting magic and he was forced to brace for what Lime expected was some sort of attack. What he got was- “Oh my god.” It was a ******** baby seal. A baby ******** seal. He started cackling. Now this was just pathetic. It wasn’t even doing anything just- He wheezed, hand slapping his knee before he looked up from his bent over position. Just in time to see a tiny body right in front of him and pain going up from his ******** HELL KID!” He reached out to shove the brat away, weapon summoned out of reflex. “You little s**t-“ He was going to teach this brat a lesson. “I’ll show you what a real bully looks like you little loudmouth trash.”

It was a public park, but badness- badness was not allowed! Neither was his hooting and hollering. Laughing at her beloved Boop- he was the rudest of rudes! So her small foot making contact with his shin was quite a good feeling- at least until his hand shoved, and the little girl went tumbling back, landing on her butt. Ow! How rude! <********> is a bad word!" she screeched it. "So is s**t!" as she loudly yelled the words. Great job, Giulia. "And you're extra bully! Such a big bully." And just what was she going to do about the bully? She had nothing. All she could do was maybe... maybe kick him again? Make him chase her around the playground til he got tired?
Welp.
She scrambled to her feet and darted off, heading for the jungle gym. Because what else? Maybe get his big grown-up butt stuck in a rubber tire while she ran home?

"******** YOU YOU LITTLE SHITSTAIN!" Lime yelled, getting hit and clutching his knee and calf like this was a 70s cartoon. Damn brat had a lot of nerve, calling him a bully. So what if he was? This was a job, and sure, it was thankless, but it was his job and damn it all he was going to do it right. Taking off after her, Lime gave the brat credit. Kid could at least run- but then so could he, and he snarled in pride as he slowly narrowed the distance. The prideful snarl turned into a howl of rage as he failed to see properly in the dark, falling over a step from one level of the play space from the others. "Get back here you ******** brat!" His pride was hurt worse than anything really. He was going to hear about this for sure.

This- this wasn't going right at all. Charybdis had been told that as a chibi she'd be a little it faster than the big people, but this one was really fast and catching up to her! "I'm not a s**t stain!" she shrieked into the night. "You are a shitstain! You have a poo on your face! And you're DUMB! And I told you that <******** IS A BAD WORD."
And then he tripped. She could hear the big thud behind her, and darted into the playground maze. Multiple entrances, multiple exits, a good bit of echo... and she knew this one really well. "Come and get me, you- you fat old man person. You grouchy OLD person. You're gonna die like, TOMORROW from being OLD."
She was clearly eloquent in her insults. "You poopy face grouchy gas bag!" she would need to get someone to teach her better taunts. "You're ugly!"

Lime was pissed. Not that he normally wasn't when working, but this kid was the worst. Howling, enraged, he ran after her into the playground maze. "Just you want you little b***h!" He screamed, echoing off the walls, "I'll feed you corpse to the youma myself!"

"b***h is a bad word!" she shrieked back. "You're a b***h!" After a moment, Charybdis then yelled- "Seal Pup!" The tunnels, previously full of kid feet and angry words, became instead full of the sound of a baby seal orking. It resonated, bouncing loudly off the walls- and protected by the louder, echoing sound, Charybdis slipped out the nearest exit, flinging her small body for home at top speed.
Boop remained, orking proudly along the tunnels.
